Great interview. I have been trying to figure out Jonathan's background. Found him due to his interview of Vlad Vlexer and now found you due to your interview of Jonathan. So you both are correct....at this point you can get exposure by interviewing other UA-camr's with large audiences.
Excellent podcast, glad I came across your channel! Great point about related channels bolstering each other - Vlad Vexler led me on to the Silicon Curtain, which lead me here. Keep up the great content : )
I heard about this book business in Poland during the 1970's. A friend got Pasternak's Dr. Zivago in French with a weird cover and dog-eared and worn. His French marks in school went way up over 5 months. (His Russian, not so much.)
Thanks a lot! I am one of those dedicated followers of Vlad Vexler. This spurred my interest in the working of UA-cam and how the work and the attitude that are shown by you and a few others could be brought to the people. I hope hope hope you will start the Utopia Channel soon. SF is my secret pleasure. Jasper Fforde. Pleeaaase.
It's always wonderful to hear from people who have enjoyed both Vlad's and Jonathan's work, and am in the same boat myself. I very much hope look forward to the start of this new channel as well!

Could listen to stories about Russia in the 90s all day. Action packed to say the least.

Fascinating to hear these types of accounts. 1 step forward and 2 steps back I suppose. Thank you for watching and for sharing!
Point man, out there scouting the path
I was curious about the source of Jonathan's broad knowledge of Russia and the Soviet Union so I appreciate this conversation all the more. Well done!
As was I! Thanks so much for the kind works, and I'm happy you enjoyed
