Honestly, yeah. Im sure Guts would feel honor that someone he didnt know respect and understand his rage would fights demons for his soul safety would give him a bit peace.
@its_sisha_not_chair505 A whole lot of things would change. Since one, Guts wouldn't have met the mercenary group, so he wouldn't know them even if they go through the same events. But Guts would be enlisted as a knight for Dimitri country and assuming this happen during the war, he would have been on the Front lines as one of his best soldiers. And if this after the war, then Guts would have been joining Dimitri during the hunt against TWSITD(Those who Slither in the Dark) as assuming Hapi would have inform Dimitri of their existence and what they did. Guts wouldn't have demons chasing him at all and be a 'normal' soldier under a King who is Mad, but kind.
I can imagine Goro vs Machamp being like that if Goro won. Because of Goro’s honor and he will show respect to those he deems worthy. He’d probably give Machamp his respect for the fight he put up and respect even more that he fought, faced death and died like a warrior.
If anything, the broken weapon gives the Demons a chance to run... If he still had a weapon, there is no stopping this man from killing every last one of them.
@@StompigatesYT He can probably do something to them, not sure if he can win, but his unaugmented ancestors killed divine dragons which are the basically the tier below gods in fire emblems lore.
That’s what softened the blow for me too. As much as I wanted to see Guts victorious, I am glad that even after that battle, Dimitri is a good enough lad to keep Guts safe from the demons after him. He gonna win!
"so we're both shackled to the dead. You foul beasts will not have his soul!" I might've been a little salty about Guts dying, but seeing that was honestly seriously wholesome.
ok but hearing Dimitris feats. the fact guts(who's literally just a man) could even get do as much damage as he did to a person that's blessed by gods is quite impressive. Guts has literally every god probably rooting for his death.
"To each of us falls a task. And all the emperor requires of us Guardsmen is that we stand the line, and we die fighting. It is what we do best. We die standing." - General Sturnn in Dawn of War: Winter Assault. I can't think of any other quote that better honor and exalts the name of guts. next best thing that this gallant Übermensch rightfully deserves is if the god-emperor of man himself were to deify guts as *THE* patron saint of the guard right next to Ollanius Pius
I know nothing about fire emblem, but that boy Dimitri gained my respect. Jumped into action to save Guts soul, without even knowing the guy, quite honorable.
@@vortiger7375Yes - Dmitri can actually tank demons of similar power and size to Zodd in Fire Emblem. He even managed to kill his version of Griffeth.
They've made a habit of actually counting that stuff. Even back in Robocop vs Terminator, the made sure RoboCop's firearm used exactly 50 rounds. It's a small detail, but if a few people notice it then they did their job well.
One thing I loved about this fight is that Dimitri used Areadbhar 20 times on screen, and in FE3H, the max use count before repairing is 20 uses! Then Guts breaks it! So amazing, love the work you guys put into these fights
You know, this was probably the coolest end to a Death Battle. One dies on his feet, and the other has enough respect for him to fight on his behalf. That's just really cool.
I can imagine Goro vs Machamp being like that if Goro won. He’d probably give Machamp his respect for the fight he put up and he died like a true warrior.
Even cooler as a tribute if you think about how the pose mirrors his dueling moment with Griffith, even including the part about breaking his foe's weapon before stopping his swing.
Sword held middle. Sorry; fencing joke. That stance is middle guard/plow. High guard is held about the head. Yes, yes, if you have to explain the joke....
@@T.Gundham also, dunno which death battle you watched, but one was sliced to ribbons, one beheaded and then skull crushed. i mean fighters rarely left intact after their loss and those were not good example to add to the pool. even aang vs edward was messy
I don't know what I'm more surprised by. The first FE character in death battle being Dimitri instead of someone like Marth Ike or Lucina. Or the fact that Dimitri actually managed to win and defeat Guts. I was sure he was going to lose
To be fair, Dimitri has the most stated strength feats of any lord so far, and FE has been hard to scale. As for beating Guts, he definitely had the tools to do so.
@paperluigi6132 skils kinda aren't really cannon feats though outside of things like the jugdral sword skills and aether And Even then, they're just special/finishing moves
Honestly, I think that giving him access to Swordbreaker helped a lot. I wasn't sure whether they'd add it or not, but it does make sense since the lance line of combat is Dimitri's most common path thanks to Areadbhar. Also hey @paperluigi6132
That’s why he is my absolute favorite from any fictional genre. He the definition of a true king. Immensely powerful, passionate and humble. It’s hard not to like the guy once you learn about him.
