It’s funny how Westinghouse makes that generator and not many people knew about it. As soon as you slap Cummings on it, it becomes world known and the best generator ever. Thinks Westinghouse for making such a great inverter generator for Cummings. The Westinghouse inverter is $300 cheaper because it doesn’t have Cummings stamped on it. That and it’s the original manufacturer of the generator.

Today I’m going to do that, and I was going to search UA-cam for training videos but, after seeing your simple video, I don’t have to go any further., (in fact, do you sell RV’s? I learned a lesson about buying this gen. Changing oil, tried take off side cover to make it easier. 4 bolts along bottom cross threaded from factory. Got 3 out, 4th one spun the nut on back. Try to buy 4 bolts and nuts, EXTREMELY frustrating to find parts. If you buy this brand, consider it a throw away if it has any problems. Cant imagine how warranty repairs work, place I bought mine from was no help. Buy Japanese gen, easy peasy get parts!
Nope, my Cummins 4500i in for repair for 3 months now. Westinghouse sells same unit for cheaper. The 3yr warranty from Cummins is a complete joke. Rose at Tuscon repair for 3 months says they're waiting on a part. I had no choice but to buy another unit, I bought Predator 5000 with remote start andore power with replacement warranty and had hundreds left over. Like 300 extra and Cummins doesn't replace, they repair. And you'll go through hell with them. First they'll claim bad fuel, then oil was wrong, then you didn't register it (which you only need receipt by law and from the web site) after those headaches you'll get the warranty work?? Well maybe. They've for 3months now been waiting on a part, a single small coil on backorder. Marketing is a business and every generator is made in China, at best assembled in America, that means the stickers for given company were put on in America. Marketing is a scam. But a replacement warranty or you'll be screwed. When I went to Tuscon service center they had many of the same 4500i on a large work bench, ALL waiting on parts I found out by a guy outside. He even said how the 3yr warranty was deceiving because they only repair, not stocking much of anything besides oil and service stuff. Beware the marketing world. Westinghouse sells same China model, same engine with only cosmetic difference for cheaper. You pay 400 more for Cummins because of that 3yr warranty. Well you call Rose at Tuscon service and ask her how ticket number 420 is doing!! Yes it's really claim #420. Say your Joe checking on the 4500i that's been waiting on a part.. since July, it's September now. Go ahead and call, ask her to please hurry up!!

Are there any generators that can be controlled by a timer, come on at a certain time and go off at a certain time?
Does the battery switch need to be turned on for the trickle charger to work?
No, and it is not a trickle charger. Do not charge for more than 8 hours. (Just read my manual, bought today)

It has a handle it's retractable kind of like a suitcase.
