Intestine skewers(isaw) is one of my favorite street food, eating it before I go home. And fried quail eggs(kwekkwek) and skewered clotted chicken blood(betamax). All of it are quite popular in the city and you will see alot of people eating it in the streets. I just always wonder why they don't serve those things in restaurants serving Filipino dishes.

I noticed lately sa iba't ibang news or tv show dito sa US, na feature nila about pinas, be it festival like so, food etc etc. events. dati naman di nila pinapansin. I think it has some political reason kasi marami na ang military presence nila sa pinas at need nila ang pinas para sa bases nila. Btw, yun babae na host mi lahi pinay.

It's been like that even before the military presence.

You’d be lucky if they have “laswa”, it’s all thick veggie stew, mainly okra, alugbati(spinach) and squash, or “fresh lumpia” which is different from the fried lumpia, it’s filling is bamboo shoots and carrots as several of the ingredients, and “tortang talong” or eggplant fritters that goes well with banana ketchup or vinegar and all these dishes go with a rice

At usually pag nasa US kana di masyado napupuna english mo dahil takot yung iba na tawagin racist kaya di masyado ulit naayos yung english.

Filipino feast looks yummy. But beware eating them. Some people might get sick eating from it (i.e food poison). Most of their foods are not gluten free, contained MSG and artificial food coloring.
