    Thank you very much madam.
    I tried your method and I got fantastic result. My wife and kids loved it. Usually they don't like upma. But today they ate happily and 2nd serving too.
    I used Bombay rawa and wheat rawa, 50:50 because I didn't have medium rawa.
    But your method is super.

    Thank you madam. I live in Canada and have been importing bansi rava from India to cook Uppit. But now that I watched your channel, I am happy to try this out with medium coarse rava.

    Madam, your voice is so beautiful, very soothing and relaxing voice. If possible please read bedtime stories for night, so that I can listen to your soothing voice and sleep. You have gifted voice, please tell stories, also if possible tell horror stories. Also you please put guided meditation in your voice, I am telling this because your voice has that perfect combination of melody, clarity, soothing texture and very pleasing to hear.

    Very nicely shown and well explained video. Thank you.
    We make uppittu or khara bath by adding roasted rava to boiling water after adding all seasoning and vegetables. The advantagw in our method is it allows us to adjust salt by tasting the seasoned water before adding rava. Otherwise there is no difference in look ir taste in both methods.
    I don't know if hotels make khara bath in the method shown here, but this is North Karnataka style uppittu.
    As I said both ways give good tasty uppittu.

    I roast the rava first and then add to the already cooking vegetables with salt in the boiling vegetable water and stir and cook in medium heat .Either way it tastes good.I don't add vangi bath powder in the end.😚.I will add it and see next time.

      Dry roast the rava and keep aside. Add measured quantity of water to the fried seasonings, steamed veggies let it boil then add the roasted rava. This way you use less oil..

    preparation is good... a small advice... you can add 3 glasses of boiled water for good texture and add turmeric while frying veg itself...

      My brother was working for a coffee estate near SAKLESHPUR
      I completed my SSLC from st.joseph's high school in 1968.
      Went to middle east in 1972 worked till 2003 and now we are in Canada
      Though i used to pass HASSAN during my trips to India i never attended to stop by my school
      Now we are planning to come down to India next February on long holidays i am sure will stop by for at least couple of days and see around
      This is my story!!

      Garam masala , bisibelebath powder or rasam powder or just make powder of little cinnamon clove jeera coriander . You can even prepare without adding any powder. Thanks 😊
