@@thegoldenbunny4020 It’s not that bad of a plane. It does require a lot of experience to use correctly, so if you do want to put time into it, you can do well.
I was struggling so hard in this thing. It was a miracle when I logged on this morning and I was getting downtiered, and most of my allies were sabres instead of harriers and f100s+. Was finally able to unlock the f25 thanks phly.

I've never been more excited to get tf away from the A5. A5 fighting mig21's from 8.7 to 9.7 is cancer. Oh and mig17AS, Shenyang F5s.
Yeah, the F-13 vs A5 fight is complete cancer. Both aircraft have to put themselves in positions where they can easily be killed by the opponet in order to have a slim chance at taking them down. I hated having to try and energy fight or run away against a Sabre, and I know that they hated the fight too.

This used to be my all time favorite jet before missiles and Mach power creep were a thing, it could used to outperform every other Sabre and mig in a turn fight.

Hi! I have a suggestion to include in a video! Try playing ground forces with gunners gun sights for extra twist and maby even original custom (german?) gun sights! Fun and little more challenging than normal barrel gun sights.

When I found out just how much stupid RP I was making in sim mode Enduring Confrontation, I set out to get the Sabre A-5. That line of planes was the highest line I was in, I had just gotten the P-51D, and I liked the idea of plowing my way through the tech tree to go toe to toe with Mig-15s in a sabre, and really taste high speed gunfights.
... I plowed through the research, finally got up to the A-5... Couldn't even buy the damn things because of how atrocious the game's silver lion rates are, even with getting killer KDRs in enduring confrontation in the premium mustang, and the game forces you to buy 5 tier 4 planes first. Tried dumbing things down to air RB only to fucking hate the game because you only get a handful of kills per game, probably lose your plane, have to spend a shit ton on repair costs, and joysticks and VR aren't very useful in that gamemode, so there goes half the fun. And then you gotta sit in queue forever every 10-20 minutes instead of getting actual sticktime immediately in enduring confrontation. Hey, thanks, fucking thanks gaijin, for making only one gamemode the serious money maker. And then you're not making a ton even then, unless you're doing ground attack, usually in a FIGHTER, because at least they can defend themselves, or bombing out bases in bombers with stupid repair costs, and climbing to orbit to avoid them. How about make air RB more compelling, balance the fucker, and maybe I'll come play it sometimes, instead of forcing me to fill the queue just to get silver lions at a rate that doesn't make me want to off myself?
So I finally unlock the A-5... Now there's supersonics and early missiles buzzing around at the sabre's BR... It just aint the same meta I was hoping for, that thing is gone forever... And I'm still broke, and jet repair costs make it not worth even flying enough to get it upgraded... I pretty much quit the game entirely before they even added the harrier.
Gaijin's constant fuckup of the game's meta and balance- purely intentional most of the time, mind you, to sell vehicles, for example, you cannot possibly tell me the CW-21 being retarded OP was a mistake, that thing was made like that to get people to preorder into the tech tree- it has made me realize that for all the good in this game... It's not worth it. IL-2 and DCS, for all their faults, at least they strive for realism and balance, because it's payware, and they make their money on selling you a complete and realistic product.

Remember that video of user made map with big ass city, when it was cl vs everything, when they said no rank 5 premium, stabilizers wouldn't work at higher speeds, flakpanzer 341 was called coelian, kugel at 7.0, when they said they're removing tiger105, panther2 and they didn't at first but they did like year or 2 later, highest tier was 9.0 and only jets... good ol times
The issue at about 4 minutes is that it has instantaneous thrust, which makes it have a really good acceleration.
I'm glad I grinded through these things when the f-2 and mig 15bis were the top tier planes
