THIS GUN RELOADS IN .03 SECONDS
Begleitpazner - Ігри
The reason for why the .223 is louder is because of the higher muzzle velocity and the type of muzzle break.
💯💯
And barrel length
Bro my ruger mpr i have is so loud i was deaf for a whole week. Last time i forget my earplugs
It's also a tapered round, meaning higher compression on gas expelled, meaning more noise.
Also the AR platform takes a lot less to cycle than the AK, so your AKs absorb a lot more of that power just to cycle the bolt carrier group.
You guys are all on the right path to getting to the root of the answer... but to cut it down to its simplest form.. the 7.62x39 puts out around 43,000 psi when its shot... the 5.56 puts out 63,000 psi... thats primarily where the difference comes from. muzzle brakes, barrel length etc etc are all just modifying that difference further.
God bless the Bofors, whether it's 40mm or 57mm they're one of the best autocannons out there
Now we just need the Lvakan 4501 for some 120 mm autocannon goodness.

I also have an sks, and yes you can buy kits that have rails built in. Because of how the rifle is built it means that the rail, and the optic you attach to it, sits more forward than it would on an AR platform. But an optic or scope can still be useful and fun on an sks.
Sir this is a tank vid

“Don’t bubba me bro”-your sks
Mr Phly, you can buy Norinco/Tapco kits or other 3rd party furniture for the SKS that add rails and mounts to the SKS that allow the addition of scopes and even magazines if you dont like the whole top fed action
don’t you dare fuddrize an sks they are fine as is
@@bgokool7281 turn it from poop to pee.

SKS was the first rifle I bought as an adult. I have such fond memories of it! The 7.62 was amazing. Almost no kickback, and even my dad who had shoulder surgery and so was weak there had no trouble putting dozens of rounds through it. I wish I had not sold it, but it is what it is.
I’ve been watching for at least 5ish years, I was into Crossout way back when and that’s how I found the channel. Then one day I see a video about the Object 268 (featuring salt) and I fell in love with the game. I’ve been needing a bit of nostalgia so I’d love to see you run a lineup of vehicles at least 5 years old in warthunder. You can choose, just have some fun. Love you all :)
Depending on where you live, you might be able to take part in 2 gun action challenge match if you find static gun range boring. They sure look like a lot of fun
Wassup Phly, I love you're videos. Keep doing what you're doing
Thank you, my guy, for making me forget all my problems even for 18 mins! You are awesome 💯
223 or 556 for the AR15. Though you can chamber it in 300 blackout, 350 legend, 6.5 grendel and so on. But yes, a 16" or shorter barrel on an AR can have a bit of a bark
I'm a huge fan of 308 and the SOCOM 16 is just the cutest little rifle for it. Not a sniper rifle by any means, but it's great with a scout scope, altho the iron sights work fine at the intended ranges
You talking about guns irl just made you go up even further in my minds respect level lol. Love that
“Oh no! Anyway...” got a chuckle outta. Me
Would love to see you go back to any of the CV90s with the new reload changes
RE: SKS kits, yes. Because the SKS is so popular in Canada (unrestricted semi auto with cheap milsurplus ammo), there are some crazy kits available.
You can also get an SKS scope mount ( I got a cheap NC Star SKS optic mount and it's held zero for years) if you want the classic wood stock. A good scout optic works well on them
Hearing phly talk about firearms is very surprising to me lol. I have been watching you for many many years and don't ever remember you mentioning them. As a gunsmith, I can recommend what to go with or even build you an AR if you want.
What I love about this tank and PUMA is how fun they are. Despite being tank and td guy I just love these two at top tier.
They still can blast even at 11.3
You get a polymer body kit for the sks that you can attach rails to and make the sks a lot more modular. Scopes, foregrips, lasers, flashlights ect. You can also get detachable magazines. Not sure if your still rockin with the internal magazine or not
dont butcher the gun like that
@@richiemesar7344 in what way is that butchering the gun? He asked for suggestions on how to mount optics and add rails. Thats the best way to do it plus it makes the gun much more modular. Do you have a suggestion on how to do that to an sks without paying a gunsmith an outrageous amount to tap the receiver for an optic or doing what I suggest?
@@painedkillerk9 bubba stop
The SKS is generally best left alone. You can get optics for them, but they are very unreliable as they are oddly mounted to something that moves around a bunch when shooting. You'd be better off getting an AR platform and building off of that. AR's are lego guns and the beauty of a lego gun is that you can do whatever your heart desires with them. Lots of great companies out there, and depending on your budget you can get solid budget builds/complete rifles with Palmetto, or go for something more expensive with more bells and whistles like Daniel Defense. SKS is a fun one though and among the most fun to take out to the range as it is silly easy to maintain and very cheap to shoot, even with current ammo prices. Hope that helps Phly! Love the vids!
i'd love to see phly doing some shooting stuff at the range with the good ol' sks, maybe with a new kit on ;)
yes, you can get a rail kit for sks. and put a scope and other fancy things on that rail.
In my opinion 100-200 yards is a very fun range for rifle shooting. Anything farther is pretty difficult unless you’re bench resting.
if your looking to put together an AR with the purpose of mounting an optic i would suggest either using a barrel chambered in 223 wylde. It allows the safe use of both 223 and 556 in that rifle. Maybe an 16-18" barrel for better muzzle velocity, and a 1-8 or 1-10 LPVO (low powered variable optic). I built an AR10 chambered in 6.5cm with a 22" barrel, which should be supersonic beyond 1300 yards. You can do whatever you want with ARs.
I haven’t seen a .223 remington chambered AR barrel in an extremely long time.
You will see receivers marked “.223” like on the Tavor but the barrel is cut for 5.56
@@gunsforevery1 223 wylde isnt a caliber, it’s a hydrid chamber which can reliably fire 223 Remington and 556. Most ARs are chambered in 556 NATO which can use 223 Remington, but 223 Remington chambers cannot fire 556 due to pressure issues.
@@submissionoutdoors570 I understand that. What I’m saying is good luck finding any barrel (aside from Ruger mini 14s) that are chambered in .223 remington.
An extremely large majority of rifles out there are in fact cut for 5.56 nato. Even if the receiver says “.223 rem” the barrels are marked “5.56 nato”.
.searching for a .223 Wylde cut barrel is unnecessary as you will have an extremely hard time finding a .223 remington marked barrel.
Watching your videos always makes me want to play War Thunder. Thank you man, you're the best!
This is clear content! I enjoy these intro segments!
Day 1: Play the M50. Its such a cool and fun tank to play. It also has a very unique history.
Attempt 11 - Please play the SAu 40 tank destroyer. It's one of the strangest looking TDs in the game and I love watching your french-tank videos!
Man, such a blast to hear phly talking about what rifle he has and what he wants.
Get yourself a nice AR and keep the sks the way it is (assuming it is stock).
I live in europe where it isn't really a "get what you want" kind of situation.
It is actually kind of hard to get any weapon in my country - so even though I would really want something like the SKS I've had to "settle" on two AR15s in the rifle department for now.
Love the video Phly!!!
Hey Phly, love your content. Was wondering if you could play ikv-91, it’s still op at 7.3 and would like to hear your thoughts on it.

