Well, don’t you two look grand on your vacation in Spain. I’m happy to see you both relaxing in the beautiful sunshine. I love ALDIs too here in Florida. Especially, the specialty foods from other countries. Enjoy yourselves!
Aww I just love you two. The burger looks great and how you improvised with ingredients, it's amazing what you can do. Great idea picking up the oil etc. I always pick up the butter pats in the UK perfect for that jacket potato. After all you have paid for them. Loved the fishy videos that Ian took so tranquil and relaxing. Thank you for taking the time to keep in touch with us. Enjoy you holiday and Happy Birthday to the Birthday Boy. xx
Watching while I wake up and drink coffee. Now I feel like a breakfast burger yum 😋 it’s so much fun exploring new foods, Spain has the best ham and cured meats!
You can always take the booklet into your store and ask the store manager if they can bring it in. Sometimes they can and will, but sometimes they can't, but ya never know.
Omg. Looks delicious 😋 but I’m amazed what you can do with just two burners. Great job Amanda. Thanks so very much for sharing your holiday. And I’m actually in stitches as when we went on family holiday last year I completely embarrassed my granddaughter by filling up the handbag with the condiments for our day out from the breakfast buffet in the hotel. She didn’t complain though when she needed extra sugar for her coffee 😂😂. We did pay for it though as you said we had paid for our breakfast. We just needed extra sugar and sauce 😂😂
Good laughing gear food, down the hatch, We have a portable Halogen hob, it's brilliant, can't believe how quickly it heats up, I'm a convert. It shows how much you can cook with limited equipment 😊 Happy belated birthday to Ian 🎈
you know i was only just saying to other half i could eat some haslet with salad now sunny weathers here, but i havent seen many people make videos of trying it... i always liked a good haslet sandwich on beach for lunch...
It looks yummy. Hope your enjoying your holiday & see the sunshine for you both we have had rain on the southeast since 7am it hasn’t bloody stopped today. 😍
I'm a sad person and have a little bag of kitchen stuff when we go away self catering, UK or abroad. A working can and bottle opener/corkscrew - essential. Small kitchen scissors, small sharp veggie knife (Kitchen Devil ones are good and lightweight), small basic non-fancy cooking tongs, small plastic chopping board (honestly!), plastic clothes pegs for resealing opened bread and such, different sized poly bags, plastic ties for poly bags, elastic bands, foil (folded to save buying a whole roll), essential herbs and spices in tiny zip lock bags, filled picnic salt and pepper set, dish cloth, pan sponge, tea towels, oven gloves, - and a 'geet big dollop of OCD' as you can imagine! In truth, it takes a lot of stress away and actually takes up little space/room. Mandy, I LOVED seeing you prepare the yummy burger with such limited space and utensils. Why and how are you always so calm? What a great idea to 'ahem' acquire the little pots and pkts (the olive oil especially, that one has never crossed my mind!). You bought the meal so why not indeed?! You both look SO well and sun kissed. Here's hoping the rest of your holiday is restful and .................. CHEERS! Mine's a Cuba Libre and Len will have a St Miguel please. You are missed and we're envious. x
I do similar Diane , honestly ziplock bags are amazing aren’t there , I use them in a lot of my packing even toiletries come with me in ziplocks I like the see thru nature 😁 I like to bring tin foil and cling film, and a mini thing of cooking oil, and a Tupperware of cleaning essentials like sponges , brushes , cloths , I even squash down kitchen roll from home . I that way your ready to go soon as you get there and first shop can be about the lovely local produce .I recon I probably bring half a suitcase of practical stuff like that so it’s not for everyone but we all have our own little ways 👍😊
@@aliasgrape4274 Perhaps we were separated at birth - I didn't even touch on the cleaning cloths, Dettol wipes, filled travel bottle of washing up liquid, a few washing machine and dishwasher tablets and such! Totally agree that it means one is ready to go!
Hi Love (Sounds so patronising in modern UK, but I'm rolling the years back to an earlier time when we did not get offended) Actually for me and my people, it's 'Hen' (as that is where I'm from, not too far from you). Anyway Hen (Only because I don't know your name and it is an old school term of endearment), do you remember a school dinner (approx 79-85) that was hamburgers in an onion gravy, probably served with mash or chips?
Oh well at least they sell the same crap abroad as at home in Aldi. Most people pull faces we we virtually never buy food in Europe that you can buy at home. What's the point, eat local I say and try local, you can eat burgers etc and day of the year. Just go out and have a meal and enjoy the atmosphere, you can cook this next week at home in your own kitchen and enjoy! Burger looked tasty though! 😁
You can always take the booklet into your store and ask the store manager if they can bring it in. Sometimes they can and will, but sometimes they can't, but ya never know.