I can imagine Goro vs Machamp being like that if Goro won. Because of Goro’s honor and will give respect to those he seems worthy. He’d probably give Machamp his respect for the fight he put up and respect even more that he fought, faced death and died like a warrior. I know it’s not heroic, but shows respect in death.
The dude's got no magical skills, but is able to stand his ground against demons that can cast fking magic. Guts is a beast in a weight class of his own.
technically there's items in fire emblem that can bring someone back as long as they have a soul, like the goddess staff. So if dimitri does indeed protect his soul, guts could come back.
Agreed, they both lost many comrades who were dear to them and stop at nothing in order to avenge them, so of course Dimitri relates to Guts and respects him since they pretty much 2 threads in the same stitch
@@gameuniverse5973Dimitri would get murdered with ease by zodd or the god hand. Griffith only keep guts alive cuz he loves him, în his twisted and disgusting way. And he enjoys seeing guts suffering. Meanwhile griffith has no connection with Dimitri, he would instantly kill him with ease.
I was really rooting for Guts to pull through, but this is possibly the best way he could've gone out, and it's heartening to see Dimitri face down the demons afterwards.
@Z3rGz basically as I've come to understand it, the symbol attracts demons to claim his soul, and starts bleeding whenever there's demons nearby, so when Guts stood still there was a shadow behind him, which was a demon. Which Dimitri realized and chose to defend Gut's body from As for him standing still it could just be the berserker armor giving him that one last stand before ultimately dying
Considering what all of them had been through in canon, especially the more battle scarred, both physically and mentally ones, yeah they definitely need it,though at least they are complete badasses who will not stop fighting, till the end of them, even at the ends of times, even well beyond the grave.
That ending made me tear up. Honestly, Guts should've met someone like Dimitri instead of Griffith. Dimitri don't even know Guts but are willing to protect his soul from demons out of respect and compassion. Dimitri won
Only Guts could take on somebody several times stronger than himself, give that opponent the fight of their life, get first blood, and even while dead make the one who killed him fear for their life. If Guts had to lose to anybody, there couldn't be a better end. Other than killing Griffith in the process, of course.
Ever since the eclipse Guts fought beings several times stornger than him. Surviving him isnt possible with just being stornger than Guts few times. To take on Guts and live is quite a feat, maybe as impressive as taking a nuke.
Honestly, can we all just appreciate that they gave us a better 3D Guts and dragon slayer sound effect than Berzerk 2016-17? Also, I love the respect Dimitri gave at the end
It’s my personal head cannon that in Guts last breath as his sword was falling towards Dimitris head he had a moment of clarity and choose to use the last of his strength to hold his sword thus sparing Dimitris life, being a man who killed thousands Gut’s final act was to spare a man
Makes Dimitiri’s new goal to save Guts’s soul all the better. An act of kindness from a man no used to such being paid back by another man not used to kindness.
I could definitely get behind that. If he had just died mid-swing, the momentum would’ve carried the sword on its path. He HAD to have made the choice to stop the blade. I like it 👍🏻
I wonder if that means that Guts' Rage will be a voice in his mind now. Imagine the presence that could be offered as Dimitri can tap into even more Berserker rage, amped by Guts' psychosis.
My favorite part about the fight is how both of them get so bloody and messed up. In most death battles, the fighters usually don't have any visual damage to them until the final blow. However, in this fight you can see both Guts and Dimitri get absolutely f**ked up. It shows how neither of them is invincible and feels every bit of pain, only pushing through it because they need to keep fighting on until only one of them is left standing. (Well, technically both of them were standing at the end) It's such an amazing detail and also the reason why I like these more low power level fights rather than seeing two universe busters throw each other around planets and stuff. Props to everyone who worked on this episode. It's probably the best one ever!
Yeah that's great Part of me wishes they was more detail to the damage, like one of them loses a few fingers for example. But that's more of a nitpick than anything else, and what was shown in the fight is still pretty great.
Even in death, Guts stands strong and Dimitri honours him by protecting his soul from demons. What a beautiful moment that perfectly sums up both characters.
@@SkyDragon1997 You can't be for real mate, if we aren't allowed to talk about the contents of the video, what are we allowed to do? Don't scroll down to the comments before finishing the video.
