So what do you get when an incredible metal band gets a jazz, funk, fusion, orchestral backing sound? An incredible song that I can't stop listening to on repeat!
This is the song that blew it out of the water for me and really made my ears "sit up" more lol. My brain is still trying to wrap around what this is. The rest of the album was standard god-tier Earthside, but this song is such an interesting blend of things while still having a cinematic rock feel.
I pity everyone in the metal scene who's let this group slip under their radar, these guys are working musical wonders Y'all one of the few groups to consistently put my jaw on the floor, this music is stupendous.
Man, I love the esoteric, atmospheric like sounds that this band creates. It falls so naturally in the prog space. So much feeling in the sounds. Every track is unique in its own way.
Every next song of this album is surprising 🔥 Unexpected blend of art and mastery !! Hats off to all of you. This album will not only be adored, embraced and listened to on repeat but will also be studied by future generations for it's versatility and progressive elements.
CD is already sold out :( Please add more copies for pre-order! I need to buy this so badly. I was supposed to see you with Voyager last month in London, hopefully I will see you when Danny recovers
Larry Braggs used to be in the band Tower of Power. He's also sung more recently with The Temptations. Sam Gendel is playing the ambient/experimental sax leads/solos. Unlisted as a featured guest, but in the credits, there's also the vocalist Doron Flake who's layered in with Larry in many spots who also adds a lot. Doron Flake used to sing in the band The Smyrk and is now in a band called Model Decoy. The sax/horn section is 7 members, led by John Scarpulla. Like Larry Braggs, many of the players in this horn section have played with Tower of Power.
This one is a little too far out there for me. My least fave song so far out the NE album. Gets better later in the song though. I can appreciate the band pushing the boundaries though.
This was the best song of 2023. REAL MASTERPIECE. Pure complexity. By far the best in the album.
My fav song!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💣🔥💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣

This song has dethroned Skyline as my favorite Earthside track; not by much, mind, but this is quite the magical blend of genre and style.
Ok is it just me or does this sound like some classic Symphony X?! You guys are killing it 🤙🏻

Currently convinced this is the best song ever made, bring back Larry and make an entire album of this please!!!
I freaking love this song! Especially the parts at 3:24 and 9:30!
I pity everyone in the metal scene who's let this group slip under their radar, these guys are working musical wonders
Y'all one of the few groups to consistently put my jaw on the floor, this music is stupendous.

EARTHSIDE is a band like no other.
Prog-metal meets that funky Dirty Loops modern R&B sound. I love it.
Never, never did I imagine that one half of Clown Core would collab with Earthside!! Holy shit. What a song/album 🤩

@@EarthsideBandWhoops!! I mean, sorry, mistaken identity! 😅 Just bought the Vinyl guys... couldn't resist. Soooooooo good 🥳🤟🏻

Braggs and Gendel... is something I would have never guessed! What a collab, man!
Man, I love the esoteric, atmospheric like sounds that this band creates. It falls so naturally in the prog space. So much feeling in the sounds. Every track is unique in its own way.
This one is soooo good.
For the moment my favourite with We who lament and Let the truth speak.
I have waited so kong for this album to come out…Earthside is top of the prog metal scene
From what I hear Kong Skull Island has been out for some time. 🤣
These guys and Nospun!
Album not only of the year but also of all time (maybe).
Love this song, like a James bond movie song
Oh man. Never thought I'd see Sam Gendel on an earthside album :D
The atmosphere is insane, music that makes you FEEL. Still one of my favorite bands
Oh man, when this one kicks in, the STANK! Holy SHIT!

Sax is so OP in Prog music 😂
This is not my favorite song on the album, but it absolutely fucking slaps like no other.

When is this getting a music video?
The drumming reminds me of the late great Steve Porcaro....
i didnt have to look up whether this is prog or not

What bands are the singers from?
Look it up.

Larry's vocals sound very similar to Ole Børud (Extol). Great song though!