Not gonna lie, the range master always has a good smile on their face whenever a Mosin Nagant is shot. Gotta respect the small piece of artillery going off.
I hate getting killed by this thing😢
I would love a video where Phly does an AR build. Just be careful with gun content because UA-cam overlords hate guns
It's less they hate guns than their hyper cautious about annoying the EU, if the Eu started regulating them they'd be in real grief so they're trying to delay it anyway they can. is leading to a lot of overreaction on youtubes part.
2 fan spottings. 2 videos in a row.

The mosin comment at the range is so real.
I have an SKS D and yes, you can find scope mounts at Brownells, etc, and bullpup stocks at CBRPS. Cheap and fun to shoot. Looking to move up to K&M M17S in .308.😉

2 games offer this tank and I favor it in both. It was a great tank escort concept, but got shorted. I'm currently looking for scale models to build on a unit scale to escort apc/ifv
You're doing a million dollar job. Keep it up. This is the way
On the topic of your SKS they sell Sporterization kits, that add picatinny rails, folding stocks, and bipod mounts by removing the Wood Furniture. Have fun, buy more guns and keep retrofitting your firearms! xD
Finally a video on the Begleigtpanzer, I love it so much, another run IFV at this br. Is the dardo, with its amazing tow-2B's :)
SKS make great scout rifles. The trick is to mount the long eye relief pistol type scope where the gas block/gas piston is. There are kits, or ask a gunsmith. That way you can still use stripper clips. Peace!
The range guy, he was probably shooting 300 blackout.. 5.56.. simply cannot be louder then 7.62x39mm, the common Soviet AK platform. 300 Blackout is 7.62x35mm