People forget that the berserk armor only keeps guts alive, and it only keeps him alive if guts has blood. Meaning that by the end of this death Battle guts literally ran out of all the blood in his body.
the "fight until the last drop of blood" doesn't mean the armor run using guts's blood, it means that it would work until the last bit of life has been used, refusing to acknowledge any damage, more like a puppet being forced to dance until it gets completely broken. what is even darker. it means guts's body was literally too destroyed to keep working
@@pandemiastyle-zr6mb That's one thing I never really got about the armor. I can see how it can use the spikes to hold broken bones together, but I don't think metal spikes are a great solution to a broken artery or damaged organs.
Why would fire emblem's weapon triangle apply to Guts? Guts has shown time and time again his swordsmanship is simply better then masters of more abstract weapons like chakrams or whips. Guts can also take on hundreds of troops solo. I will admit Demitri took this fight when someone plays through Fire Emblem three house's as Demitri versus 100 units on his own.
@@jamesmacklin1495 well you see the weapon triangle is like rock paper scissors. Swords beat Axes, Axes beat Lances, and most important for this Lances beat Swords. Therefore Dimitri would have an extra hit % and attack power against Guts.
@@colemando0012 Actually, it's present in the various "breaker" skills, which actually makes it *less* ambiguous than usual. It's no longer simply a matter of how things work in the world, it's actual training that Dmitri has received.
Not gonna lie, the ending was kinda wholesome. Even though he just fought to the death with someone, Dimitri still wasn't going to let demons claim his soul.
Just like the spotlight episodes shining the light on each of the two separately, they’ve had their fair share of tragedies throughout their life. They’ve lost a lot and can lose even more. And as a Dimitri fan, i’m glad he was paired with a relatable opponent than I ever thought possible

It saddened me to see Guts loose, but him dying standing up while still trying to kill Dimitri gave me chills... I am a Berserk fan and this Death Battle is beyond amazing. I especially loved how Dimitri honored Guts by fighting the Demons on his behalf. Best Death Battle ever. Edit: Wow. Over 400 likes? I am beyond flattered. Thank you to all those amazing people!!!!
He is very noble in the game, his best friend describes why she become some mad saying “he has so much compassion to the people around him that he doesn’t forgive himself if they die” that is why he is so obsessed with death
is there a completely okay with Dimitri I was kind of expecting a little bit of saltiness for Guts lost against to someone who doesn't fight big Monsters everyday as well as basically like the most strongest person you can't defeat
Dimitri is forced to fight an opponent he has no desire to fight, and vows to avenge his death by slaughtering his literal demons controlling him. Holy crap that is badass.
Guts died while standing, badass. Dimitri respected Guts and hunts down the demons to avenge Guts even more badass. Also how great is the fight, animation, and music! One of the best this season!
Well it's frustrating to say the least because Berserk isn't even finished yet. Griffith has only revealed some of his abilities so there is a lot of unfinished business for the manga. If Guts has to fight Griffith he would need to be stronger.
DeathBattle inspires me.. My parents said if i get 40K followers They'd buy me a professional camera for recording..begging u guys , literally Begging...
They were so similar one could think they're the same in mind. Tormented by different things, yet caused same pain, it was kind of deal where neither would step back but could definitely understand other's pain.
Technically speaking, Guts is one of the characters that came closest to killing his opponent in the animation, he only lacked a few more drops of blood on his body to do so.
The only reason why guts lost is he ran out of blood. Also the Berserk armor isn't really meant for protecting the user, it's meant to keep the wearer alive after suffering fatal injuries and to suppress the pain caused by said injuries
That doesn't really work when you remove game mechanic... or at least not always... especially when spearman is swinging it around widely instead of a tight and controlled combat techniques.

This DEATH BATTLE is dedicated to the memory of Kentaro Miura, the creator of Berserk. He passed away nearly a year before this episode was completed, may his soul finally be freed in peace and badassery.
Magneto vs Akira and Demon Slayer vs JoJo, Those two had very similar endings. Magneto I think is the best but Dimitri definitely scaled to that level of badass.
