- The importance of gesture drawing goes deeper than simply 'studying anatomy' or 'warming up'. In truth, it taps into a very important type of repetitive practice that improves artists of every skill level. In previous videos I've talked about the technique of gesture drawing, and in this video I'll discuss why it's worth doing in the first place.

I love the grid idea! Drawing many poses sometimes overwhelm me, but drawing inside a box/grid is really an organized way to do it!
The passion and emotion in your voice is almost tangible. Big ups!
That's a great exercise
Me encanta todo lo qué hace, hace qué Dibujar sé vea más facil👽
Tal parece qué fuera muy fácil...pero eso sólo lo hace un artista de alto nivel💪👀👽

Hey.. where can I find a video for reference?
But how do you change the pose you're looking at/drawing every 45 seconds? Do you have a stack of photos around ...? Also: Do you have some kind of timer that repeats 45-second cycles automatically?
this is late but there are sites for gesture drawing practice that generate different pictures of people posing for you in a specific time frame 30-60s or even your own seconds, i this great one called line of action .com and i think he might be using quick poses
