Created first and foremost as a way to have Rack as a conventional open-source audio plugin.

Cardinal does not load any external modules, everything is built-in.

Wow😮Leo. Thank you for this getting started tutorial & for letting us all know about this FREE VCVRACK synth. It’s sooo very nice that it is available for WIN/PC & MAC. AudioUnit/CLAP/LV2/VST2/VST3 plugin formats and as a standalone app for FreeBSD, Linux, macOS, Windows and the Web. I have found that many of the FREE synths like this and others are only available for WIN/PC. So, the availability/compatibility of this particular one is simply Incredible! 🎉😊 Thanks again =) 🎉

Very unlikely. The Rack UI is not suitable for touchscreens.