So I've heard Dimitri spends all 20 points of durability in the animation so I'll try to count how many times he attacks with his spear or glaive or whatever Areadbhar is. Ignoring the intro and I'll presume attacks blocked with the weapon don't spend durability (ironically enough) And neither do attacks that whiff so 15:17 and similar situations are ignored. subtract 1 (15:20) Tempest Lance so subtract 5 (15:24) subtract 1 (15:44) subtract 1 (15:54) subtract 1 (16:05) Frozen Lance so subtract 4 (16:12) Frame by frame counts 6 clashes for (16:57) and my ears count about 2 more offscreen subtract 1 (17:02) subtract 1 (17:09) Atrocity so subtract 4 (17:19) So if you count the Clash Rush as one turn of attacking then the math checks out. Well Done.
You can in fact upgrade Areadbhar to 570 durability (after being unleashed) in Three Hopes, but also in that game only combat arts and magic (if he's in Holy/Dark Knight, e.g. for class mastery or healing utility) can deplete durability, so the durability system is very different there!
My first thought was "Shoulda been Ike, everyone agrees that he looks like Guts, especially in Radiant Dawn"..... but then it occurred to me.... both Guts and Dimitri are missing an eye, and have a bloodlust towards a silver haired character who is willing to become a demon to meet their goal and is associated with a bird of prey... yeah this was a great match up.
@rollthedyce7578 Yeah Ike is pretty much canon in every FE game as the strongest MF to ever do it. Alot of people forget cause he's so humble about it lol
Ike is pretty weak, no idea why people keep hyping it up. His best feat is being borrowed the power of a godess for a second (second hand power ups are banned on death battle). He is a very skilled swordman, but he is barely above peak human.
@@rifasclub so did ashnard and he beat him. He's also been confirmed to be at minimum one of the strongest lords, so he's comparable to them as well. Yall really need to stop being so negative with fe Even ifi were to cut the effort between Ike and yune in half (which is very fair as it was his attack that beat her), that'd still make him very powerful
Damn this is the first time someone died in a badass way in death battle. Like who else died while standing up as they try to give the finishing blow. Even the winner tries to honor the opponent's death. Respect for both combatants.
I know nothing about Berserk, but know a lot about fire emblem 3 houses, and Dimitri is my favorite character for being unyielding and relentless towards his haunted self, so I was rooting for Dimitri. But after watching Gut’s analysis I was thinking “Oh, Guts will win this for sure 😔” but damn…. I’m glad I stuck it out. And I’m glad to see Dimitri show respect to Guts by carrying on his purpose 🫡
I was not expecting this outcome, but I love it. Dimitri grabbing his broken sword and fighting demons to save Guts' souls after he fell was heartwarming and absolutely in character. I always love when Death Battle has these touching endings.
I also wanna add that the final shot of guts standing, dead, against the moon was a lovely tribute. I may not have read Beserek, but I know the manga writer created something that resonates with a lot of guys going through mental health issues. The final shot of this battle being Guts standing in defiance, even in death, is so fitting. I'm struggling to put my thoughts into words here but I think bringing up the shot of Dimitri walking past Guts to fight the demons could almost be seen as maybe a passing of the torch? I'm not sure if Dimitri the character was inspired by Guts at all, but there's little denying that they both stand as rare, yet refreshing, looks at men struggling with mental health. Whatever's the case, it shows a ton of respect to both characters.
@fishyboi98 Couldn't agree more. I love replies that appreciate the work these guys do, rather than flame them cause "the research was flawed" or "this character should have won".
@@fishyboi98 Yeah even the arena they fight is a direct reference when Guts fight With Griffith. Need to reiterate that the berserker armor will keep Guts going until he is OUT OF BLOOD. Meaning that even with all the blood expunged from his body he still had the willpower to swing his sword one last time.
@@Sosa_D_Roger It as spaghettimaster9368 said, the berserker armor when in use drains Guts of his blood. Think Ryuko from Kill la Kill (with her armor also draining her blood) but more on life and death for him than her just collapsing because of blood loss for her. The Death battle crew also states this in Gut's abilities run-through that yes until he is completely out of blood, the berserker armor would keep him fighting until that happens. Sorry for the nerding out Sosa.
If you know anything about voice of Boomstick, Chad James you know he’s a huge Berserk fan and loves Guts so seeing him die must’ve broke his heart, you can tell he was pained by the end.
Cant wait to see Dimitri get away with a 20% Hit and dodge boost from Swordbreaker for having weapon triangle advantage over guts Edit: and to see the lance break at the end was a chefs kiss
So I have a wierd take on this...Guts has a general reputation of being an absurdly tough SOB, right? Well seeing his capabilities be more fully explained, his limits addressed, and him actually losing this match up...almost makes me relate to the character more. It's easy to forget that with all the crazy stuff Guts deals with, at the end of the day he's still a mortal man! Also I like that we're continuing the respectful death trend as also seen in Vader Vs Obito.
