Today we went on the hunt for the lightest of the light. 19g inner tubes. 120g cassettes, 1280g wheels, 680g frames. We found it all.
I dare you to take a shot (of Orange Juice?) whenever I say "Crazy" 3 days of 18hr work days is killing my vocabulary.
Thanks for not suggesting we take a shot every time you said 'super' .
I can’t get enough of this kind of content. Hope there is more videos of the show.
2 more videos coming...
@@ChinaCycling 👀
Cool man. Looking forward to seeing that internal stem conversion for the TCR on your site. Lots of good stuff. Thanks for the video.
Please please. Longer videos. We love this stuff.
We have to edit and do subtitles on the same day. At the moment we go to bed around 00:30am, and then wake up at 7:00am to hit the show the next day. Longer videos would break us, haha. But, we have lots of footage to edit when we get back to our HQ.
Love the channel. Learned so much about Chinese/Asian brands. They are our best hope for bringing the crazy inflated prices back down to reasonable levels.
Hey Joe. I was in Shanghai at this Cycle Show on Day 1 only as that was the only time I had available to attend. Visited the Winspace stand & asked the guys there where you were as I wanted to take a photo with you & have a chat as well. They didn't say you had left Winspace. You work hard, buddy ,and I pray you have all the success with PandaPodium. Been a fan of your channel since you started. Will order stuff from you coz I know you are a good person who will give your customers his best! God Bless.
You also went to Magene, right? Both those stands told me about a British guy asking about me...I wonder if that was you.
That internal cabling conversion kit...
Want it!!!
Wow! The Ridenow bike box is super interesting! Hope to get one!
It's a clever design.
There’s definitely a lot of bike development going on in China that the big brands don’t seem to be doing. Keep up the great work. 😊
Great stuff!👍
i like your coverage of the ZGL dutch bike. a lot of people would just glance over it because it isn't very sporty
Lol😂
Amazing work Joe @ China Cycling!! Super impressive your efforts and content. Thank you!
Thanks Keith!
@@ChinaCycling great to see you knocking out so much content and keeping on top of your game with knowledge of the sport and recreation aspects of cycling. So much to see, do and feel!
Dude! Thank you dude for showing us all of the crazy products! And also thank you for being the bridge of super quality chinese products. Now we can get those in our hands by pandapodium
Thanks for joining in for the ride :D
That coffee van. So much goodness to ponder over and shrink your wallet less than you think.
Thanks for bringing us these videos. I can only imagine how much effort you put into this.
Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to the TCR mods! I’m riding a TCR SL, can wait to convert it internal cabling! Looks really cool!
Thank you for putting a weight weenie edition together
😂 Bross and Cube, I like how you put it! Thank you so much for your news!
It’s funny how the vendor outed themselves.
It’s taboo to publicly out the factory that build frames for other brands. Even though everyone in the industry knows its an open secret.
Haha, everyone is free to draw their own conclusions.
That e-DH trike at the beginning made my heart skip a beat! Never change Shanghai!
It's featured in an upcoming video. Suspension was epic.
I don't mind lighter cassettes just want to be sure it'll shift as crisp as ultegra
nice Durex packaging
Nice. Hope you dabble in mountain bike equipment also.... flatbar handlebars, longer derailleurs, more teeth cogs, etc.
On my long list of things to do!
Great content me old China. Shame I don't need a new bike. I'd defo go Chinese. Some great product.
American here. I now only want products from Chinese companies as they know what everyone wants. Light strong cool looking and all at a reasonable cost.
Welcome to a community of like-minded people. :)
Most surprising- the ZGL commuter bike. With such a relaxed geometry, you'll be riding to work in comfort and style.
I know rite. Looks like the ideal ride.
But you will need a mad skills riding that like Cooper Ray or Safa Brian knowing it has no brakes 😂 All gas no brakes madness
Great job buddy! Im on your mailing list 😉😉
Thanks for signing up!
That Pardus folding bike has a kickstand on right side! Wait...it also tensions chain - smart design!
drilling holes in the steerer seems pretty cavalier
Those light cassettes loot sweet,
Bought some of those Ride now TPU inner tubes they punctured really easy. No use on British roads that are potholed up. The last puncture nearly had me off on a roundabout I was doing 20+ mph and the front deflated really quickly and I nearly came off I've gone back to butyl tubes. They ain't for me I value my life.
I've not ridden on UK holes in years (thankfully!)
Loving the ride now tpu tubes. Been on them since Jan with 0 issues. Really like that lightweight bike box too, clever solution with the wheels. Why anyone still buys expensive soft bags and then complains when their seatstays have been snapped/trodden on....
More info on the TCR parts please...
Will probably do a dedicated video
I love those bike where you cut your seat stem to size. And they you basically change your shoes and the bikes stops fitting.
So that product I showed is a solution to that problem. You gain ~40mm of adjustment.
I want it all👍!
Dig din into that tcr workaround for the cables man ❤
Will the Pardus foldable be available on Pandapodium? Great content again, i could watch this for hours. Big thanks again.
Also in talks with Pardus. My fingers are crossed...they have some great products
@@ChinaCycling That folding bike would be awesome ... at the right price of course.
