My grandfather started my addiction to the swiss army knives. I inherited a couple of his when he passed including an officer model with the original box + paperwork and leather pouch plus a wenger officer model also with its box and paperwork. Carried his for about 6 years after his passing and picked up my own spartan model in black a couple years ago. Too bulky for the keychain but still perfect for the pocket. Just ordered an Alox SD that can live on my keys and give me the nail file and scissors I find myself missing from the spartan quite a lot.
Very nice collection! The three used SAKs are the Waiter, as you correctly ID'ed it, the Tourist, and the third looks like a Gourmet, which is kind of a tough one to find. Honestly, after suffering weeks with horrible insomnia, I was thinking of doing a special episode on my SAKs to return to UA-cam with.
That's a grand collection! It was a real treat getting to see them all together. The most recent SAK that I've bought was the Super Tinker, got it a few months back and that one put my little collection at 20 knives thus far. No signs of stopping. I'm a Victorinox addict. 😆Cheers, buddy!
Love your Victorinox collection, I have a collection of 30+ but only one is alox,, half are SD classic remainder are traditional red + one with custom coloured scales 👍
Great collection Slippy! Great to see your first SAK is in great condition and still in your collection 🫡 I do love the SD… but I think I prefer the mini Swiss champ 🤔 Really tempted with the single bladed Alox 😬
I feel guilty every days since I stole that Waiter from you. I mean I love the thing and if I could go back in time I would steal it from you again, but still. I do feel guilty for it.
I always like SAK collection videos 👍 1-Waiter is an 84mm Swiss Army Knife, that was also known as the Victorinox Bartender in some markets. 2-Tourist is a 84mm version of the Spartan (not the latest version with 90° stop) 3-Gourmet (discontinued model) it came in both 84mm & 91mm versions the 91mm is a bit of a rare model (scale could be replaced) All factory models, none are custom versions
Nice collection Matt. What's your opinion on the mini champ? worth buying as a secondary or could it do as a main carry? I've been dubbing on that one. My favourite is the huntsman. Thank you Matt.
@@SlipjointSawyer SwissBuck-Odyssey is the same thing also and Wenger-Viking. the Odyssey looks the best with the black scales and clip point blades but the blade stock is thinner than Victorinox stuff

Thank you Stu, got to keep the first SAK in tip top shape 🫡
Nice collection! I didn't know that they made an electricians knife. I'm going to have to look for one.
Yeah it's a unique one for sure 🙏🏼🫡
The single layer 84 is a waiter and the two layer, a tourist (now discontinued). Both great knives in a great size. Thanks for the videos :)
Thanks for the info!
3:33 Waiter. 4:29 Tourist. 5:26 No Idea, a custom perhaps? Thanks, Slippy.
TK coming in with the brains 🫡 thank you Sir 🙏🏼
Very nice I like the looks of the custom.

Hey Jeroen, the mini champ is a bit small for a main carry but perfect for a secondary 🙏🏼
I have the Manager, the Alox Single Blade, the Compact and the Mountaineer in my collection.
All Excellent choices
I believe that the last black one is actually the explorer, not huntsman. Other than that, great collection! 😊
Thanks for watching
Fab collection ❤
Thank you 😊
you are ready for some Old Cross Alox 93mm knives and a 60's Alox Soldier. Get some mini screwdrivers in those corkscrews
If only I could find some ,😂🫡
you need to gets some Flitz to polish up those knives
I know, a few need a good clean up, just waiting for some time 🫡
that 84mm Spartan is called a Tourist
Thank you Sir