There's also Tetsuo vs Magneto, where the latter has to mercy kill a child who was suffering in pain from his ever growing increase of his psychic power.
As has been stated previously, this matchup is top tier, the animation is fantastic and I enjoyed every second of it. But the fact that the video is sponsored by Better Help is both absolutely hysterical and yet somehow earnest and fitting?
I'll admit that I hate that Guts didn't win, but the way he went out makes too much sense. Plus, seeing Dmitri uphold Guts' hunt of the unholy is truly badass.
I know right. And I love how they actually properly showcased his superior speed 'n tactics too, seeing as how he actually dominated in the fight up until he took his first real wound. Being human, it's bloody difficult to operate at one's max potential when stabbed even just once, so he gets real props for fighting so well for as long as he did.
I could see them trying to kill each other in some instances, but if Byleth were present to reign Dimitri in, I could see the two becoming friends out of respect for each other's strength and tenacity. I could also see Dimitri trying to use Dragon Slayer.
@@mercury2157 My favorite part about that fight is despite Raiden’s many advantages over Wolverine, it wasn’t until both were pushed to their limits that Raiden was able to kill him.
17:48 "Should a thousand beasts raise their claws at me, I will happily send them running." -quote from Dimitri in one of Hapi's supports that I was reminded of
Truth be told, when I saw Guts start moving again, I thought he was going to cleave Dimitri in half just like with Knightmare, & the outcome would be explained the same way as before, i.e. Guts is too stubborn to die. Color me pleasantly surprised!
Guts went out like a badass-literally standing on his two feet. Dimitri vowing to protect his soul is truly poetic and a lovely hat tip to both the fans of the series as well as the late creator who tragically passed. ❤❤❤ Keep struggling forward.
It's quite fascinating how Guts, despite surviving the Eclipse, was still constantly haunted by demon spirits, showing us that, even if you miracously escaped the Horror, it will always chase you. In fact, that aspect of "Berserk" even inspired a chapter of the book "Let the Right One In" in which the vampire Eli is haunted by the ghosts of the children who were sacrificed when she was transformed into a monster.
It does take heavy inspiration from mythos, specifically European mythos. And boy are those monsters, creatures, and fey are all REALLY nasty when you anger them.
Lol it’s literally a huge part of the plot, the Brand forces him to become a demon beacon because he wasn’t supposed to survive, the Brand of Sacrifice is exactly what it’s labeled: you’re marked as cattle for the slaughter and no matter what, you will be hunted and consumed by any means.
Dimitri's "You demons will NOT have his soul" hit me harder than it has any right to Him running off laughing maniacally to fight For Guts is just the most wholesome badass moment in all of DB
The half circle theory about the black side representing the eclipse and the white representing the azure moon was a way better theory than being basic swords, I'm ngl

One thing I absolutely love is how they intentionally made it so he didn't die being controlled by his own black beast that had tempted him his entire life. This idea is pushed even further due to his helmet being shattered, adding to the idea that he died on his own terms.

I didn't expect Dimitri to win but i can understand why. @@cameronbarnes4216 I doubt it, this seems like another case of them downplaying the reasonable victor and highballing the dude that should lose. For instance, guts didn't need the help in terms of durability or attack power to kill the lightning guy, it was because zodd could fly and guts could actually attack and kill them, that they teamed up. If guts could get to him on his own, it probably would have been unneeded. Guts would also have the skill advantage, and the amount of repeatable feats places him higher in my opinion. Dimitri constantly fights humans. Guts fights demons, which are far stronger than humans, at a similar level of ease. On top of that, they place dimitri's durability above guts based on one feat he didn't even actually do. They did respect to the characters, but the outcome is nonsense.
Came back to see if Bill's statue really was in this battle, you can actually see it in the background at 17:00 during the 2nd bloospill shot, just off to the left. Neato
Guts died in the best way he'd know how to die; fighting until his body physically can't fight anymore. And it seems that Dimitri is familiar with the burden that Guts can finally let go. It made me jerk some tears hearing that Dimitri wanted Guts' soul to rest in peace, as he vowed those that haunt him would never have his soul. Even though I rooted for Guts, this battle made me admire and love both. This battle was beautiful from start to finish.
