What about the quality? I had XT3 a few years ago and I just didn’t like the colors or the image quality compared to my canon full frame mirrorless. The ricoh is looking really good, especially for the size and aPS C sensor.

Lens only seems to be autofocus on Nikon and Sony. Still a very cool lens though. I got a used Canon RF version with 14 aperture blades, which is completely manual with no autofocus or autoaperture, but still a unique lens, and a lot of fun. I especially like its close focus capability.

Thank you for your very helpful review on the RM2 and the pro. As I need something for calendar and meetings for my job the RM2 seems to be the better option. Especially with it being smaller, an easier to carry.

I literally take like two non drowsy Dramamine pills before a flight still feel like I’m spinning in circles on the take off but feel okay when it settles. I do think it has prevented me from puking.

Little oversight on the focusing on the ricoh. You can select centre priory focus. You can tap the screen and camera will focus only where you tapped. Can move the focus point around the screen. Also auto focus continuous.

This helped sooo much. I can’t stand the suction feel on my original pros so definitely gonna give the 4 a try. I’ve got over ear headphones for when I fly already so don’t mind losing a bit of noise cancellation for actual comfort.

i love my paper pro. I don't need the color but it has been useful a few times when taking notes for grad school. The extra screen space is really nice too. My only complaint is the change to the stylus - the nibs wear down faster so I need to change them more often, they're proprietary so I can't get cheaper nibs, and they're larger so it's taken some adjustments to write smaller details. The frontlight also has a lot of bleed around the edges which is annoying. If they made an RM3 with a faster processor, wacom tech and frontlight, I'd probably buy that and sell this. The RMPP is great, but not exactly what I needed.

Great combo - I also have both those and love them BUT........and it's potentially a BIG BUT, neither has any kind of weather or dust sealing sadly. The GR3 is well known as a bit of a dust magnet and the Pocket 3 is high risk in wet or mucky conditions as well. It's the main reason I'm thinking of adding the Action 4 so I can head down to a wet and windy beach, or up a wet mountain or a hike in changeable weather etc.

In my mind this luggage is meant for the minimalist traveler. Someone who doesn’t want to lug around a backpack in the airport. I think the front media pocket is for quick access to remove the electronics at the TSA scanners. I would keep one of those string backpacks in the same sleeve so that I can transfer the laptop/ipad from the luggage to the string backpack when I get to the gate just before boarding the flight. That way the electronics I use on the flight are under the front seat and the luggage goes in the overhead.

Their screens are still too dark to read comfortably without any external light source.

Ricoh all the way for me, I'm buying a GR IIIx soon. My main concern is size. I currently have a Sony a6400 with a few lenses, and it's really great, but I do find that despite it being small compared to other cameras it is still a little too big to be an everyday carry camera. I'll absolutely still be using it for when I need a specific type of lens, or fast auto focus, fast burst speed etc. but I really want something that is literally no hassle at all to bring with me when I go out even if I don't want to wear a bag. As someone who is primarily interested in street photography and has problems with anxiety, I think that trying a super small stealthy camera may be beneficial to me.

I agree, it takes important inside room for a pocket that cannot be used except to stuff a few sheets of paper. I travelled 42 times since l have it, and this is not my favorite carry-on. It is robust though

Can the devices be used with pens that aren't connected/installed to them? Or is that the reason you can't use the pens both devices? I mean you did have to install the pen to use it. And we didn't see you install the RM2 pen on the Pro and vice versa.

did you return it? the RMPP was my least well considered purchase all year, and I handed it to DHL today. The drab gray screen, the low contrast, the anemic front light, the color flashes and performance degradation, the weight and heft, all of it.

I think the front pocket is useful. Quick access to little things instead of opening the whole suitcase.

I have to buy some AirPods so some recommendations? Idk about the 4 with noise cancellation vs the 2 pro because the 4 cancellation I heard it’s not as good as the 2 pro and the 2 pro has the silicone tips so I heard it’s uncomfortable but I want some comfortable with great noise cancellation so which to buy?

I agree 100%. Wish I would have bought the other one without the pocket. It takes up space and lately TSA has not even asked for. lap tops to be out, thought it would make that faster but over all, anything I need that fast is on my back pack. Huge. mistake in buying this thing, The bag itself is great however.
