Innocent until proven guilty is about court, not about encounters with law enforcement.

But it doesn't preclude them from arresting him and holding him for some time. However, they must have probable cause to arrest if there is no arrest warrant.

Cuffs would 100% fit that guy. I've never had an issue putting cuffs on someone's wrists. The only issue is when arrestees are super fat and you need two pairs so they can can connect behind the back. Additionally, plain old zip ties would NEVER be used. Flex cuffs would be used and no one besides pregnant women or disabled people are ever handcuffed in the front.
If you zip tie his fingers together, he can’t break them without breaking his fingers. Never zip tie the wrists, at least in the front 😅

5th amendment doesn't mean you are guilty it means you don't give them anything to twist the meaning. Most people being polite can't keep from talking to their detriment. Police will hide evidence exhonerating you if they are convinced you are guilty. He doesn't harm anyone unless necessary because he has a pure heart, the young man is a good man 💫💫👍
Impressive. Not just character-wise, but cinematography-wise. Says a lot about his character that although he is 6'6" and built like a giant that could easily rip these guys in half(apparently he breaks the zip-tie apart in a later scene in the movie/show according to another commenter) he never does anything mean or rude outside of not responding(which can easily be explained away by him exercising his 5th amendment rights and by another thing I'll talk about in a second). The scene also shows each of the characters personalities even when our main guy is completely silent for the entirety of the scene. The two policemen escorting the man are just people who want to get this guy locked in jail no matter how it needs to be done (as long as they don't forfeit their job in the process), the man goes through the actions without talking due to having no need to do so whilst also being curious about what is happening, and the lady is just as curious about the man and is trying to get the situation under control without losing her cool. They also provide subtle details in the shots too like the woman taking the guy's fingerprints as evidence, the guy having a zip-tie instead of handcuffs due to handcuffs not fitting his massive wrists, and probably the most impressive thing for me in the scene which is the guy's WWII badge. The fact that it's a WWII badge from the French is another explanation for the guy's lack of speech as he doesn't understand what the police officers are saying and they show why the woman knows that the badge is a French WWII badge due to serving in the United States combat division(or whatever it is as I've always gotten confused about all of the branches of the US military/army despite living in the US myself) as indicated by the picture on the wall. Definitely a very good scene that probably is meant to set-up the whole thing.
