      I bought Teeter brand off the internet about 3 years ago. It was $799 + tax. Assembled it ourselves. I bought it because of 24/7 sciatica for 2 years that doctors could not help thru PT or epidural shots. I use it for 6 months everyday. It did not help at all. Just feels good to relax when on 45 degree inverted level and I bought a cushion that has various light massage levels. The light massage is light, doesn’t do much either but as I said good for relaxing. Put soothing music with it via cell phone.

    Recently purchased the LX9 and I got to say, after 2 weeks I haven't had any sciatic pain. First time, I felt 6 pops/ cracks and instantly felt better. Great investment for anyone who wants to avoid the high costs of a chiropractor.

    LOVE THIS SO MUCH. I have had the worst back muscle pain in my tailbone coccyx area I was actually out of work 7 months on unemployment . I started using this table again and forgot how amazing it was . Physical therapy for a month and chripraxtors and seeing a PT that gave me massages for pain did nothing . Ur dad's a genius . And ur a beautiful smart lady and I wish ur family the best in life . I'm back to jackhammering floors and I'm happy again . The pain isn't totally away but I'm gonna try to do it more often first before I say it can't heal it completely 🙂

    I have an old Teeeter table that I bought in the mid 1990's. I was on the road all the time in those days and suffered with lower back and neck pain constantly. I recently started using it again for severe lower back pain due to getting older and my spine degenerating and compressing. I tried steroid injections and nerve ablations and that helped but seemed to only last days or weeks. Out of desperation I brought out the old table and started to use it again. The results have been amazing. The pressure relief is immediate and lasting. It helps me sleep better at night, and get going more quickly in the morning. I use it 5 minutes twice a day. I have never watched these videos before, and it surprised me to realize that I was doing many of the same things you recommend (twisting and wiggling to stimulate decompression) just because when you use it you begin to experiment and see what feels good and works to relieve pain. My old Teeter table has made my life better again. So good.

    I have suffered from lower back pain for many years due to some degeneration in the lower 2 vertabrae and some more minor degeneration about half way down my spine, which has meant numerous visits to chiro, physio and massues. I just picked up an unused Teeter F-1 today for a bargain price (I know it was unused because the seller had put the table on back to front lol). I immediately ordered the lumbar support and traction handles. I'll purchase the compression balls once they are back in stock. I used it once for 5 mins as suggested and instantly felt results with 2 light audible cracks in my spine. The comfort of the table is amazing. You feel like you are lying on soft padding and even only slightly inverted it feels so comfortable you don't want to get off. I know stretching is the best thing I can do for my back as I'm constantly reminded to do it by my chiro and physio so I'm hoping with regular use this table will mean a lot less visits.

    Just got an EP560 table about a week ago, what an incredible machine! Very well built in terms of quality and the benefits of using it are immediate.
    In the last few days I've been feeling some tightness in my lower left back near my hips, very spasm-like in nature as if it's coming from nearby muscles. I've been using the Teeter which helped but not until I saw this video and moved the lumbar bridge down that I noticed a significant difference in the pain. If YOU are having a similar issue--try adjusting the lumbar bridge!

    I am 71 yr old Physical Therapisr Asst. I have always been fit, active and mobile. 5'8" 150lbs. I do daily functional ex routine, nothing extreme, so I was very sad to experience pain from L4-L5 disc herniation starting about 9 months ago. After a month of PT and an epidural injection didnt help much, I was seriously thinking surgery was next. But for the last month I have been using my teeter and am very happy with the temporary relief I get. I am more mobile and have less pain. At this point I think I can manage with the status quo and avoid surgery. I want to believe I can reverse all the symptoms and nerve root compression, but just feeling much better and much less inclined to surgery, is a big win!

    Im curious, i recently purchased this table and if i do perform self traction even slightly i get this feeling / pain in my lumbar like it needs to crack(best feeling i can use to describe). but it is very uncomfortable to say the least. more so my lumbar has hurt for 2 days (not bad but.. their?) since i did it. NOW with that being said i have had every xray / mri known to man and to best imagining available i have no issue. NOW NOW :P with that being said i did hairline fracture my spine 14 years ago and have always struggled with back pain since. is it possible this pain im feeling is actually GOOD for me? as in things have stretched and moved that haven't for a long time? im not asking thinking your doctors or surgeons. but have you your selves heard of this? or had any feedback from users with similiar? either way this table is fantastic the acupressure nodes have done more for my trigger points then any physical therapy has done in a decade