I thought dimitri did something to guts soul or something but realizing it’s as simple as guts literally dying mid swing and staying there standing is incredible
I think a nice detail to show that guts was dead was this. 17:28 when dimitri pulls out his weapon, theres no spurt or spray of blood. Normally that would add a splatter of blood when a weapon was being pulled out but this time there wasn’t; signaling that guts had no more blood left.
Guts died on his feet like a boss and Dimitri respected him enough to protect his very soul from demons. This is probably the best ending to a Death Battle since Jonathan vs. Tanjiro.
Spoilers: I like how this fight was like a mixture of both franchises The fight starts like a typical fire emblem match (it started on enemy phase with Guts, then when Dimitri was thrown back by Gut's sword swing, it's player phase and it has the sound effect when you attack an enemy when Dimitri charges, then Guts gets at two range and fires his crossbow, then Dimitri counters with thunder at two range, then Guts does a dagger throw as a 2 range counter and gets in close to slash Dimitri who counters, etc.), then it becomes a berserk fight when guts head-butts Dimitri (bombs, canons, etc.) and it ends with a mixture of the dynasty warrior-esque Berserk games and Fire Emblem three hopes gameplay. I like this... this is cool.
It also helps that at the end of the battle, Dimitri did trigger an Atrocity crit. He comes from a game series where critical hits automatically hit, even if you had more crit that hit. And that was, indeed, the killing blow.
That death was something else. I love how it was different. Unlike allmost all deathbattle that you feel numb by someone dying, this ending with a demon showing up and one of the fighters fighting for the other. Guts standing still, just awesome
Logically, the demon who would have claim is our good friend Griffith, who is about to run directly into the problem of an enemy who can actually heal themselves.
I was dreading this fight because I did not want to see Guts die. Despite the result, I am not upset - the death is respectful and fitting. Thank you, Death Battle crew.

Someone once said "There's nothing scarier than a man with nothing to lose."(Or something along those lines)
These two are prime examples of that,
So I've heard Dimitri spends all 20 points of durability in the animation so I'll try to count how many times he attacks with his spear or glaive or whatever Areadbhar is.
Ignoring the intro and I'll presume attacks blocked with the weapon don't spend durability (ironically enough)
And neither do attacks that whiff so 15:17 and similar situations are ignored.
subtract 1 (15:20)
Tempest Lance so subtract 5 (15:24)
subtract 1 (15:44)
subtract 1 (15:54)
subtract 1 (16:05)
Frozen Lance so subtract 4 (16:12)
Frame by frame counts 6 clashes for (16:57) and my ears count about 2 more offscreen
subtract 1 (17:02)
subtract 1 (17:09)
Atrocity so subtract 4 (17:19)
So if you count the Clash Rush as one turn of attacking then the math checks out.
Well Done.
Actually, in Three Hopes you can upgrade it to 25 durability, so if you count the clash as six it still works
@@christopherrowley1274 Never played that game so thanks for that tidbit.
@@christopherrowley1274I'm pretty sure you can upgrade to at least 70 in Three Hopes, but it's been a while since I played.

They really need therapist
Hi
I'd argue the therapists for these 2 would probably need a therapist after hearing even half the trauma Guts and Dimitri have been through.

It's quite fascinating how Guts, despite surviving the Eclipse, was still constantly haunted by demon spirits, showing us that, even if you miracously escaped the Horror, it will always chase you. Guts would also have the skill advantage, and the amount of repeatable feats places him higher in my opinion. Dimitri constantly fights humans. Guts fights demons, which are far stronger than humans, at a similar level of ease.

Spoilers:
I like how this fight was like a mixture of both franchises
The fight starts like a typical fire emblem match (it started on enemy phase with Guts, then when Dimitri was thrown back by Gut's sword swing, it's player phase and it has the sound effect when you attack an enemy when Dimitri charges, then Guts gets at two range and fires his crossbow, then Dimitri counters with thunder at two range, then Guts does a dagger throw as a 2 range counter and gets in close to slash Dimitri who counters, etc.), then it becomes a berserk fight when guts head-butts Dimitri (bombs, canons, etc.) and it ends with a mixture of the dynasty warrior-esque Berserk games and Fire Emblem three hopes gameplay.
I like this... this is cool.
Yo you’re right! That’s sick! Such a well animated fight. This is a cool way of rendering turn based combat.
