Hello Rick, You explained the operations of the generator really well. we haven't boon docked in a long time but this would be great to have . 💕NonnaGrace
Thanks for stopping by and watching. I used to have a Dewalt with a Honda engine and I used for 20 years. I wanted something lighter and more able to be easily transported. The Dewalt weighed about 250 pounds, while this is is about 80-100 depending upon the amount of fuel in it. Put 100 hours on it over the weekend without problems. Happy so far. - Rick
Thank you for the video. I am sold❤ Going to buy the dual fuel model. I will be at 6500ft to 1100ft elevation. Will need to find out from Cummins if I can get high altitude jet kit.🙂
I agree - the old portable generator that I had weighed about 250 pounds for the same number of watts. I put 100 hours on it over the weekend. Really happy with it so far. - Rick
That's a cool generator, Mr. Rick! It's so cool! I love how you're doing your clips! Sounds AWESOME! Can't wait to see you guys use it more! You did a very nice walk around that was pretty easy to understand! Thank you! -Trie
That is certainly my hope. We put nearly 100 hours on it over the weekend with temps getting down into the mid teens. It did its job running the camper. Thanks for watching Rick. - Rick
Here is a MAJOR problem with the p4500i. Look up yamaha or honda parts and you will get tons of places with exploded view, part numbers, prices. Now, look up P4500i parts and you will find NOTHING, ZERO. Don't ask me how I know! I need a few parts and impossible to find so far.
I love this cummins generator had it for 1 year and haven’t had any problems woth it 🎉❤

We put just shy of 100 hours on it over the weekend. Temps got down into the mid teens. Grateful we took it with us. - Rick
That's a really nice one! Great review too! We are planning on purchasing a new one so this helps!
BTW we install the Generacs all the time lol!

Great explanatory video, Rick! I think in time this video is going to become the go to for information.
Thanks Paulla - that sure would be nice. - Rick

Thank you Trie for watching. I am pretty happy with the generator so far. We put about 100 hours on it over the weekend while camping. - Rick
@@TheLaLaFarm No problem, Mr. Rick! Sounds AWESOME!
That’s a great review Rick, they need to pay you dollars 💵 for that. Take care and have a blessed week my friend.
Looks like a nice generator 👍 😃
I hope it performs as well as the reviews and recommendations say it does. - Rick
Very thorough review, Rick. Being a Cummins, it should be well made.
That is certainly my hope. We put nearly 100 hours on it over the weekend with temps getting down into the mid teens. It did its job running the camper. Thanks for watching Rick. - Rick
You should have turned on all lights, AC and then the microwave. Would have been nice to hear what the generator load sounded like. Good review.
Great vidio!!!!
Does the battery switch need to on for the trickle charge to work?
How has it held up? I just purchased the same generator. Still in the box😂
looks good. but i was thinking you had two a/c on the trailer. we have two on ours so we needed 50amp plugs.
We do have 2 AC Kyle, but we can only use one when using this generator.
@@TheLaLaFarm yup after thinking about that you can only run one a/c. one is better than none 😀😀😀
They should sponsor you, your a good salesman
🤣😁
Awesome review!
How much did you pay for that? Because when I go to Camper World I saw for $1487.
Dude repositioned the camera just to get some b-roll of his microtech OTF. 😂
Nice generator Rick! Cummins makes a good engine
Thanks Michael - that is what I was thinking when i was researching generators. - Rick
@@TheLaLaFarm I work on trucks that have the Cummins diesel in them they run pretty good

This generator uses an electrical choke and it has failed me and several others… it is well documented and can be found on YT
