Trolling Motor Bow Mount | New From FLYCRAFT

The Flycraft Trolling Motor Bow Mount, for X and Guide models, will up your still water fishing game like you could have never imagined! If you've ever been on a bass boat and enjoyed the hands free GPS and remote control steering of a bow mount electric trolling motor then you know what a game changer it is. With a bow mount trolling motor you can control the motor from any seat in the boat. With an easy to use remote control you can easily still cast and fish while controlling the motor. Typically on lakes, ponds and the ocean, one person in the boat is either rowing or operating the tiller on a rear mount motor which ultimately means one person cannot be fishing while navigating the boat. This new system fixes that. Every one in the boat can fish at the same time, or if you enjoy fishing solo you can control the boat and fish at the same time even when you are alone!
These electric motor systems can be controlled by a remote that you wear on a lanyard. Simple buttons will control your speed and direction, but what's more is you can utilize the GPS functionality. Program GPS routes with the system and the boat will drive itself while you focus on fishing. If you need to net a fish or want to stay in place for a bit, press the spot lock/anchor button and the motor will hold its exact position. Since these motors rotate 360 degrees,even if the wind is moving you around the boat will hold its position.
This 3 lb mounting plate is incredibly easy to install. No drilling or bolting necessary as seen in the install video. Simply slip it on to the front of the frame. and use two straps to attach.
We do not recommend ever transporting the boat on land while the motor is mounted, so whichever bow mount motor you decide to pair with this you will want to make sure you install the quick release system. This allows you to mount or remove the motor in a few seconds.
We often still use a gas or electric motor on the back to get from point A to B, but while fishing we drop the bow mount down and enjoy an easy hands free motoring method.
This mount is rated for up to a 55 lb thrust electric motor. Minn Kota and Motor Guide make great options. Below is what we use. Remember that whichever motor you purchase you will need the quick release. Our mount is designed to work with the Minn Kota Quick Release Bracket MKA-21 and the Motor Guide Xi Quick Release Mounting Bracket Kit.

We don't have a mounting option for the stealth 2.0. At least not yet.