Had another beautiful ride on my TPU tubes today. I ordered an Elves Falath Evo last week, what do you think of the company?
I like the Elves Vanyar. The Falath Evo I'm not the biggest fan, geometry seems a bit weird (especially in my size) but they have good prices for what you get!
I own an vanyar and i agree 💯 with you 👊🏻
Do you have more info on that fully integrated cable conversion kit that was on the tcr?
Retails for about 40usd, because it's essentially just those two pieces of aluminium. Then you need to bong it in and drill the hole for your brake cables. Need to pair it with a bar / stem combo that lets the cables come out from the inside of the stem.
Just curious if they are going to include this kit for both the OD1 for the non SL TCR as well as the OD2 fork. Also how the conversion deals with the rear brake exit from the steerer inside the frame?
@@ChinaCycling of all the places to DIY drill, the steerer has to be the most perilous
Take a look at the Goldix hubs
Great work as always. As for the Craft wheels, when will the rim brake be available on your site?
I don't think they have a rim brake model for the carbon spokes model. These days disc brake rims are getting lighter than rim brake rims.
Ok, so then will you have a Great set of rim break wheels?
Yea, Windspace, Farsports etc. Will you be catering to the rim brake boys & girls.
That funky horse-riding style bike reminds me of the Hercules Cavallo from the 1980. Pretty crazy old tech, but as the company who manufactured them is/was local here, you see them quite often at local cycling events or shows.
It took a while for my brain to learn how to ride it. The saddle wasn't very forgiving. Thankfully I already have 2 kids.
Those cassette’s are crazy light
I hope ride now fixed the valve issue as ive had a sticking valve and tried to remove but it was so tight it broke the plastic stem😮.
The valves are bonded into the valve stems. But now they have super long stems, so, you should never need to remove a valve core...
@@ChinaCycling I wouldn't normally but the valve wouldn't seat out of the box. Only had the one out if 5 I bought but I did chat to another er guy who had the same valve issue. Might have been a bad few and that was the heavier version
What happened to the Sixwheel TCR products? Did they ever sell the ISP seat mast and fork conversion kits?
It seems like they abandoned the project. :(
@China cycling, are you going to start selling those Otto cassettes or can you point to a website that can sell outside of China?
We will be selling them! Give me a few weeks to test them and make sure they're legit, then we'll list them.
What's the brand name of those cassettes? I'd like to read more. I will order one from pandapodium in the future, after others have tested them 😁
Sixwheel :)
Where can we find this conversion kit. I own à TCR and find external cable so ugly on this perfect bike.
Can anyone PLEASE HELP in sourcing one of those amazing TCR SL seat post toppers. Panda Podium are not able to supply as Sixwheel are apparently abandoning the project. If there's any chance of being able to purchase even one of the prototypes, or testing models I would buy it in a heartbeat - I cannot find any details to contact Sixwheel directly.
Amazing video. Could you write a list of the brands you show us? Especially the cassettes
Cassettes are from Sixweel
Tell Ride Now to bring back removal valve cores.
Balance machine cool...but not with sealant. Tends to settle in various places within the tyre carcass.
Can u share more into for the tcr steerer tube modifications? What is the brand?
Great video thank you.😊🚵♂️
That RideNow box... I want it...
The Giant TCR from the "six wheels" stand??? Can't find anything about them or about the carbon seat clamp ...help??
They don't have any presence in the west yet... coming soon I guess
Do they have a website please?
Where can I find more info about the ZGL track bike? PS, the tyres are on the wrong way on it. The logos should be on the non drive side on track bikes, as they can be ever so slightly slippery 😊
I never knew that about the tires. Not sure where you can find more info
12:43 that wheelset are for gravel bike?
Fantastic stuff especially from pardus. Unfortunately, zero english info for the brand online.
They are pretty low key overseas
Comment obtenir le kit conversion pour les pasage de durite interne sur le giant tcr ?
When do you reccon that the eRX will come out?
I wouldn't buy it yet... not ready for public consumption yet IMHO... lets see how the next batch is. New batch dropping in a few weeks.
Thanks for the video, some awesome products. I'm trying to find a quality track bike frame from china that is UCI approved. That ZGL bike looked the part. Do you know how to get InTouch with them ?
Can I know the name of the internal cable routing kit
China cycling drinking game - Take a drink every time you hear 'super'.
You will die. X_X
Cassete name ?
where can i buy the expansion plug that hide cables
Anyone have a link to those Craft wheels? Would be much appreciated!
For the life of me, I couldn't find anything online from "Autocycle sixth wheel" - Can you give a hint please?
I have a TCR and converting it into hidden cables could be very cool.
Thanks for the video!
Sixwheel cassettes
@@ChinaCycling thank you, Joe!
Hi, how can I buy the topper seatpost for tcr sl on 8:45
😍😍😍😍
Can I ask if you are a relation of Martin Powell - the mushroom expert?
Great video and interesting components! what was the name of the company doing the tcr stuff? cant find m online and would love that internal cable look for mine
Sixweel. Although I asked Peak Torque and he said drillng your steerer tube is a great way to end up in hospital...