The R round you’re thinking of is 7.62x54R. Mosin food.
7.62x39 (no R) is typical SKS and AK food.
Loved the JC clip
I remember when I first saw this tank in Armored Warfare many many years ago, I instantly fell in love with its look and high caliber auto cannon combined with missile launcher.
Then when it was added to WarThunder a few years later I was so happy that it's a good and fun tank in this game too.
It's just straight up a fun tank no matter what game it will be I think, due to the design of the tank, it can do anything. Shoot down planes, kill lights, kill Mbts... Well it can't take a shot back that well though.
Tip for shooting, go up in the mountains, range is as far as you can see as long as your on public land
Ya... you can get a nice SKS conversion kit and even get like normal interchangable magazines for the gun... but they are really specific and depends on the quality of the kit itself ;D
Just worked my way to the puma yesterday gotta say its refreshing not having to worry about reload with a .3 reload
Trying so hard not to nerd out about guns! big gun enthusiasts here! range burnn out is a real thing! how you fight it is either with friends, range and accuracy, orrrrr self defense training!
As a canadian, ive been looking for sks parts with my dad for a while. You can buy rail guards and 20 round magazine attachments for them, obviously they wont be cheap but its possible.
Funny you talking about firearms, I actually went to fire handguns for the first time ever a few days ago. Always did range work or hunting with boltys or my 3030 winny, so that was fun. Even the Glock 17 9mm is fairly dang loud
Sounding like quagmire with that no🤣
bro is hoarding the fun
Phly, if you want a really good AK pattern rifle that you can mount an optic in a closer position rather than on the gas block, I recommend looking at a PSA AK-105. Just go to PSA and filter for AK 100 series rifles, then the 105. I hope this helps!
They sell a ton of after market kits for the sks even good bullpup conversion kits. It’s accurate enough at a few hundred yards you could put a decent scope on it but I wouldn’t put any long range equipment on it.
Speaking as someone who owns both ARs and an SKS, go with an AR build. For the amount of money you'll spend building out an SKS, you can get a decent AR easily. Palmetto State Armory runs sales almost daily, and their rifles are plenty good, running about $600 on sale (you can also get a kit for about $300 where you buy the lower separately - don't worry, it's like lego bricks. Easy peasy!). It's perfectly serviceable and you will likely go years before you are capable of out-shooting the rifle. If you want a do-everything gun that will last your lifetime, get a PSA PA-15, swap out the stock barrel for a 20 inch FN barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, Magpul sling, Magpul flip-up sights, and a Primary Arms 5x36mm SLx optic up top for distance shooting. Grab a dozen PMAGs for $100 on sale. All told and buying on the very frequent sales, you can spend less than $1500 and get a perfectly serviceable, do-everything gun with magazines. As for the barrel, gamers will tell you you can't clear a room with a 20 inch barrel, but a friend of mine cleared houses in Fallujah with an M240B and it worked perfectly fine, and 20 inches means you can really reach out and touch something.
Just unlocked this baby, was struggling a little bit and this will help me use it!
I highly recommend getting some steel targets. Hearing the bullet hit the steel is vary satisfying
As soon as banks is old enough, I better start seeing some father-son gameplay.
Phly, please dont "bubba" your SKS. Lmao
Phly: if you're ever in SoCal, I'll take you shooting on some long range ranges.
pro tip! Put at HE VT rounds as #1 so you get them back first when rearming at a cap
The shooting range reference is literally me whenever I go shooting with my dad cause he has a mosin m44
they do sell sks scope mounts and scopes you'll need to find the one that best suits you though
You will not believe the amount of aftermarket there is for the SKS. New stocks, top mount and sidemount optics and sights, supressors etc
They sell brackets for the sks that adapt your iron sight mounting spots into a mount for a scope i think? Ours is a 60s yugoslavian one and the iron sights are apparently able to range to over 1000 meters
I love the Bagelpanzer, it slaps.
I think "within or below," in War Thunder context makes sense... they can be either above you and out of range or beyond your range in the horizontal so... Yer good, Phly :D... Also, accurate rifle/pistol range comparison, lol
Yes they have a kit that gets rid of the wood and gives a pistol grip and rails for SKS
13:16 steve won't show us to see his after-screams lmao :D i can't imagine the fury he unleashes afterwards
fast cannon turning with speed and damage is making it stonk
I love your intros man!
I'm running a Stag Arms Stag 10 and so far its been absolutely perfect. I'm using a Primary Arms LPVO which is easy to use at 100 yards. I've fired a lot of 5.56 with my time in the Army and have to admit my .308 rifle is much more fun. Ammo is a little more money with an AR10 but its worth it. 1800$ rifle I got on sale for 1200$. Fired perfectly right out of the box with zero lube added. Cleaned and inspected with zero wear after 250 rounds in one day. Had to recommend.
My man, there is a HEAP of Aftermarket chassis and conversion kits to make them lighter, or sporterized/shortened, to add rails, optics, etc.
I think we need to link Phly up with Brandon Herrera or Kentucky Ballistics...... 5.56 ARs can be loud with the right brake, but, wow, this man has some learnin to do LOL
Not only are there modernization kits for SKS but you can easily remove the internal mag and buy detachable AK mags that have a modified locking bar that works just like AK mags
At that point, just get an AK. The mags are more reliable, cheaper, and don’t require fitting them to the rifle.
They are also faster and easier to change on the AK compared to the sks, and magazine pouches can actually hold them because they don’t have that shitty duck bill on them.
Phly I've been the guy to pull out a mosin nagant at a indoor range🤣🤣
Pray for Phly, it won't be War Thunder or planes that will bankrupt him, it'll be SKS ammunition
I have several firearms and the loudest one is my ar pistol with 10 inch upper. I was shocked at how loud it is even compared to my 18 inch Daniel defense both are 5.56.
I DIDNT KNOW PHLY LOVES LAMP!!!!!!!
LIVE LOVE LAMP!
For an AR build, I have a Ruger SFAR in 308, and it's the lightest and most mean AR10 on the market. It's lighter than the POF AR10 and shoots like an AR15. You can shoot it one-handed, think about that! I pair mine with a Vortex 4.7 power scope and have a red dot to swap. I might get an under mount laser/light combo. idk. But it's definitely an amazing combo build.
Man, wish I could even find an SFAR. I got their AR-556 and it's a lovely rifle.
There is a company called Archangel that makes some after market stuff for an SKS that is pretty sweet. All modular, mounting rails, pistols grips etc.
