Thank you for this video. Was able to take apart my laptop screen as my younger brother had damaged it. Replaced it with a screen panel from a G62 I found on the street last year near my home.
Thanks for the looks on the internals. Quick criticism: it would be nice if you made sure the part you're working on is visible on the camera all the time 😊
Difficult to do in some instances. That camera angle means I can't see the cameras screen to see what I was recording :( And recording is secondary to fixing the problem, and I rarely get to see the same model machine again so can't re-record :
Maybe eBay for the model number of the laptop and see if it produces more than just the old model of screen. Often even if you search for the exact screen model number sellers offer compatible alternatives.

There are ips screen for the cq58? Because I have one but the tn panel is unwatchable
