I just had a funny thought,
Australia celebrates Christmas in the Summer. Seasons are funny in a weird way.
I love how the babies just blend right into the sand in the little bins. It’s so naturalistic🗣💋🤌🏽
Well worth the wait Bud you can really see the quality difference between the iPhone and camera . Thank you for all effort and producing such good content
👍
Thank you Peter
AMAZING! First video with 100k 😍
Merry Christmas to you and all
You too!
Also such high quality vid 🤩 love how clear the beginning is 🥺
I like that you explain everything so well thanks I really love watching you. I think that I could watch you all day long.
Very cool video I learned a lot watching your stuff I don’t call Comment on alot of your videos but i just wanted to let you know I learned alot from you thank you. Keep the video coming
Thanks appreciate you watching
For the bettas name you said to chuck some names down below. When I heard the word Chuck I thought why not make that his name!
Imagine hanging out at home and then suddenly you're swimming in a cloud of your favourite prey
I love seeing how it all works! Those fire golds are gorgeous.
Thanks man!
Call you Betta 'Flame', he reminds me of an open fire! Love this video x
Very enjoyable video nick, so wonderful to see all the beautiful fish mate🙂👍🏻
Syngonium is another great vining plant that will grow in water. It thrives in very low light conditions
Thanks for all the tips I love watching your videos. I will definitely be getting some fish off you in the future.
Any time!
L397 were beautiful. I learn new breeds + loads of knowledge on fish every time I watch your videos
For getting wrigglers out of caves safely, also see wash bottles from wherever you get pipettes and other lab supplies. We also use them extensively for rinsing microscopic foods through a sieve to make sure we don't introduce culture water to display tanks (just the zooplankton). Those wash bottles are also really useful for dispensing thawed frozen foods or live foods.
200k subs - next goal 😁 - impressed with the indepth details in the vid - didnt even feel like watchin a 28min vid - grt work 👍
I love to watch your videos thank you so much 😁 💗
Thanks!!
Gz on 100k mate

perfection 🙌🏻
Thanks!
Excellent video. Congratulations on 100k, you have worked very hard for that.
Thanks Darryl! Your support has been amazing !
Nice! I live about 2 hours away from Perth, and get most off my fish online. I tried to breed bettas a bout a month ago, spawning was great, lots of fry, but sadly they all dies a few weeks ago. Water was all good, not sure what happened. I plan on respawning them after Christmas holidays. Hope one day I’ll be breeding professionally like you!
Thanks man sorry to hear
Yea same in a few days it dies I provide food and things
Been waiting for this video
Thanks !
Nice setup dude love ya video's..
Congrats on 100k man! And awesome video!
Cheers bro!!
Thx so much for advice
Thanks
Wow the fishroom is doing well. Maybe you can create full white Rams that must be amazing
Hahahaha I think that will be too much work
Congrats on 100k subs man!
Congrats on 100k
Amazing! Excited to get a pair of your blue blacks in late January, have been saving up a lot. 😁😁🐟
Make sure you drop a note. I’ll throw some extras in
Great video man, I'd love to have a set up like that. As a future request can you do an updated video on setting up the fry feeder and how you set up the bbs hatchery? I've been trying to get black/dark Knight rams here in the UK and they are so hard to come by.
Yes for sure
Great video as usual dude, love the longer format too :)
Glad you like them!
Congrats on 100K!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks Peter
nice video keep up the good work
Thanks!
Congratulations on 100k subs! Wow it has been a journey!
Thank you!!
congrats on 100k
Thank you!
Great content. 🥰
Awesome
Love the videos! Thank you. Can you please tell me why many of your tanks are covered in duckweed? Is it beneficial for the fish?
I'd love to see you get with Master breeder Dean from Aq coop. Think you 2 would make some amazing breeding videos for us.
Worth the wait especially when normal uploads average like 15 min instead we get a half hour!
Hi, really enjoying your videos and enthusiasm. I was wondering if salt from the brine shrimp would affect a home aquarium.
Lets name the betta "chuck" cause I chucked a name suggestion
Lol
Great looking fish as usual.
What repashy do you use to feed?
The three blue blacks I got from you the other week spawned the other day
Very small batch but great to see them spawning so soon
The colour and fins in the pair are amazing
Great content mate. Please tell me how you prevent the GBR fry getting stuck in the filter sponge? My 2day free swimmers cull themselves by getting stuck in the sponge pores. Even tried putting ladies stocking material over the sponges but they get trapped in that too 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️
Nice!
Thanks!
