Victor please. He’s pretty hard and im new but he’s cool. So i would really like one please. Also take a break and try not to stay up too long depending on the time zone because this vid came out at 12am so please sleep.
Just played my first few games of Tekken with my boyfriend who's been playing a little longer than me and this guide helped me (and Claudio) sneak some round wins (coming from a fighting game background). Claudio is the guy I tell my bf not to worry about.
@@Boogard as a suggestion could you add these timestamps to the description? same for future videos, makes it a lot easier to come back to for reference when in training mode
Thanks for this. I am a tekken beginner and I’m going to try Claudio today. I used Reina all day yesterday and she’s great but I think I need to learn the foundations a bit more as her inputs are very complex. Claudio seems like a great character to start with
Hey man. I’m gonna be quiet in the comments but just wanted to say thank you for grinding out these videos man. Hope they give your channel the traction it deserves!
as someone who is still sort of new to tekken, all of my time in tekken 7 was just learning movement, and messing around with characters in the training room (mainly being Bob), with 40 hours total game time just doing that, but with tekken 8 being out and bob not in the game i was in desperate need of a new main and claudio just visually and country of origin were the big selling points for me as a fellow italian. this was a big help in me solidifying my choice in wanting to main claudio. i made a microsoft word document to take notes on each move you go over such as if the move is a poke, or launcher etc. also making notes such as if i connect F 3 on Counter hit i can get DF 3 1 guaranteed afterwards. im focusing on claudio for now but i also recently started messing around with nina in the training room learning the muscle memory for cancelling her Side Step 1 into backsway or crouch dash which im already almost able to loop it and go into other things on block if i want. thanks for making great guides!
new to tekken series here, ive always deemed it very interesting and finally decided to check it out. asuka has caught my eye but im not too sure where to start😵💫
Good video. This is my first Tekken game and while I eventually want to learn King because I'm a wrestling fan I'm considering learning the basics with a Character like Claudio before moving on to King so this guide was helpful. Keep the good content coming.
@@kelley09162Because you should start and stick to the character you want to play, everyone got generic tools and you can start out with his most important moves (pokes, launchers, punishers). :) You can learn Tekken with any character you like, he's got a big movelist, but the game isn't going anywhere for a long time. So start with his basics and keep implementing more and more of his moves to your gameplan! When you familiarize yourself with the game and moves I recommend looking at better players, Lil Majin is a master King player. Look at how they play and since you learned the moves you can recognize them and implement them to your gameplay much easier!
@@kelley09162 the best thing you can do is to play and have fun learning! Tekken 8 does a good job of teaching you the basics so just play whatever character resonates with you :D Good luck! :D
He made a beginner video guide (The Complete TEKKEN 8 Beginners Guide) with a chapter on being down. I'm new to Tekken too so main idea is either tech background, tech forground or roll back as he stated.
I feel like he's not done yet. Like they didn't finish him. D+2,2 doesn't do the starburst thing, df+3,2 feels like it's missing the last part of the string, many of his moves feel useless... They really had only one interesting idea and that's the arrow move. I hope they give him something in future updates. Otherwise it's such a wasted potential. They were very creative with the devil power characters but they gave the angelic power guy one flashy new move and [!SPOILER!] then they unalived him in the story mode.
Tbh nothing about this makes Claudio seem really good as a beginner character. His moves all have pretty different properties compared to a lot of his peers.
Hes a pretty aight character but he’s based a lot on the basics of tekken which makes him great for learning fundamentals so a good if not the best character to learn the game with
best in the game is crazy hes basic predictable has no wall carry yes hes really good in heat but its so easy to play against a claudio(Im a Yakza claudio main btw)
@@Boogard it’s actually really disappointing how t8 Claudio came out he’s just so boring to play they removed like half his launchers I had to switch to Bryan and he’s been super fun
ua-cam.com/video/4jbSpxeCybI/v-deo.htmlsi=t9bBn2t8DojuddyK If anyone wants to see the totality of Claudio nerfs. He's not in a good spot for Tekken 8. It'll be an uphill 0:04 fight most matchs
Even though this a beginner guide, Claudio isn’t a beginner character. You have to know how to play neutral to use his kit. Most beginning players have no idea what neutral is lol 😂
Let me know which character I should make a guide on next
Hwoarang!!
Bryan
Monsieur Victor

I made Claudio Sung Jin Woo and didn’t know that he is busted. Still it seems like he has so much combo potential.
Bro is grinding the content good shit

The arcade quest helped me a lot to understand the basics!
If asuka has caught your eye then you should play her
When it comes to fighting games you need to play whoever catches your attention
Great guide! Thanks
This helped so much it’s unreal, thank you

Can you do Dragunov next? thank you bro
The arrow is also a CH launcher
No. The arrow does the tornado on airborne enemy and the kick is CH launcher. If you CH with just the arrow it doesn't work.
Does the hopkick still have high crush properties?

Where should I find combos for damage to use when wallsplat launched etc, help
Lars! Other content creators haven't gotten to him yet.
Will you be doing a more advanced Claudio guide in the future? Been playing him since T7 and looking for some good T8 stuff (:
Do Law pls
D 4 1 i dont get it... press it at once or in a combo??
shoulda learned this guy first. first character i learned was kazuya😭☠️☠️
I don’t know if I’ll ever really get used to hearing “when (insert character name) is in heat"
Why is there no Starburst symbol underneath the lifebar?
It was implemented in an update.
Can someone explain what special lows and special mids are?
They are attacks that can be blocked by either holding down back or just holding back

Whats a good character if you have no sense of neutral?
That’s the point
He’s a character that can help a newcomer learn the game playing him
His kit incentivizes that
