      Antes como ahora, en un grupo la voz es lo primordial y si en un concierto se va la luz!!???!??!?!?!' pues seria un desastre con tanto autotune y demás efectos que le agregan hoy en dia.
      A Brad le das una guitarra y te canta igual (Sin reverb ni amplificación) pero seguro que sonará igual.

      Este señor tenía un timbre que con el aire armónico y folky suena descomunal. Me he acordado de este grupo por la voz.. Mientras escuchaba a type o negative.. Poco tienen que ver, pero ambos cantantes tenían unas cualidades y una sonoridad única o muy peculiar.. A gustos.. Dese luego.. Buenísimos los dummies

    • @Romans8-9
      @Romans8-9 3 місяці тому +1

      @@JoEbY-X Tbh I don't think people were too concerned with offending Christians back then. In any case, the original verse mocks Pentecostals who speak in tongues "gibberish" and roll around on the floor claiming to be healed. These people should be mocked because it is a false and UnBiblical teaching.

      Its this mix at the Arsenio Show. It kinda baffles me when bands and/or the venues(shows) do not maximize the mixes at their board. You can hear ALOT of missed opportunities over the years with alot of bands. This is one of the examples of how GOOD these performances and mixes can be. The mix on the rooftop performance by the Beatles was finally maximized a few years back when they released the official video for one of the songs(Dont Let Me Down) here on UA-cam. The mix is not as good as this one, but it is about as good as you could hope for with an almost 50 year old recording. Even though the most popular act of all time was being recorded, they didnt have access to the very best equipment in the world at that time(whether by hook, crook, or pinch), believe it or not.

      Well, Brad said in a few interviews it's about outcasts, that's what ties all the lil composite stories. I think once you suffer through child abuse, you do feel like an outsider. "One kid had it worse than that"....I'm sure that's the lyric that strikes a chord with folks. Back in the 90s, DV was just getting into the public eye/getting talked about regularly.....so it make sense, for sure.

Honestly the bass player's the only one that has a little bit of free rein in this song I just uploaded a rough draft version of me doing this song and the guitar pretty straightforward not a lot of room for any type of improvising it's pretty much driving the Rhythm with the piano and also did upload a good enough final version of the B side of this single Superman song anybody gives a s*** and wants to hear somebody that can't f****** sing play and sing it in their living room it's on my Channel with the rest of my living room guitar player crap. Y es un grande Brad con su voz bajo-barítono 🤙🏼

      What do you think prompted that story?

    • @Alexander3487
      @Alexander3487 2 роки тому +1

      @@OneHourShower just like in the three original stories, it was something that happened to him or someone he knew.

      2023 here. I wonder if they opted for the changed 3rd verse because some American viewers might have been super uncomfortable with the fact that in the original song it is pretty obvious that the kid in the story was not on board with his weird Pentecostal parents.
