Its a heavy blow to the learning of the game the instant you download and start playing, and tell players that boots are very important and should most of the time be bought first over other items. The tutorial has been so bad for so long that its pretty embarrassing
Actually I think they could keep doing it, but it should definitely be clear from the get go that meditation is only recommended early because it's to get the user used to things like mana costs which new players struggle with. I knew when I was very early into the game I'd think that if I wanna kill some1 I need to use all my abilities at once and that I should use them the moment they come up. If you took a new player into conquest with this mentality they'd be out of the action so often, they'll be frustrated that the mana restricts then and that they might be spending more time either with no mana, vulnerable, or running back to base and back to lane like what some players hate in battlefield when every1 takes the vehicles and no1 gives you a ride.
It's always the guy without boots who rushes in then can't escape because he was so slow then dies and proceeds to spam help help help you rock cancel that *pings everywhere on the map*

Of all the games I've played, Smite is where I almost quit as a beginner. Normally as a beginner, I'll enjoy other games (exploring stuff..etc.), but Smite is really complex for me.
I love smite the thing is I hate about smite is queue up to battle because it takes very long time to queue up or all the time it says need more time to queue & this game it’s makes me frustrated sometimes but I really love this game? 😁❤️👍
My advice : Pick Loki. He is the only God with 2 passives. More damage from behind and when you go invisible all players simultaneously lose trust in their surroundings
@SMITE Apologies if this isn't the best place for this question, but there seems to be few other ways to ask: I recently purchased a new computer and I need to reinstall Smite. Unfortunately, it seems it's only available on Steam now. If I install it using Steam, can I pick up where I left off? Should I delete the other Hirezstudios files first?

Random connection loses and then I'm thrown back at the loading screen when I load again then this lag and frame skip starts to happen better fix this else game is unplayable
Happened to me. Except 10 minutes into the game after I manage to log in, find out enemy ullr has killed you 14 times in the fountain as an afk, giving him 8 pentas
You guys left out the part where if your still kinda new and learned about all you can from playing against bots and are only just starting out in online and try to play joust to early your team will abandon you and force you to take on the entire enemy team alone.
@@jodyboles8208 they are bad gamemodes to start with since GPS is increased alot, getting you to item trees faster and lvl up faster since xp/s is faster. You wont learn your gods actual potential like this. When you decide to play conquest you will get destroyed if you have arena and Joust as your guides.
@@BloodBrotherTV they arent bad game modes at all. every game mode clearly has learning curves and of course you wont know everything from playing arena or joust but thats not the point. its just something for new players to start with to ease them into the game since conq can be pretty overwhelming at first. youll get destroyed regardless once you start conq and thats normal but at least youll have some idea of how the game works from playing other modes and then continue to build on from it by playing conq more.
I think the first thing newer players need to learn is God's abilities. Other game modes focus on fighting more than strategy, unlike conquest. Conquest is likr learning 2 games at once
I'm playing on the switch. When I try to make a custom build, I press A on the empty space to of course add an item, but nothing happens. Can't find a solution anywhere??
Auto building is horrible just ask a friend or player online with a decent rank to give you a build. Which you can build before the match on the god's item tab. Then put on auto build and it will build whatever you put there. auto skill is ok for the beginning, i just like leveling myself for situations that may come up early game.
I’m new to smite it seems pretty self explanatory but I am really confused on how to upgrade my gods to make them stronger, I have run mages and guardians but I do barely any damage. Yet there are other people that can destroy me within seconds. Please someone help

I don't like any moba other than Smite and i think i'm not the only one, so please do something about the f6 players, work on the reports made by players and improve your marketing, Smite has everything to be at least, a top 2 moba
Would've been better if the recommendations for which modes to start with were Joust first, Siege second, and finally Clash before going on to Conquest. Playing Arena first only leads to bad habits such as chasing kills and not peeling for the team at all.

I used mediation every game when I first started, I actually did well with it lol.
