As a guy that’s played the drums since I was 13, Frank Beard isn’t a flashy technical drummer. But he is one of those “metronomes” - very solid player with great timing.

Saw this little ole band from Texas in 1979at the Lakeland Civic Center during their Deguello tour, and they put on the most memorable show I have ever seen, always be one of my all time favorite bands.
Nice that they are back. I miss Dusty. I use to have to ride the bus in L A. I went from driving a porsche to riding the bus, and that song captures my despair.
I have tickets for this tour! So sad I won’t get to say I’ve seen Dusty live but so delighted that I’ll get to hear these guys live! Not to mention Cheap Trick is with them

Billy sounds like he is playing better than he has in years. He went through a spat there where his playing was super rough. Thought maybe he was having some issues with his hands, but maybe it was just he had gotten into a habit of not playing a lot outside of touring.
Nobody ever replace DUSTY , but new bass player fits in well !!! ZZ TOP keeping it going !!!
