What happens to the $266 if someone outbids him? Does it return to his wallet? And if noone outbids, will he still have his $266 back to wallet or not? Please advise me. Thanks
Thanks for walking through this process. I tried looking for info about connecting the domain to the wallet and there wasn't a proper explanation. Good to know it will work automatically. I found your video by trying a ton of targeted searches relating to .sol domains and wallet configurations. Maybe consider updating your video title to include something like "... and connect with Phantom wallet" or something to that effect. Regardless, I'm glad I found this video/channel and appreciate the clear explanation and demo :)
So now you can use the domain name everywhere? For example if I send SOL from Binance to my Phantom address, I can just input the .sol domain in the withdrawal address field?
This is a pain and noone wants to wait a week, and also not reveal what domains they are buying if wanting to flip. They need to change this and make it more like Unstoppable or ENS
Thanks for this video knox. I've purchased my first .sol domain thanks to this video and the next two are on the way 😊. I have one question though? 0.0712sol is a lot of money here so can I use a smaller storage and how will that affect my domains??

I heard you mention to any phantom wallet. Is phantom the only wallet to support? I read that Sollet supports it now, but is it not a standard address across the solana blockchain?
I created a domain that is seemingly too big to fit in the phantom wallet name field (I can't fit the 'sol' part). Does this mean that I can't use this domain in my wallet?

I must've missed it...what was your winning bid?
Take me back to those days when 3.5 SOL was worth 545$
So can you build a "website" on a .sol ?
The usdc you staked for bidding, will it be refunded back to you if you are the highest bidder or not?
yes
@@danew6014 of course , not

how to access these .sol domains ?
Like we access .eth domains.
Thx for the vid mate!
Quick question - do you have any information on how to associate a .sol domain with a .eth domain?
I created a domain that is seemingly too big to fit in the phantom wallet name field (I can't fit the 'sol' part). Does this mean that I can't use this domain in my wallet?
Can you give your .sol address to projects for whitelist? Or is it still recommended to send your actual wallet address?
Can i buy more than 1 .sol domain names?
Ser you are a true HERO 💯🙏🦍🥰🧠
This is no longer the case. The video is Irrelevant. Solana changed to FIDA associated account. Please please make a new video

Hey Knox! Is this still legit ?? I’m curious, I heard something about a scam ?
wait did you pay like $266 for this??
Does the address only work with phantom wallet, or is it applicable to other solana wallets as well?
Other solana wallets will work just fine.

i have the same question
why would you bid so much lol !
I guess so no one would bid, it worked lol
Why is Sol better than eth?
Thanks.
transaction cost is low and time is quick
Cool
266 bro da fuuuuuk
Early internet was $hit.
Dosen't work in the US 👎👎
Start price is even more expensive than a www domain name... 🤦♂️
Ya but remember with a www domain name, you have to keep paying every year. Once you have a .sol address it's FOREVER.
It’s about the same he just bid really high, minimum bid is $22
