I also take the Sony FX3, but recently I took the DJI osmo pocket 3 for travelling, become it is so tiny and lightweight... it is the perfect vlogging camera in my opinion. You should give it a try.
I borrowed a FX3 for a month and bought A7iv in the end. For me it was the price point (and sometimes the view finder :D) but also not being a professional when it comes to filming. From picture quality, I don't see a difference, but you can clearly see that the FX3 is for the professional users. It can run all day with its fan and that is something I am not sure if I would like to do that with my A7IV, it gets a bit hot :D But the FX3 is a fantastic camera and very fun to work with. It was a hard decision. It is totally amazing what you can buy today for still a lot of money, but affordable for a lot of people.
Been eyeing FX3 for a long time, is travelling with it to Europe with only 24,58,85mm enough? I feel like I still need to bring a telephoto zoom haha 🤣
I often travel with a 24-70mm and a 16-35mm. The Sony PZ 16-35mm f4 is super light and an awesome lens, but the 24-70 is an all around great lens I don’t go anywhere without. What’s your go to travel lens?
Hey travelers! Let me know what CINEMA camera you're bringing on trips?!
I subscrbed

I’d never bring a body and lens that big and exists for travel. Wild
So nice work..!!
You inspired me..!

I think you’d be great with those lenses! I primarily use my 24-70 and then my 16-35 when I’m doing more vlogging stuff!
Do you recommend any compact tiny lense to carry with this camera for just travel photography?
Yes! The Sony 16-35mm f4 PZ is my go to, it’s sooo incredibly small. There is also the Tamron 17-28 f2.8 if you need some more light.
I'm not sure why you have to dump on the BMPCC 4K to have appreciation for the FX3?
For travel it just isn’t a conducive cinema camera, for me. Maybe for you it is! If so, tell me how you love to use it?!
Everything about this being a compact travel camera is wrong.
compact travel CINEMA camera
it is pretty much a compact form factor. her lens choice was a bit big, but that camera body is small by all means
