So cute! This video saved me as I was half into another pattern that wasn't working for me and then found this tutorial! You saved me from frigging after safety eyes. Can't wait to do more of your octos! Thank you!
Loved this tutorial! I am very happy that I was able to add an octopus to my collection! I made mine with thicker yarn and it looked just as wonderful! Thank you
Great Tutorial! Didn't use as much yarn as I thought so luckily I can make some more cuz they r just so cute! Very easy and quick for me to do and love that it is not sew for the little leg things!
OMG this is the first successful amigurumi I’ve done! It’s not perfect by any means and I have an extra leg 😂 but it actually looks like a octo! It also took me 2 and a half hours to do. 🤪Thanks for the great tutorial!
Thank you for the easy Octopus tutorial! And thank you for being slow enough to keep up with, along with explaining what you are doing with each step! I've just started crocheting, and every other video I've attempted to watch to make one of these, says it is beginner friendly, but they move so fast that I have no idea what they just did in each step.

really well explained. im still getting used to crocheting and this video helped so much!! i love how you took time and had so much patience with this tutorial. now i have a little cute octopus :)
Hi! It’s Awesome tutorial! I am new to crochet with yarn, but I’ve been doing loomigurumi animals for years now. This was my first amigurumi project and it turned out good) Subscribed, will be waiting for more tutorials ❤
hello Erica! this octopus is so cute!! I actually got so obsessed that I crocheted 15 of them 😅. Was just wondering if you could release a UA-cam or written pattern for your other octopus shown in ur shorter vids. It is a little tricky to describe, but it is around the size of this one, but with more wavy, connected looking tentacles.
Love how mine came out! Easy to follow, next time ill use a solid yarn, used a multi color chunky yarn and seeing the back loops was a challenge after doing the legs lol.
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial!!! This is my first crochet plushie and I was able to follow everything step by step on how you explained it 🫶🏼
for the good Magic ring R1 6 sc R2 6 inc 12 R3 6 (sc, inc) 18 R4 6(sc, sc, inc) 24 R5-8 sc all around 24 per round 5 hdc dec per tentacle bottom (sc, sc, dec)
great tut but I was kinda confused on row 3 was it increase single crochet increase single crochet or...? Edit: I just started crocheting a few months ago so I'm just getting used to all the abbreviations :)
The magic circle is just how those crochet patterns start. Sometimes when my circle doesn’t close , I use the chain two method instead. If it’s too fast you can always change the playback speed in the settings!
ive tried a million tutorilas and i still cant get a magic ring, atp I'm ready to give up bc it is not working no matter what and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
Hi! Im here to help :) it took me a few tries too, but i got it down (im a beginner myself, this my third project). Im willing to answer any questions. Im also willing to dm you a video of me doing it if you want :>

So cute!
great pattern!😊❤
I swear I did this in like less than 30 mins and it’s my first time doing a octopus 🐙
This is so cool! Tysm 🕺
Well done! great teacher. Easy to follow. thanks for tht tutorial
Can we do the chain 2 method instead of the magic ring?
Great tutorial. Tu💋
When doing the tentacles, how do you not get a gap when you do the 5 HDC cluster.. no matter what wool I use I always get a gap
Great tutorial
Where do u find these safety eyes?
Amazon
You can also sew the hole with a crochet hook if you don't have the needle
mine only got 6 tentacles but i love him!!
I have a question, does the hot glue damage the yarn?? And i can't see the front loop and the back loop clearly
Hello, I wanna ask whether you guys know how to avoid like big hole when making 5 HDC in one loop?
Try not stretching it out as much when you crochet into it
I love Themse totorials you do but just the 9th round did not work out for me but love all of ur totorials
is there something I can us thats not those plastic eyes bc I dont have those?
can you use a 5mm hook?
So cute
timestamps for me 6:19
great tut but I was kinda confused on row 3 was it increase single crochet increase single crochet or...?
Edit: I just started crocheting a few months ago so I'm just getting used to all the abbreviations :)
I am making this but with a diff yarn cause I can’t find that yarn
Thanks 🙏 so much ❤
Decrease
Am I the only one that’s really frustrated
Yes
I am too
Me three
Me too hun me too
No ur not 😭
is it okay to sell products that i have made with your tutorial if i credit you for the pattern?
What's the difference between single crochet and increase?? 😭😭😭 omg I just learned crochet last night and now I'm very struggling😭😭
An increase is two single crochets in the same stitch
I can’t close my magic ring? it’s acting as if it’s stuck, do you know why?
hi! if you can't do the magic ring, then you could just chain 2 and then do 6 single crochet in the first chain!
Not just you i got stuck on how to make the magic ring..
Im so confused, did you just made a single crochet at row 9
?
Thank you
Round 1: 6 sc in mr
Can I sell the octopus I make and say that the patten is from you?
Im so frustrated,i definitely did something wrong,i only have 7 legs or whatever they are called😭
Idk how but at one point I had seven legs when the roe was done 😵💫 fixed it but for a bit I accidentally made a septopus
Could you do it slower also why the magic ring??
The magic circle is just how those crochet patterns start. Sometimes when my circle doesn’t close , I use the chain two method instead. If it’s too fast you can always change the playback speed in the settings!
Not hate, but why did you say it was no sew and then say you needed a sewing needle? ( im a beginner, so i don't really know a lot about crocheting) 😅
ive tried a million tutorilas and i still cant get a magic ring, atp I'm ready to give up bc it is not working no matter what and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
Hi! Im here to help :) it took me a few tries too, but i got it down (im a beginner myself, this my third project). Im willing to answer any questions. Im also willing to dm you a video of me doing it if you want :>
Mine got 11 tentacles :> it worked tho
GUYS HELP IDK HOW I DID THE MAGIC RING LIKE I TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES BUT WHEN I GAVE UP I RANDOMLY DID IT GUYS HELP
Am I the only one that only got 7 tentacles on mine 😭 Where have I gone wrong😖
I got 9 😭😭🙏🙏
You probably missed some stitches, I missed 1 and can't make the last decrease. And here I thought I finally can find the next stitch easily
Ok but why does it say no sew but in the beginning it says that we need a needle for sewing??
That’s for fasting off…
