This was it!! I was looking for the taste of this jolloff rice ever since my parents brought home leftovers from a party when I was a teenager. Finally 3 decades later you have shown me the magic recipe! Thankyou ❤
Wow. Thanks for reminding me about roasting my peppers first. I don’t know why I stopped doing that. It was always delicious, even to make stews. Thanks for the video again❤️
I bought this from an amazing place near my house. They put it in a wrap with a boiled egg, slaw, and sauce of your choosing. They were out of chicken on time so I tried the beef. I thought it was burnt when I took out a piece to eat but now I understand how it was prepared. Thanks!
Been a while, Chef Lola. Welcome back. Best wishes for 2023.Looks like I will start 2023 with this the only differences are with chicken gizzards and the long-grain parboiled rice.
@Chef Lola, I came across your chall about a year ago, and since then, I have been following you on my regular account. I like the fact that before we comment, it says, " Be respectful." I learnt something else from you again as usual. Thanks for this recipe. I will be making it for my family.
Thank you Lola, this (as well as your classic Jollof recipe) is my go-to when it comes to Jollof. Its my 5th time cooking this morning and it comes out beautiful every single time 🎉🎉
Hello Lola, after the jollof rice is cooked, which kind of butter do you think is better to add before serving, Nigeria blue-band butter or Kerry Gold butter? We have "Cultural week" next week in the school and looking forward to cook Jollof rice.
I am always scared of using Basmati Rice to make Jollof Rice, especially for a party or big event. But thanks to this video, I think I can do it. Thanks again Chef Lola.
I made this for my husband and he said it was one of the most delicious things I ever made after 13 years together 😁But the beef ended up a little dry (even though the flavor was good.) Any tips to keep the beef from drying out after 3 rounds of cooking (browning, boiling and then frying)?

How do i roast without oven
How long do you steam it for?
It depends on the measurements you're cooking with.
