I REALLY wish the Sims would recognize step-parents in the game! My sim's stepfather flirted with her while her mom was at work once at it felt SO GROSS
I recently found an option to "Adopt" after having already done "adopt as care dependent". This changes the relationship to mother or father and prevents the weirdness from occurring

Name suggestion: As the children of the final gen, perhaps names that allude to multiple colors like Opal, Iridian, Iris, or Aurora for a girl? For a boy, the name Walken means rainbow!

Aurora is my favourite name. That would be a great choice for a final heir.
I think it would be so cute if after the wedding, they got matching tattoos, sense she is more of the secret rebel type. Or maybe she would suggest getting matching tattoos after her secret affair, when she decides that she wants to stay with her husband forever.

The rainbow in the background is perfect for the wedding! Quentin's actually the uncle of River, not her cousin, because that's her mom's brother.
Vincent needs to go into the education career. We haven’t had that one before in this challenge. And with him doing everything to get his grades up to graduate I think he would want to be that support for other young students struggling.

Haha and not to mention as have multiple packs/kits dedicated to outdoor furniture, but she was recording it's easy to gloss over those details when doing so.
River Berry having doting parents who not only paid for her home but left her a nest egg to decorate and live on is a whole other animal than us rags to riches peeps are used to. I love it❤ Also Vincent literally just graduated so it tracks that he doesn’t have a job immediately, I think it adds realism.

I happened to get engaged tonight just before I watched this, so all the wedding stuff felt very sweet & fitting lol, made me think more about what I'll want

If they have a girl you should name her rainbow 🌈 for all the colors of the challenge and that there was a rainbow at their wedding. Btw this is the best house you have decorated in the berry challenge.
cake tasting is a thing in the cake shop down the street! They could definitely do that during their date
If you want the child to continue on the the changing color obsession even if you don't want to continue on playing try a name with a color not done yet. You could do White like Wynter for a boy or girl or Ivory for a girl. Black you could use Leyla (means dark hair), Ebony or Raven. You could use Blake for a girl or boy. But if you want to use a blue theme could be Jay for a boy (like bluejay) or Sky (but I know we already had Skylar)
I also like Iris (because its not only a violet-blue flower but also the Greek goddess of the rainbow which is fitting for the challengeand cute becauseof the wedding)
I can totally see Vincent as a school sports teacher (like elementry school gym coach). I love the name Iris for a girl, or Pascal for a boy.
Not me pretending that she didn't invite Desawn because there's still lingering feelings there that she doesn't want to acknowledge...

9:20 Re: River being in her more nautical era. When you were building River's teen study nook in her parent's house, one of the things you added was a model sailing ship, and at the time you commented that River would likely bluff and be like "yeah, I'm totally into sailing" if anyone asked her. Clearly that sailing ship inspired her more than she realised at the time.❣

I swear the wedding pack gives me the most fun plot twists. Last time I had a wedding everyone, EVERYONE died of overheating. It was a beach wedding. I managed to keep my bride and groom alive however they were too sad to exchange vows and it kept getting interrupted because someone kept dying 😭

Vincent should be working as a Salaryperson or in the business career. So that down the track he’s working so often that river feels lonely and ends up cheating on him once but then realised keeping the family together is more important and fixes her marriage. Vincent could then change jobs to something with reasonable hours.
Kelsey forgot about the outdoor furniture area in the outdoor section. I can't remember how much of it is actually for outdoors or if it's just all the couches and benches lumped together, but it exists! I'm all for naming the last daughter Rainbow, but if it's a boy, Walken works too, like someone else said. Thanks for all the videos and two years of NSBC entertainment!

I totally understand about the being able to romance the step-dad! This happened to my sim not long ago and I was like WHAT? I don't recall it ever being this way and not sure when it changed but I just stopped playing that whole save when he actually threw a flirt at my sim. (his step-daughter).

you can look at only outdoor furnture by going to rooms then choosing outdoor room option and the furniture selection from there
