purely out of interest what are you listening on? Sounds decent on my Adam tv7, maybe a little less produced sound, a bit crowded in the mids as well but decent

I’m not sure what’s happening with this song. I’ve listened to it on Apple Music and other platforms, but it sounds like a lot of static and distortion. The vocals are barely understandable, and the guitar sounds off. I’ll assume something went wrong and a mistake was made during the upload. The last song was amazing-clear, exciting, and overall well-produced. I’ll give this some time and hope the issue gets resolved soon. ** Update.I've listened to this with surround sound speakers and it sounds (not perfect) but way better than this. The vocals come out more and the instruments sound a bit clearer.
This makes me appreciate the original version more

This would be so good if they didn’t send the mix to be done in a high school audio processing class.
The difference in production almost hurts. In the original record you could separate every instrument and note. This on the other hand is just noise.
I don’t understand why you guys do this. The 2009 version was groundbreaking and is one of the best Metalcore records ever released for a lot of people.

I think a lot of people don't realize that first album was sick but heavily heavily processed to the point when I would see them live and they didn't sound like the same songs.. This is more of what you'd get @ a MMI show.. I think the music sounds better on a nice system or in your car, on my pc speakers it sounds a lil worse than it would with my headset or car speakers .
MISS MAY I and Currents!! wow! epic. I know many people are disappointed with the mix though. I don't care that much.

Are you sure it's not just YT? Sometimes the audio for these kind of songs will get fuzzy, and then I'll have to close and open YT 2 to 3 times (and playing the video before closing the app again) and it eventually works

Sounds like the guitars have no cabs and its fuzzy! Might have to listen in different environments but this and the last single sounded pretty muddy! Thats just my opinion

A lot of bands like this back in the day are successful due to Joey Sturgis and his clean, crisp mixing that makes these old albums sound amazing to this day. This mix is horrendous and isn’t even worth listening to. Ruined a classic for no reason

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I def like what they did with the rerecording.
But the engineer needs to hop back on the computer and tweak the EQ of some of the effects. I get the the attempt at the old school distorted fuzzy sound. But its not mixed well, boot that pc up and clean that up.
Otherwise i hope this comes out on vinyl im 300% copin it
