This is my favorite kind of video. You are a teacher. I suggest to make videos that you enjoy making, when you feel like making them. Taking care of fish is pressure enough. I LOVE seeing your natural tanks. My tanks are VERY natural and the fish play and are happy. Thanks, Nick, for sharing your aquatic life with us!! USA
Incredible vid, always love seeing your fish room and all your incredible inhabitants. Totally understand dropping the vlogs especially if they aren't fun and enjoyable for you and abit of a handful
Busy fishkeepers - a quick tip for refreshing our bodies is to sit in a comfy chair and put our feet up as high as our hearts. 10 minutes of this is so good for our circulation and energy. Leaning back a bit helps too. USA
Loving all the videos, you've really accomplished a lot. It feels so good just sitting down, relaxed, and watching your setups. Great video as always! Hope you have a great week! 😃👍🐟🐠🪴
Re: new facilities, what is the market like in Australia for single use shipping containers? Here in the US, they can frequently be had for a very reasonable amount, even for insulted ones. Though rare and more expensive, some even have integrated HVAC. Could you find a more affordable, undeveloped lot/parcel, pour an appropriate sized foundation, and creat a shop using multiple shipping containers? Either temporary until you choose to construct a larger custom building, or embrace the containers as a system, and add additional units to create modular/scaleable future expansion? There is a company I read about recently doing a similar concept to create urban, modular hydroponic gardening facilities. Each container is modified, from the manufacturer, such that each container is able connect one to the next. Basically giant legos, same as they are on the ships. The standard size used here for most construction projects is a 40FT High Cube container, which is 40’ L by 9.5’ H by 8’ W (12.1M L by 3M H by 2.4M W). A lot of folks start with just two, side by side, as the basis for new construction then expand out from that. Whether or not local codes permit their use in your locality could be of concern. Here it can definitely be hit or miss. Often times commercial facilities have a slightly lower bar than residential, and the reuse of the containers is becoming more accepted. Maybe the same is happening there? Just a thought. 🤔🤷🏻♂️
Just make what makes you happy dude. Nothing worse than feeling like a slave, even if it's what the algorithm tells you to make. There's a market for everything. Remember that you're actually making something, and that's more than 99% of people on here can say.
I’m setting up my own fish room side hustle right now at my parents and I fucks w the Aussie accent so not only is your video vibe calm but the accent is even better thanks for all the info brotha
Cool stuff as always. Don't put the pressure on yourself with the new fish room. It will happen when it's supposed to happen and then you will be very happy with it :)
Awesome video nick!! Congratulations on all the breeding projects that you have going on mate.... You have committed so much time and effort into your fish room and breeding projects and its certainly paying off. Keep up the amazing work 🙂
Love all your videos! You should get your self a squeegee for your floor. Not sure what they call them down there. Usually made out of rubber or silicon and you can just push it all out. Thanks for the video!
Another Aussie here. I don't have a single tank but I enjoy watching others with their fish and aquascapes. The property market is crazy, as you say, it must be so frustrating to need more space as you obviously do, I can see you are patient and prepared to wait but I really get how good it would be to own your own place. No landlords...bliss. Thanks for sharing your projects and info. From an old cat lady in NSW.
Love the black granite tank 👍 How did you fare during the floods. I somehow managed to keep 12 tanks running on battery pumps over 6 days without electricity in Ballina while the house was surrounded by the flood water for several days.
I absolutely love watching your videos; I've learned so much from you and have several tanks that are thriving thanks to your guidance, thoughts, and input. Keep it up!
Really enjoy your videos.I dont keep fish anymore, started off with cichlids as my first fish(south american)than moved to the smaller species from lake malawi.Back when they were importing things you could only dream about lol.It must be very difficult these days for breeders.Gave a like and subscribe for the great content
I've heard a lot about crazy real estate prices in Australia. Parts of the States Europe too. Mmm.. thats a difficult one, speculation and chinese buyers most likely. This has happen before and correction follow. When it does it can be quite fast, you can buy defaults. Repossessions if you got cash.
Question. I have a pair of German blue rams at work. they have paired up. It's an office tank and my rams laid eggs. However, being that it's at work, I have a lot of glare from the computer and other lights and constant peeking at the fishtank all day. I noticed that this might have stressed my fish. the male that was protecting the eggs and taking turns with the female, suddenly began attacking the female and both fish began to ignore the eggs and stopped protecting. I have 3 dither fish (nano Cory's) Is it wise to cover the tank front glass to avoid the fish from stressing? I actually covered the glass with cut to size Styrofoam to give them privacy. Is this ok? not recommended ? A waste of time? I guess my logic is while they are spawning or protecting the eggs, this might help for a successful outcome and avoid distractions from lights, co workers and constant movement. I hope the eggs are ok. please advise. The tank is mature, no ammonia, has driftwood , flat rocks, plants, nano filter with sponge to prevent fry loss, leaf litter, and tannin waters.
All good. Do what is best for you and your business. After floods I can imagine its even more problematic to buy property. Be careful where you purchase. Xx
Interesting about the black rams- melanistic mutations have been linked to increased aggression in some animals (eg. black squirrels vs gray squirrels), but reduced aggression in others (eg. black self lab rats vs agouti lab rats). Melanin is not just a skin pigment, it's also used in neurological processes. I've read that behaviour changes having to do with increased melanin has something to do with the role of melanin in the brain.
Mate....i have followed your channel since i was in dubai. Now i am brisbane and so want to see your place and get some fish from your projects.....do you have any store or online link to buy em?
mate, things are very difficult trying to get real estate to purchase. The floods have made property scarce with so many people needing housing. Please just love your fish room till you purchase ,your doing great. Now's the time to learn all you can and truly appreciate your good fortune. Have fun 👍
I bought a house six months ago, and there's a barn out back, that I have no real plans for. I'm thinking of breeding fish and growing aquarium plants.
Update videos once a week/fortnight is a far better long term gameplay to prevent burnout and your audience retention will stay because the quality will be goood. Keep it up mate keen to buy some shrimp off y’a, down in Vic
If you got antoher place will you make fishroom build videos? I realy love your work! i got 27 tanks and need a bigger room to, there just to mutch fish i like 😝
Keep your chin up mate, when the right house appears then everything will fall into place. Until then keep up the great content. Ps: sux you don't ship to W.A lol
Hi 👋I love your channel so much and I have some glowlight and silver tip tetras and I was wondering if you could do a video of how to easily breed one of those species😁😊😲😁
Hi mate can i ask i be able to get shrimp from overseas ore i will get trouble from the government bringing livestock from overseas?I'm in Victoria by the way :)
My electric blue rams once laid eggs and the fries hatched. The parent fish were protecting the fries and guarding them as usual. But within a week or so only one fry survived. I still wonder what could be the reason. My uncle told me that sometimes the parents themselves eat their fries.
Are you having troubles with your bristlenose baby’s dying? My lfs told me today that all the breeders they get fish from have a disease wiping out their bn plecos
I think youre doing great. The fact that youre not satistified with where you are at isnt complaining. Its good for your drive and growth. Keep it up man
If you want a new fish for breeding , buy gardneri killifish they are very easy to breed and they are not like the other killifish that need soil to spawn. Thank you
Hey mate a friend of mine breeds corys solely and he has had frequent spawns when he used a spawning mop. He also uses a Strainer/shower head or colinder to imitate rain when he does water changes!
It's great to see a young man totally committed to something that he loves doing. Best of luck and I hope you are very successful.
Soon he'll grow old and weak, unable to lift the water bucket 😥
Rihet
Good luck! I wish you all the success in the future! You have helped me tremendously with your videos!! Keep doing what you love!!
You have accomplished a lot. I hope the next year or so brings you the new facility you want.✌️🐟🌿