Do you Rinse the brine shrimp before feeding them to fish. Thanks 🙏
I can't believe I didn't realise you had the boesmani on the store. If I'd know I would of snatched em all up xD
More coming dw!
Congratulations on 100k you truly deserve it, next goal 200k. Video idea! I know you have seen this on your last vid but It was messed up and only put some of the text but it saying, for a 100k special do a fish room tour and at the end you will tell them that the most voted fish will be sold in your fish room or just a tutorial on them. You could just put a poll up. Also this is just a suggestion but I really hope that it happens. I understand some fish may cause to make a financial loss as how much you make sometimes depends upon where you live and what the demand is. Keep on doing the great work! #100k
Thank you so much! I have a full tour coming soon so maybe this could work. Thanks for the support
@@KeepingFishSimple that’s ok!
hi nick 🐟🐠
Are you going to sell your fire gold apistos from October on your website??
Do you rinse the bbs before feeding because of the salt ? Thanks.
Heck!!!
Paul paul
I see your sweating in the summer. Coming from the DWC / hydroponics world I use water chillers in the summer as opposed to water heaters. Do you use a chiller for your water in the summer? I have heaters for all my new tanks but have never went through a summer in this hobby and it can get 110deg here in the summer. For tropical fish like Angels / Rams, will the water temps be ok or do you run a water chiller?
THx!!!!!
If you harvest enough for two feeds a day how do you keep the the bbs alive afterthought first feed ? For the second later feed. Do you feed as a treat or as a main food ? Thank you.
after how long do u take them out of the fry box
How do you keep a fry tub from smelling bad? I fed infusorium for the first few days and man, can I tell!
Great video!
What kind of repashy do you use?
Same question here Nick, which type of Rapashy are you feeding the fry?
👍
can I make midnight black rams from black rams?
Why do rams fry die if we hatch them seperately?
All my water parameters are in limit
Could be due to kh in water
Can you please do a fish breeding room toor??
How any of your fish can be sent up to darwin?? I know we have some weird rules up here on aquarium fish
Great video. I just want to ask, why is my neon tetra turning darket in color like almost black?
Maybe camera
Bro if you don't mind, you look a bit tired i know works pile up but May be you should take abit rest, have a nice day
I was tired but not burning out. I have a busy life lol
i love you kfs
Awesome vid mate. All your fish look awesome. What brand of brine eggs do you use ? And you do you use marine salt or just aquarium salt. I’m not getting very good hatch rates but I think it my be the eggs I’m using ?
I use like 3 different brands not too fussy lol
Also just pool salt with no additives
Bring back the stache
You just inject the brine shrimp along with the salt water? Won't that harm the fry?
Is it okay to keep a betta with guppies, zebra danios and neon tetras or will the betta attack the other fish?
Add the betta last. Guppies and danios usually don't mix with bettas. Guppies have long flowing fins which may be attacked by the danios and the betta. Danios are too fast and nippy for the betta and guppies. The tetras should work as long as the tank is large enough
I've had a lot of success feeding Bettas every other day, and I cultivate a super easy live food to feed them which is better for adult fish than even brine shrimp or black worms. Peanut Beetle larvae! Check out Sumer Tiwari's article and video on them. I'd be happy to send you some if it's legal and all that.

Yo
Hey nick what happened to diesel?
He was an old fish :(
I asked that question a few months ago he unfortunately passed. He should be the channel icon since he started it all.
@@fishingaddicts4739 agreed
chuck
Chuck
@@KeepingFishSimple 😂😂😂
You are not allowed to breed goldfish and relatives because carp are illegal in Queensland, right?
name the bettas harry and lucy
Hahaha
Hi I know I am young kid but I lov fish I did all my shearsh on yt and google and I got a alergie on my plants in my 10 gallon and nothing is working please help!:((((
Reduce lighting hours and put it on a timer. Add algae eaters like amano shrimp , nerite snails, otocinclus. Get an algae magnet or scraper. Switch of lights for a few days to kil algae. Hope this helps
Add some fast growing/ floating plants to combat algae
@@apss5736 I did- it’s been so long it’s not working I even told my parents to get cherry shrimp
@@noob_robloxlola3201 hmm. what sort of algae do you have. cherries need to be in huge groups to make a difference in algae. 4-5 amanos and a nerite snail should be able to clean it better if you can get them
@@apss5736 i have no idea what type it is its furry its brown growing on my plants and my heater
You probably know this but bettas stomachs are about the size of their eye so don’t over feed
Yes!
