This is one of those books that after you finish reading it you have to immediately wonder how it has not yet been adapted into a HBO or Netflix limited series. All the pieces seem there for a very solid 8-10 episode series at about an hour runtime for each one.
I seriously disliked the lack of progression in the madness. The Deadpools and the Pirates… ridiculous. The rest of the groups made sense, and the Moles felt right, but without the proper progression of insanity I felt the book was just unbelievable.
It definitely needed way more build up. I'm stunned it all happened so fast, even though they were there for weeks. They had enough time to build up the decline.
I stopped reading the book after 3 chapters. From the book cover we knew what had happened so why start the book with a long dull re-cap. Open the story in FantasicticLand and drop in the back story as you go along. Don't waste my time with boring exposition.

I completely agree! It'd be a fantastic series.
I need to get to this one soon! I hear great things about it!
It's definitely a fun one!

I always have intentions to read more on vacations BUT it rarely happens!!! Spending time with family and our kids is worth the time though!!
Ikr?! I always try to read on trips and rarely ever do!