Hello there i just bred bristlenose plecos using your tips it has helped me alot there are now little fry keep up the good work:)
Congratulations!! My little pleco loves thawed raw peas. USA
It's always great to sit down and have a snack and watch your videos! Have a blessed day nick!

You had a Lego add! Good show 😃
You do excellent work! I continually learn many things. Outstanding to see a young man doing such focused work and moving forward. You are the BEST!!!

Love all the vids man, updates are great and fun to watch. In terms of vlogs yeah don't force yourself to do em if your not feeling it.
Loving all the videos, you've really accomplished a lot. It feels so good just sitting down, relaxed, and watching your setups. Great video as always! Hope you have a great week! 😃👍🐟🐠🪴

Good stuff,keep it up.

Awesome! Your fish room very impressive!! Your doing great work for the fish community

Can you try breeding peaceful bettas/betta imbellis please?
Always when i watch youre video's, you make me motivated to work in my own fishroom with your great ideas
I love watching your videos 😍
YES!!!! Make a pea puffer breeding vid!!!
How it started: Keeping Fish Simple.
How it's going: Check out my 65 aquariums!
you should try to keep more native fish like bass
Love the work you do, just keep doing what makes you happy. Hope you have a great week 😊❤
Hey, can you do a breeding video for chili rasboras?
Tips on the aggazzis please lol keep up the great work !
Wishing you great success. I think the fish are easier to see in the black tanks.
Cool stuff as always. Don't put the pressure on yourself with the new fish room. It will happen when it's supposed to happen and then you will be very happy with it :)

The gray is brighter but has a little glare. The black doesn't have as much glare. I think black is best.
Any news on the breeding of the neon tetras?
Those black rams are top quality.
so many cool fish and shrimp
Your commitment and dedication will take you where you want to be.... Even beyond that.
Love all your videos! You should get your self a squeegee for your floor. Not sure what they call them down there. Usually made out of rubber or silicon and you can just push it all out. Thanks for the video!
Really interesting thank you. I had noticed there are a few more pea puffers around. Still way out of my league but one day...