Are there any links where to Buy the super light cassettes And the giant isp adapter?
coming to pandapodium.cc soon - not currently available outside of China I think.
That look on her face when you open the box and unroll the 19g tube...
Hahhaa. "What you gonna do with that?!"
Those cassettes are slightly heavier and seemingly a lot more expensive than SRAM XG, so...why would I buy these?! (Living in Spain)
Where can I buy the TCR Conversion kit?
I need that ISP clamp, I bought a TCR ADV SL frame...that came with NO seat clamp. It's been six weeks so far and nothing, anywhere. Could I get a link to buy it?
Will be up on our site soon.
Do you sell the light weight casette ? If not, may I have the contact ? Thanks
We will be selling them. Probably go up on the site in about 2 weeks. I also wanna give one a good testing before I start selling them.
@@ChinaCycling Please let's me know once it is available. Thanks
BROSS is CUBE?
When ridenow will he make a fat bike inner tube (26X4.0+)? There is only one fat bike TPU inner tube on market, and its hard to get, and it pricy.
I asked the same question as I currently have an e-fat bike with 26*4 tires. He says there's not much market, and that there's not a whole lot of point, because the tires are already so heavy, losing a few hundred grams is negligable. I see his point.
@@ChinaCycling Man... Fat bike inner tube 500-800g. And you need 2 of them (+ spare inner tube.). it's freaking 1600 at worst. 10% of fat bike weight, and you need every gramm because it heavy. Why it's important? In snow. you need put lot of power on bike constantly, or you stuck. Its contineus speed up and slowdown.
Tubless are good, but it have tendency to freze and loos air.
You need spare any way, and ist half kilo.
in my book, they don't need some small factor toob, like 24 or 20 inch, its light anyway, and saving literaly nonexistent
@@ChinaCycling I mean, it's not about how much it weight, it's about how much you save
Internal cable conversion kit - also known as “The Hospital Express.”
🤣 I mean, it's not like some of the designs of the brands that come as standard are much better. Countless recalls show that 🙃
8:45 weight weenie carbon bike shown with trash in background...is this coincidence or a message? 🤔
What are the lightest 10 speed Shimano style cassette with the largest ring at around 50t that's available?
The ride now packaging looks like durex
What is the brand of the cassette
Sixweel
They have website to check products
They have website?
Whats the name of the cassette company?
Sixwheel
I'd be all for Chinese cassettes but it seems they don't shift as well as the big brands. Get can't enough of shimano's hyperglide+
I think some of it is Shimano's patents on the design of the ramps on the cogs.
@@ChinaCycling can provide a link to these cassettes? Or a website? Thanks.
Where can I purchase sixwheel products from currently? specifically the internal conversion sleave?
China. Wait a few weeks and they'll be on our site.
@china cycling do you have a link to a Chinese site? I have a colleague in China soon who can bring it home with him.
I've been thinking of ways to hide the brake hoses on my aethos, I hope that conversion kit provides the solution I need
That kit is OD2, but I'm sure an OD1 version must exist... But, drilling your steerer tube isn't the brightest idea in the world. (I'd probably risk it though...)
so is bross owned by cube or how does it work?
Bross is the factory making carbon frame for cube in China
I've only heard rumours, and I don't wanna put fake rumours out if I'm not sure. But you can speculate.
やっぱり CUBE てっ中華カーボンなんだな。🤔
Where can i buy those isp plug?
Coming to pandapodium.cc soon!

I thinking you an Luke (tracevelo) should go into business 😂
name of the bike at 4:07?
They just told me it was iheir "New Evo" But I don't think that's the full name.
I has ridenow tube and this bullshit )
After 30days got infinite micro punctures i cant fix it
1:10 looks like they got their packet inspiration from Durex Condoms, not even joking.
China is making impressive leap and cycling tech too....that said, after watching this I'm going out to ride my steel frame fixed gear bike without proprietary parts.
I think PeakTorque would have a lot to say about that TCR seatpost clamp hahaha
It looks a neat solution as it has allowance for tolerance, which on the tcr ISP OD is loose as a goose. However, by expanding on the inside, which isn't always uniform carbon (rinkles, ridges etc) it could end up out of line once expanded, meaning the saddle angle may be slightly off. Looks like you can only tighten the expander from the top when the saddle is off too.
And about drilling hole in a steerer tube.
@@PetrCívela i think he made his thought quite clear, If I'm not mistaken "I dont want holes drilled on my steerer tube, thank you very much bike industry" was what he said LMAO
@@donoldduckben we're talking about the ISP here
@@PeakTorque copy, but for the steerer tube thingy... wouldn't you need to drill two holes (the hole where the front and rear brake enters, and then a second hole where the rear brake exits the steerer tube... but the product has no reinforced section there... if they just extended the length of the inner cup it could be long enough to reinforce both holes). Or am I off basis?
ZGL 純中華フレームもうちょっと見たかったでござる。
You should try and strike up a deal with SEKA as they've canceled their partnership with cycling100 due to terrrible service from C100's side
We're in talks. :)
