Just stared on the journey. Excellent tutorial. I like the little tips, super glue on fine threads, tension on the spool, materials used etc.

Hi Gareth, welcome aboard buddy. You might find it useful to start with some nymphs first they are easier to tie until you get into your stride. This ones really easy ua-cam.com/video/xB9zaFvMQKo/v-deo.html best of luck.

Hi Lindsay, hopefully you are healthy and well!. The Jingler a fly I have not heard of! Looks good to me. I too like a shaggy rough looking fly and for that reason I carry in my kit a lolly stick with Velcro on it and use it for lots of patterns (blobs, eggs, nymphs etc). I also use silicon when tying dries especially my bi visibles and klinks. Good video young man … atb Jim

Using superglue do your air the flys before placing them in a box? I have found if I put a new fly with superglue in a plastic box the vapors coat the clear plastic.

Sorry Frank, I don't quite get what you mean. I use so little it is generally well dry before the fly is finished.

@@lindsayiflyfish because of its vapors superglue leaves a film in my flyboxes if I place them inside right away. Usually I leave the flys out of my boxez for several days allowing the glue to totally dry.

Hi Frank, right I am with you, I leave mine on the side for often weeks. I have never come across the film that you describe.

@@frankklimko9058 yep , be careful not to let the vapors near any plastic lenses etc, will damage them
