    Only JMG could tell me he was a violin maker, an expert on medieval coinage, take a swig of beer and then light a smoke, and I just nod and think “makes sense”. And it’s kind of unsettling to think another civilization may be studying our atmosphere from light years away right now, and maybe they have been for dozens, hundreds, thousands of years.

I respect and admire her determination, I really hope she found all passports she needs to spread her words because I think there is wisdom in her. jrEg interviews over the years are always really interesting cause sometimes he's very clearly playing a character, sometimes he is unironically the character he tries to make us thinks he is playing, and sometimes he's just a dude who does things. Also Jreg is my very favorite person in the whole wide scary world and he's so so nice and I just love him and he's basically my best friend and anyone who says otherwise works for the fucking government to keep me from my favorite person ever BUT YOU CAN'T. You can't keep me from my best friend, Greg

    Hi Tyler, if u are such a critic of Islam like u claim in this video, why did u have an interview with the author of "Destiny Disrupted" and not call him out on his witewashing of muslim forced conversions? This is seems very hypocritical to me

      Hey, and thanks for asking this. And thanks for watching both of those episodes! Tamim Ansary’s book was my first substantial look into the history of the Islamic world, beyond learning about the religion itself (although of course, there was some overlap here). I certainly have plenty more to learn about all things Islamic history, so honestly, I don’t believe I was aware of such a whitewashing at the time, and would have to revisit his book to review what you are referring to. That said, I have little doubt I would find what you mention, and in that case, I would have liked to ask such a question. Regardless, for all my disdain of Islam in the modern context, I can still appreciate the art, history, scientific/political contributions, etc. This is consistent with my views of Christianity, Judaism, etc., although, I’m not afraid to admit that I consider Islam more problematic than the rest. Point being, I approached that conversation more from the stand point of appreciating the history, and not challenging the ideology. Moreover, I think there are plenty of highly combative people speaking out against Islam, and for better or for worse, I don’t think I would excel in this domain. My own approach is to try and highlight what I find interesting or important on a subject. However, I would like to try to engage with some Islamic scholars, Muslim community leaders etc., to try and ask these tough questions and be prepared to push back and go into detail. Your comment is a helpful reminder and some productive motivation to do just that.

    His bias is ahowing. I watched nearly every episode of his and in none of them arabs said anything about killing thr jews or hating them. It was always about the Zionist project that took theor rights. As to the books he is talking about, i can assure you that i have been to most arab countries and none of these books talks or deals with the subject of jews as jews. Its always about the Zionist project. Also, how does he know about such "books" if they are written in arabic. I would ask the reader of this comment to go check any random video of arabs to watch what i meant. On the other hand, the last video i watched of him today was about how the arabs will be slaves, and will evaporate and shit of this caliber when he asked over 7 haridi jews about their thoughts of the Palestinians in reference to the coming of the missiah. If we put our biasis aside, we'd notice that they Isreali are very violent in practice and thought. They actually put in action what they believe while the Palestinians are trying to push back, fighting evil with evil. I never knew how corey looked but i always thought he was reasonable in his questions and the remarks with the exchanges he had with people. But this interview unveiled the real right wing fascist views he harbored for some time

    • @wisertomorrowpodcast
      @wisertomorrowpodcast Місяць тому

      @@AlexanderTheGreat1000 I'm curious what makes you say that? I have a lot of experience in this area, and while it is certainly possible and worth investigating seriously, I don't think there's sufficient evidence to say it's "most likely." I would love to learn you are correct, but the jury is still out in my opinion. We have relatively robust "data" from Mars that, at best, suggests life at least could have existed (maybe), and everything related to the moons of Saturn and Jupiter is objectively speculation; we simply do not know, and life on those moons would likely be quite different, and it's only possible, not likely, they could harbor life.

    It almost has to be an eventuality of chemistry. I think it’s going to be just like how people knew there had to be planets around other star systems but until recently it couldn’t be proven, & now everyone knows it as a fact. I believe by the time my grandchildren are my age, they will know there is life other than what is on Earth.

    After hearing about Hitler/Nazis torturing Jews, I became really furious, sad, and sympathized with them. I simply not comprehend why they were willing to torture, imprison, and murder so many Jews. The Jews were indeed exterminated. This racial hate was considered unreasonable at the time. I now understand what happened in Palestine when Jews were in control. Indeed, there is a significant problem with Judaism's teachings and beliefs, particularly the concept that Jews are the chosen people. As long as Jews embrace this concept, the planet will undoubtedly be destroyed.

      Hey @hishamalaker491, I really appreciate your comment. Rightly so, this topic is sensitive and contentious, so receiving critical feedback that's both kind and constructive is highly appreciated. In fact, your comment and several others have led me to believe it's worthy of a solo video speaking on this in more detail, so I'll save my detailed response for that. But let me be clear: my criticisms extend to Israel, and above all else, I condemn the settlements in the West Bank, among many other things the Israeli government is responsible for. More on this soon, and again, thank you.

    I used to relax on my back ontop of a big hill behind my barracks in southern California and look at the stars. One time I seen this weird flash, it didn't look like a shooting star since it was a in one spot and not shooting and I don't think it was one coming directly at me so I wouldnt see a streek sence it seemed farther away then in our atmosphere. Like a star that got really bright then disappeared in a fraction of a second I'll never know what I seen, all I know is I won't forget that little flash and I hope I seen something incredibly rare to see. It seems amazing that if it was an exploded star the light could have traveled thousands of years and ended up hitting my eyes. Lucky maybe.

    no one talks about the fact that "palestinians" leave the conflict. before the war about 350,000 left gaza and similar number left judea and samaria in 15 years. half a million left syria jordan and lebanon. in 15 years a million arabs left, some say even more. if israel would work on good conditions for the arabs to live, a promise to better life elsewhere, i'm sure a million more will leave peacefuly.

    The more he says "Palestinians have a lot against Jews" me as a Palestinian I can say he's totally wrong. it's not about Jews and please use your common sense. many of the "Jews" in Israel barely practicing at all. There's a difference between being a Jew, a practicing Jew and a Zionist Jew. We Palestinians have the issue with Zionist's Jews. I don't care if you are a Jew or not honestly we really don't give a damn but Zionism is the issue. It all started from Zionism. You guys are claiming the Land is yours coming up with Zionism. This is where all started. We don't hate Jews. Just put all of your words in place. Next thing is, the solution. I personally and I'm 100% sure about that. There will never ever be peace between those two. Simply because the whole thing was a big mistake. they shouldn't took the land from the first place. they are basically surrounded by people who's mothers and fathers got killed and can see their stolen land on a daily basis. Here's the thing. You will never ever fool us with those peace thingy, we can have peace only if you guys give back the land. We just can't see our land occupied and expecting us to stay silent, we are not fools. I can't imagine a guy came all the way down from Europe has nothing to do with my homeland, having my house on the beach while im in the refugee camp!! how the F does this make sense. Why on earth do I have to make peace with such mentality I don't get it? for the sake of what? peace? Fuck peace dude.
