    • @webguy943

$1600. Villain had two pair, i had a straight.

I won a full buy in on the first hand of a new table once. Effective stacks 150 BB (table max), I hold AA UTG, I raise, BB 3 bets, I 4 bet, BB calls. Flop Q83r, BB open shoves with a pot sized bet, I call.
OK, so it was a 1/2 table in 2006, villain had AKo, and it was only $300. I don't play much live cash.

I usually play only tournaments but I've enjoyed cash games in Vegas on vacations. I'm actually Finnish too like Antonius.🇫🇮 My biggest pot was measly $1380, it was only $1/2 game. Made a hero call with 3s5s (one pair) against missed draws. Not a lot of money but felt really good not going to lie.

What makes this even better is that Antonius has been a true gentleman at the high stake tables for over two decades and Persson has been known as a rude egoistic bully for like two years lol. Persson is sure to find the stupidest spots to bluff. The most likely hand Antonius has is AA considering the flow of actions, betting into the ace showing up, making a full house beating his flush draw. And he is SO EASY TO READ it's crazy. This whole hand is bonkers, by the way. Persson probably shouldn't be calling Q9s to the 3-bet pre, shouldn't be raising the flop ever. Patrik's click back is fine because Persson has clearly lost his mind but it isn't particularly great in theory either.
We're so far off the game tree by the time we get to the turn I have no idea what's going on and what Persson should be doing there, so it's very possibly Persson is supposed to jam Q9ss because it's one of the worst hands he gets to the turn with and you can theoretically gets some K-high and 8x to fold. (even though Patrik shouldn't have much 8x in his range.)
    It's just nutso.

When he 4 bets, Persson would've 5 bet shoved if he had a real hand, so by clicking it back he knows that Persson doesn't have a monster when he just calls. @@JimmyRingz i disargee. It makes a lot of sense to raise with those hands on the flop when you are 500 bb deep and opponent has lots of overpairs in their range. It would be a mistake not too. But i do agree that the shove turn with those hands makes no sense even for Eric. However in general when you play for a 1000bb pot top pair top kicker is not a great hand unless theres a maniac in the hand

but a little slowcall from patrick. he was so pot committed. stack to pot ratio so close. even as an underdog he could flat call. but it's million tho

Always funny watching Peerson trying to bully players and getting destroyed. So many these days have worked out his game and he has become an epic whale. When he was new on the scene he could get away with it but now he flushes chips down the toilet on the reg.

I remember once when Eric showed his middle finger to Phil Helmut, calling him a clown, then I thought - wait a minute, who really is this Eric? Now I know. Honestly? Phil is arrogant and has an ego, but he can still play poker, so if Eric calls him a clown, how low is he in the hierarchy? Second thing - Patrick is one of my favorite players - always true gentleman - well deserved win for him.

He always sounds scared, " you know you're out of position right ". " ill be chip leader ". Then as Patrick is about to raise turn, " i wouldn't do that ". Then there's the one where a player is about to act and perrson is already with chips motioning to toss into the pot. In effect saying" I'm strong " with his money if he ever hires a coach he'd improve immensely ! Maybe get his vpip down in the 70,s.
