- This is the finale of the ZZ Top concert on August 11, 2021 at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, SD. They played Dusty Hill singing Tush as they played along.
It was a great concert.
RIP Dusty
I remember first time heard zz-top. Back in 1975. My older sister bring back a album from us. senns then. Are mega fan of zz-top.i am old now. But the music are still awesome..for me.
Always knew Billy Gibbons was a class act. What better way to remember a band mate and friend. Rock on ZZ Top. RIP Dusty
Man, I just wanna go through and thumbs up all the comments from folks that love this band as much as myself. LONG LIVE ZZ TOP, LONG LIVE TEXAS!
One of the first songs I learned as a drummer.....the boys made me sing it too, always loved this song .....RIP Dusty
Billy with his get-up and cigar is literally the most badass thing I've ever seen.
I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd back in October. When they played Free Bird, Johnny sang the first verse and they used an old recording to have Ronnie sing the rest of it. This just reminded me of that. God rest the souls of Dusty and all the heroes of rock history we’ve lost ✌️ 🎸
Over 50 years of gods ol blues and rock. Billy is missing his companjon. I know....let the Boys keep on doin their stuff.
It should be GOOD ol blues...
May God rest your soul Dusty. Jamming with Billy Gibbons has always been #1 on my bucket list, what an honor that would be.
Never Will forget the first time I saw them July 4th 1977 Memphis, Tn. Liberty Bowl memorial stadium. 40 something yrs. ago. Best concert ever.R. I. P. Dusty you've paid your dues and so much more.
Beautiful tribute ! God bless ZZ TOP and God bless Dusty Hill !
As a Bass player and ZZ Top fan, this was awesome. And yes Dusty is one of the ones that influenced my music.
Because of Dusty, I have always wanted to learn how to play the bass. I keep putting that on the back burner. Dusty sure did have an influence on a lot of people.
Same here. Dusty was one of the best at keeping the awesomest grooves going
@@cruisinwithbuddy Get one and start THUMPIN
@@AnthonyBurrito1313 I started building one from a kit but put it off for the holidays. I think it has been long enough, time to get back at it this weekend. Thanks for the encouragement.
I wish they still did this! Saw it in Bonner Springs and it tugged at your heart but was so awesome at the same time!!~
I'm right behind them, house right/ stage left on the back dock about 10 meters behind the amps. The first band I ever worked for as a stagehand in 1990,I've since worked for them over a dozen times, second only to Skynyrd. My name is Bicycle Bob and I approved this message.

The Reverend is the best!
Le pido a Dios que deje a Dusty seguir tocando el bajo allí donde quieras que estés, porque seguro que hasta Dios lo querrá oír. Descansa en paz Dusty hermano
R.I.P Dusty 🇺🇸 🎼🎵🎶🇧🇷

I love how they can do that now, I saw Skynyrd do it when they played traveling man they had Ronnie on the big screen singing a duet with his brother. It was awesome like this

That a joint or cig?
Rock heavy metal rock music is all but dead and gone kind of like lake Mead dried up just about nothing but a triple sad but true rappers King Rock is Dead except for in my head all the Hall of Fame and all being adjusted in the Hall of Fame question what is rock
Ok so I only remember these guys...who is dusty? Please forgive my ignorance I do apologize in advance
Dusty was the bassist
@@cruisinwithbuddy so these 3 aren't the originals?
@@paulwinslow6349 the guitarist and drummer are original. Dusty, the bassist, died a couple of weeks before this concert. The guy playing the bass in the video was their long time guitar tech.
a real tribute would be to end the band
but its all about the money so heres the
imposter what a joke
Dusty told Billy to keep it going, so they did. Nothing wrong with that.
@@cornfilledscreamer614 yeah sure they were his dying words thats just bull from Billy to keep the cash coming in
no Dusty= no ZZ Top
@@buzzedalldrink9131 Ahhhhhhh - so you were there. What did he say?
@@cornfilledscreamer614 Dusty didn’t say anything he was dead Billy tells that bull so he can keep taking money from Suckers
like you rolling in Dusty is now doing backflips in his grave at the thought of the imposter playing his bass pretending to be him ,dirtbag beard and all
Неужели им не надоело играть эту ерунду!
Could do without all of the satanic salutes. Otherwise great!
Satanic salutes 😂😂😂
Not enough satan for the blues imo. Robert Johnson was watching this with satan sipping whisky, singing along 😈
Saw dusty and billy at gillys they packed the largest saloon in texas
We Love You Dusty !
Godspeed Pal 💙🎸
Saw them 3 times in the 70’s but barely remember yup wasted again.
I was in the band that opened the first Buffalo Chip show in 1982. The Snoot Gibson Band. It was laughably small compared to what it is today. The folks in charge treated us extremely well.
Dusty bought the property where his estate in San Leon was from my Aunt Polly after hurricane blew house away. Spent many hours fishing on pier my Uncle Barney built
RIP Dusty we love you and miss you brother
Beautiful way to Commemorate an Old Best
Rip⚘
Vocals on point!!! RIP brother...
Sorry. He looks awkward and out of place. No vocals. Not a good fit.
careless slipshod playing from Mr Gibbons . especially the slide guitar, guitar out of tune . needs to try harder
Boys it is time to say good bye. DH is DOA and ZZ Top needs to close out the show. Respect him and his memory.