Love your work Nick. You’ll find your new fish room one day and make a success of it I’m sure.
Love the black granite tank 👍
How did you fare during the floods.
I somehow managed to keep 12 tanks running on battery pumps over 6 days without electricity in Ballina while the house was surrounded by the flood water for several days.
Was all ok didnt even lose power
I absolutely love watching your videos; I've learned so much from you and have several tanks that are thriving thanks to your guidance, thoughts, and input. Keep it up!
The black Granite tank looks awesome 👍
The space was utilized very well, looking forward to see you move to a larger fish room in the future... I love your videos, keep uploading ^^
Nice breeding room !
Careful with adding sand on the bottom of the tank. Pressure might result into cracks.
INSANE for sure
New subscriber here....can Angle fish egg hatch without airpump..?
Great vid, thanks from lake munmorah NSW ❤️🇦🇺
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing bro

The mixed color shrimp will not breed true. Hopefully they won’t be sold as pure. Love the shrimp hobby.
shrimp flaps 😆 🤣 😂. also new fish room. why don't you build a big shed in your back yard. it would be a lot cheaper
Mate....i have followed your channel since i was in dubai. Now i am brisbane and so want to see your place and get some fish from your projects.....do you have any store or online link to buy em?

yellow and blue shrimp give green shrimp but after multiple cycles of many different collours some are getting brown atm xD

Do what you love! If fish keeping and breeding is what you love, take us along on your journey; don't feel like you have to cater.
Mike
I hope you find a bigger place for your fish room mate. You seem super busy which is awesome, you're clearly doing everything right. Good luck! 👍
If you got antoher place will you make fishroom build videos? I realy love your work! i got 27 tanks and need a bigger room to, there just to mutch fish i like 😝
Can you do a video on how you hatch your sterbi eggs? My hatch rate has been terribly low 20% or less from every batch. Thanks!!
THANK YOU FOR THE UP-DATE :)
AND GOOD LUCK :)
THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL :)
Hi mate can i ask i be able to get shrimp from overseas ore i will get trouble from the government bringing livestock from overseas?I'm in Victoria by the way :)
For the new fishroom background maybe black with the kfs UA-cam logo in the middle so all your footage is water marked and looks cool
I wonder if you would have less aggression with your black knight rams in a tank with 3 black sides?
Love these videos, keep doing your thing, very enjoyable to watch
My electric blue rams once laid eggs and the fries hatched. The parent fish were protecting the fries and guarding them as usual. But within a week or so only one fry survived. I still wonder what could be the reason. My uncle told me that sometimes the parents themselves eat their fries.
Lower the pH of bettas to 6.5 to 6.8 for lots of eggs and assured breeding . Feed as much live feed as possible. Feed males more than female.
Are you having troubles with your bristlenose baby’s dying? My lfs told me today that all the breeders they get fish from have a disease wiping out their bn plecos
Do you recommend somewhere to get the hang on fry saver boxes from? (Checked your website to see if you sold them but you don’t 😢)
I’ve done the same with my shrimp and ended up with some cool Coulter’s purples and creams
Most if not all corydoras breed with a temp drop. Excited to see if they breed more.
Pea puffers are gorgeous.
I think youre doing great. The fact that youre not satistified with where you are at isnt complaining. Its good for your drive and growth. Keep it up man
YO PEA PUFFERSSSSSS they are so hard to find in Aus I have never seen them for sale
the background music is so annoying updates are great..ty
are you looking for commercial space or a residential space with a garage?
I would love to do what you are doing!! Have you thought of doing aquaponics?
Waiting a little while longer to purchase a property might end up being a huge blessing.
If you want a new fish for breeding , buy gardneri killifish they are very easy to breed and they are not like the other killifish that need soil to spawn. Thank you
Take your time and find a good building to purchase.
Hey mate a friend of mine breeds corys solely and he has had frequent spawns when he used a spawning mop. He also uses a Strainer/shower head or colinder to imitate rain when he does water changes!
Why do even knowledgeable fish lovers keep bettas in these tiny cups and say that they're happy there as if the fish told them about it?
Hey bro wats up i got some purple pink guppies yesterday they look amazing cant wait ti breed them
Looks like you got 2 species of carinotetraodon within that tank?
STICK TO YOUR DREAMS BROTHER...FROM CANADA!
i have sent you a pm on the facebook page regarding your looking for a new premesis good luck !
How big is your fish tanks? How many galons or litres? :)
What about discuss. I think you are trying to breed discuss also but no any update.
For betta why wouldnt u use bottle with hoels at the bottom in a tiny square shallow pond whcih makes changing water easier
You are really gifted. You should open your own pet store!!
Keep up the good work I love the fishes big importations to me
What should I do before breeding my fish 🦐
Yo get a Turkey baster for changing water in betta cups
