This take on Set is really cool. I can imagine some seeing him as a sort of anti Hero. I love the line where he says they were slaves and the one where he says he'll show the world their potential.
@@AgentZ46 It's kind of the original take he was demonized latter but initially he wasn't considered evil but rather an important deity. Then the egyptians were invaded and people weren't so found of the god of foreigners.

Set and anubis aren't related anubis is just the god of the undead while set and horous is a descendents of ra if im correct
@@lssjgoku299 In Smites Lore I believe anubis is actually Set's son. He speaks to him as such in a directed taunt after killing him.
K1ng.G0ku Anubis is his sets son to some degree, Set couldn’t directly have kids. So his wife Nephytus( something like that) transformed herself to look like isis so Osiris would bang her thinking it was isis. And then they had Anubis.

Set is my favorite out the Egyptian Gods. i think he needs his very own Videogame. It would also be somewhat of a mixture between God Of War and Shadow of Mordor. These were some of my ideas for a Set game.

so i stop playing smite like 2 years ago, and i've been playing 3 or 4 years at this game and waiting those 4 years for Set and Horus, and now, those 2 gods appears in the same week ...
Every time she says “spawn of set” or “spawn” take a shot
Instead of Horus being his only 'Nemesis', Set should get a random Nemesis each game for his passive.

"Everything is easy"? What are you talking about. There are a good handful of gods that are incredibly difficult to really figure out, let alone master.
@@aForkfulOfGold This game is so simple, moba on an xbox controller heavily limits variety and complexity. Every character can be learned in about 45s and after 10m you have them 90% figured out. Go play a game like Dota where it actually takes more than 3 minutes to learn every character in the game. Smite is so easy I stopped playing it cause it is so boring

2 animations are pretty neat to have with these reveal video.
3 I got to say i hope the Old lore is getting back, as to talk more about them and get more in depth about the god, so that we get a clear idea of who we are playing.
4 im saying all this since i love smite, and i think its so special and i always enjoy these reveals no matter if im having a break from the game or not, and i know that there are people like my girlfriend who enjoy the game because of the special neat of it being a game about gods and she likes to get an idea of who the god are before wanting to try and play them.

Although I'm a console player, when I played on PC aiming was easier.

Except Azir at home is cool
So Set is litteraly Smite's version of Azir from League of Legends. Set's passive is Azir's E passive (bonus atk speed). Set's 1st ability is the same as Azir's Q (though Azir can only use it with a sand soldier), they both send a clone to the targeted location and slow any enemies hit. Set's 2nd ability is the same as Azir's W, they both create a sand clone/soldier that they can interact with. Set's 3rd ability teleportation is similar to Azir's E (though Azir gains a shield and can cast it while also using his Q, Set deals damage around him and his clones and blinds his enemies), they both are teleported to the targeted clone/soldier.

@@user-ve9tu5rv6e lol Inaros is a character from Warframe and he and Set have vaguely similar abilities and designs as Inaros was themed after Egyptian concepts...most notably the sand minions made me think Inaros :p

Lore Lady should've been the voice of Alexa, iPhone, Google, Bixby and all the other electronics that talk back to you. Even the GPSs would be perfect.
I only needed to see his first ability to predict the others. I knew it was gonna basically be Azir.

No he isn’t, he actually fought off against the more closer Satan analogy in Egyptian Mythology,Apep and he was actually less evil in it before he was demonized when the Horus cult gained more popularity in Egypt and when invaders who associated with Set came to Egypt and caused problems.

THIS video didn't show me anything new. Those things i would figure out in a while when i open game and check and in jungle practice mode - lore, abilities and looks of Seth. I didn't watch video to waste my time on story i already know from Horus video. Story said by "random person" (character's voice actor?) and not by LORE Lady.
There was nothing entertaining in this 3 minutes. Just Riot being like "Look we made new character connected to another new character come and check it out!"
It didn't answer any of my questions like:
- is he jungler or solo laner?
- building for autoattacks or abilities?
- playstyle
- combos
- synergies
and it added more confusion..
i just saw two melee Gods in mid lane and one of them was fighting like a bot - twice

EXACTLY this is only REVEAL. When it use to be: god reveal, lore reveal and simplest guide in one video.. i miss those.
In League of Legends they make 3 basic videos for new characters and they show everything "on paper" TWICE to you know everything before champion is out +TONS of story before you can play new champion. So when champion is out you already know everything you need to know to play them and have fun.
I wish Hirez would do THE SAME /\ instead of showing me new weird skins that will cause confusion if won't check every single ability VFX in every skin in every patch
It would be dope if Set and Horus couldn't be on the same team because of their story.
