Shimano Di2 12 speed rear derailure has BR/ANT built it but the 11 speed does not so it requires the EW-WU111 ... correct?
Thanks for the helpful video. FYI I have the Ultegra Di2 8150, with that one you won't need to install an extra Di2 shimano wireless unit. It's already integrated.

recently, i had left (didn't disconnect) my 2024 12 speed 105 di2 system connected with the garmin edge 830 and this resulted in draining the battery of 2024 12 speed 105 di2 system fully. This also drained the battery of the left lever. Have you experienced this type of phenomenon ? please advise... thanks!

My Garmin 540 is fully charged and also is my new Ultegra Di2. But they cannot find eachother. Someone knows what to do ?
My Garmin shows 60% of battery level, however I am sure the battery is full. Like in this video, which is excellent by the way. It helped me mount my sensor etc, but ihave no idea about solving the problem
Should I disconnect the di2 sensor whenever not in use? Or is turning off the garmin enough? I want to make sure I don’t drain the di2 battery. Thanks for your help.

I’ve seen a number of reports where people have temporarily bricked their DI2 system for a while when installing the EW unit - I think the issue happens when updating the firmware. Can you just plug it in and connect it to the Garmin without having to use the Shimano iOS app.

Thank you for the video. Is there a way to program the wireless unit to stay on the whole time you are riding? Mine only seems to come on when I stop a ride or if I go in and manually find it and connect. It should be on the whole time correct?
I have watched tis several times. Its very good but in my opinion you go way too quickly. The transition between setting up the DI2 buttons and selecting which items to display in the screen is very confusing.

Can i do the same process and see the same data with the 530 or 520 ?
It should be pretty much the same except you'll use the buttons on your garmin for setup rather than the touchscreen. 530 and 520 can both display di2 data - see gamins compatibility list here -support.garmin.com/en-GB/?faq=qBnD0bXiLT7g6qMyExVRc9

Another option for the wireless unit is the Shimano Di2 XT SC-MT800 display. It displays the gear selection and battery level and provides ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity. Also replaces the Di2 junction box and provides for a nice charging port.