    Ha ha! I healed an inflamed 3rd vertebrae with this machine but never worked my core. So 6 years later. I just had 4 basivertebral ablations on the bottom 4. And now. I must Teeter twice a day. Once minimum. You need to promote core work. I can invert for over 10 minutes easily. Once you get experienced with this machine, you have have just saved so much energy going elsewhere to heal. Which is a bandaide. This machine and core work like a Jedi for the next year. I'm just at work 2 of my ablation. Yes I can still feel everything however it's at a full roar rather than sharp 8's and 9's in the morning. And. The cause of all this is actually food for me. So, I took out everything except red meat shoulder rolls from Costco. I'm on my 6th and mowed through a couple whole rib loins. In other words, I can safely say that processed sugar addicts and fat overweight eaters are as drug addicted as heroin addicts. They look just as unhealthy. I had sciatica so bad in my early 30's, I'd have to crawl to the bathroom some mornings...first time on an inversion table, I felt my back muscles fighting/quivering for a few moments , because of muscle memory I guess, then finally they relaxed and i felt an actual electric shock shoot thru me...took about a month for the atrophied muscles in the lower back to get back to strength ( I had no idea how weak they had become due to the sciatica, until it was gone) but never a moment of sciatica pain since (11 years now).

      Hi Iddh, inversion can help keep your spine healthy and in good posture. This will make you appear as tall as possible. Inversion has not been shown to permanently increase the length of one's spine or your height.

    I forgot. I wear boots on my teeter which allows me to counter more aggressively without breaking my ankles. Be careful to keep your spine curved. I was told I straightened my spine a little and needed to put the curve in more. So be careful. I was in daily and highly elevated pain for 3 years then healed on the Teeter. But you have to work your core back or this is just like sugar, caffeine or drugs. We know that road.

    • @TeeterFitness
      @TeeterFitness  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Emiliano, we would ask that you please consult your doctor to see if they recommend inversion in your case. Inversion is contraindicated (not recommended) in any medical or health condition that may be made more severe by an elevation of blood pressure. This does not mean that you cannot invert, it just means you'll want to consult your doctor first. Keep in mind when you are talking to your doctor that the angle of the Teeter can be limited to any angle you choose, so even 20-30 degrees be beneficial. Of course, the greater the angle, the greater the decompression -- so depending on your condition and your doctor's advice, you can easily modify your routine to fit your needs.

      Hi Kristoffer, it is important to listen to your body and not to too much, too fast. Inversion should be relaxing and comfortable, take your time to progress. If something is causing discomfort, please check with your doctor before trying inversion and to determine why you are feeling any discomfort.

    The pressure nodes, are they soft (like compressed sponge or massage balls) or just hard plastic?
    Is the lumbar bridge effective in high angles/full inversion it seems to me that the obtuse the angle becomes the less effective the bridge thats because the back has less force on it. So the bridge is ideal for 90° (flat) which is not ideal for inversion. Again that's only my assumption.
    TIA

    • @TeeterFitness
      @TeeterFitness  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Roey,
      The Acupressure Nodes are hard to provide pressure. The Lumbar Bridge is designed to add traction to the lower back in low-to-mid angles. When fully inverted, you actually hang away from the table bed (offering more room to rotate and stretch) so you would not be touching the Lumbar Bridge. It is great for angles such as 60 degrees.

    I have tight lower back that sometime siezed resulting in me walking crooked until i get the muscle to relax (often with injection). It has gotten slightly better with doing pilates. I have the teeter as well but i dont think i use it right because after using it, my back would feel weak and feel more susceptible to the muscle siezing up again. What sort of position or exercise should i do on the table?

      Some of us with severe injuries can't do much ... I can do max about 60 degrees but if I'm not careful, my back will "adjust" itself and go out of alignment due to several dessicated lumbar discs. Mine is so bad that I can't rotate. If I do, my right leg turns off and trembles uncontrollably. Rocking on the teeter for the past few weeks has felt pretty good but I'm sure it will take a while before decent hydration will occur in the disc tissues before it will really feel good.

    • @TeeterFitness

      Hi Quez, it sounds like you need to do one of one things. One option is to select a height setting 1 inch shorter than you currently have it set. The other option is to adjust the roller hinges to be more responsive. If it's set to C (the farthest away hole), set it to B. If it's set to B (the middle hole), change it to A. You can find out more about this here: teeter.com/blog/how-to-adjust-your-inversion-tables-responsiveness/

      It sounds like you are inverting too far, too fast. Try inverting at a shallower 20-30 degree angle, then progress only once you are able to completely relax at each angle. This should help you relax and decompress faster than going to full inversion right away.
