You wouldn't believe how much I've learned from you just in the few days since I've found your channel! I'm sitting here at 4 something AM watching you... I just can't put my phone up and go to sleep, but that's normal for me and my insomnia! Thank you so much for all of the inspiration! ❤❤❤
Lisa I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked at my Sid Dickens tiles and wondered how can I get those cracks in my tiles and here you are figuring it out for all of us. Your awesome!
I can not wait for this entire series to be in a comprehensive playlist….. I wish I could help you with the technical end of these things, but I’m afraid I ain’t know how…
There are parts of the video where the music gets very loud while you're talking and it is hard to hear you. Not sure if that is intentional... Love your way of teaching though!
What a great technique, thank you for showint this! What is the product used for the aging? I didn't quite hear it clearly. I mean the one you used to fill in the cracks.
Thank you so much! I use DIY Dark & Decrepit and Black Chiffon by Paint Couture (both are glazes). Here are the links www.sweetandsassytreasures.com/product-page/black-chiffon-glaze, www.sweetandsassytreasures.com/product-page/dark-decrepit
have you ever wet your surface and then blotted the excess moisture off, leaving a slightly damped top, and then stamped the inked rubber directly onto it? You can get that water color effect and then as it dries, go back in with some ink on your brush to darken it here and there. Sometimes you can barely mist the inked stamp and do the same thing, depending on the look you want. I was wondering why you use the baby wipes. Is it just for the wetness or for the chemicals in it? I use soft tee shirts or blue paper towels, no pilling that way, and so much cheaper. I really like what you're doing!
Thank you so much, I haven’t tried that but I definitely will! The baby wipes is just for moisture really but sometimes it’s like a magic eraser lol 😊. I appreciate the tips.
@@SweetandSassyTreasures absolutely, I used to do it all the time on heavy card stock for card making. You might have to play with it to get the results you want.
I don’t disagree with you…this was years ago when I first posted my live content. Now I work hard to edit out those kinds of things. I don’t always get it right but I try. Thank you for watching though, my new videos might be more to your liking but if my channel isn’t quite for you, I totally understand. 😊
