Thank you for describing the texture as watery. They call it a serum so imagined it would be thicker. I panicked when it pumped out so watery. Loving the 10% option for my sensitive skin, hoping to work up to the 20%

I finally just started this timeless 20% & I mix it with the pycnogenol 5% (learned from you) & since my skin is dry I find doing this keeps it looking plump & hydrated so thank you again 🙏🏻

I used to use the 20% and then I started experiencing burning so I stopped. So glad to see the 10%. Last week I bought 2 of the smaller because it was on sale. I put one in the frig, in the box. I haven’t had any issues with the pump.

The first bottle I ordered leaked really badly but they replaced it. Haven't had any issues with any bottles since!

@@SincerelyMissAsh It doesn't leak for me and the pump bottle is better for keeping oxygen away from the product.
I use the 30ml 20% serum and I’ve never had a problem with it leaking or running down the side of the bottle.

You are welcome... It may be a hit or miss as it looks like some people are not experiencing the leaking so I don't know what to say as I have always experienced it but in general this vitamin c is lovely.

The glass droppers lead to significantly faster oxidation. Pumps are better.
Thank you for this review. I agree about the packaging. I liked the blue glass bottle better with the dropper. I’ve been using Timeless for three years and I love it. I do have dry skin in the winter months, so maybe the 10 % won’t be as drying. I’ll give it a try 😊
You're welcome!! Yes!! The dropper bottles were great but then of course there was always that worry about oxidizing 👎🏻 I think the 10% would be great for the winter months..
Can we use these with aha serum, i usually use a vitamin c derivative along with an aha serums but im not sure how using L-ascorbic and aha's go together.
How many drops do you use that yours only last 2 months? I've heardothers say that theirs last 6 months but I don't know how many drops they use
I got extremely dry flaky skin on my cheeks and under my eyes a day after using the 20% timeless vit c serum. Ive never had that happen to my skin before and it has happened 3 times (i waited a few days in between trying it again).
Ill see if my skin can gradually tolerate it but if it doesnt is there a way to apply less/dilute it with another product underneath it so it is not so sensitising to my skin cos it stings for a minute and like i said makes it dry and flaky the next day.
I had the 20% but just couldn't handle it on my face. I decided to go with Ghost Democracy's Lightbulb serum. It's 18% of a derivative (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) along with a few other antioxidants besides ferulic and vitamin E like 0.05% bakuchiol, 0.5% bisabolol, 1.9% of vitamin E. They don't list their percentage of ferulic acid, but it's in there, and I'm gonna guess it's around 0.5% like in most vitamin C serums. I've never had an issue, and I love it. I've definitely seen results using it. I used the rest of my Timeless 20% up sparingly on my hands to fight aging since you show signs of aging there first.

Does anyone know if the 4 oz bottle leaks? It has a slightly different design then the other two sizes.
Does anyone know what the pH of this product is? I know the 20% has a pH of around 2.8 but I’m wondering if this is a higher pH! Thank you so much!
I was using Timeless and I have had the same problem with the liking. I am trying a new vitamine C product since a week and I really like it, it is a Canadian product from the All Natural Advice Cie. Let me know if you know it.

Great review! I've been wanting to try this but 20% is too high for my sensitive skin. I've been enjoying the ordinary ascorbic acid/arbutin and it has a long shelf life. I add resveratrol/ferulic to it. Do you know if the timeless has fragrance added to it?

I have tried a lot of other vit c serums, including the super expensive one, I really love Timeless, the packaging is great because the product is so well protected from the environment reducing oxidation. I personally haven’t had any issue with leaking.

Yes I do but one should be careful applying it to the under eyes as it is at a higher concentration.

I have recently started using timeless 20% and I am noticing I am starting to break out. I don't usually so is this normal when you start using this particular product?
Starting Vitamin C, Peptides, Niacinamide, Tretinoin with sunscreen of course from 20 onwards is what I'm banking on to keep me looking young forever. But only time will tell.
I had the same problems with the leakage but I figured out that if u keep the bottle straight vertically when pressing the pump then its doesn't leak. This way you can apply it straight to ur face tho
mine leaks no matter what but it works well
Just bought the 20% timeless vitamin C. Heard it from Dr dray channel.
I've just received mine and really convened about the colour and smell... my previous vit c was by The Ordinary and had no smell.. but the Timeless 20% c ferulic acid, E has a smell of smokey hotdogs and is not clear....it has more of a yellow tint to it... it was sealed, have I got one that is out of date? Was yours like this? thanks
The large size might be for family. It will also be gone in 3 months when multiple people use it.
I also use Timeless, but I never had leaking problem with the container. Last time, I bought 120 ml, it is more than 6 months I have it and the color is still the same. I finish 30 ml in 2 months, so 120 ml should take 7 to 8 months. I keep it in the fridge.
Oh that is great to know regarding the larger bottle... Perhaps I will try the larger size next!

@@silavie1378 I have never tried Skinceutical, so I cannot compare it with Timeless. I’ve got brighter and more even tone skin with Timeless. There are very good reviews about it. However, if you can afford skinceutical, I think that is better than Timeless. Timeless does the job I expect, so I’m happy about it

I adore all the results I got from their 20% version- it gave me better results than Skinceuticals because that one oxidizes too quickly despite being really good early on.
So glad they came out with a half-dose version because I’ve encountered many people state that the 20% Timeless serum was way too potent for their sensitive/reactive skin
I saw that timeless is doing a sale on vitamin c serum, and i'm going to buy it. but if i leave it unopened until i finish using my current bottle, would that result in oxidation?
The longer it is sitting around whether it's been opened or not it can oxidize based on my experience. If you plan on using it as soon as your vitamin c is done then you should be fine but just remember the longer it sits around the less likely it will remain fresh.
I was annoyed when they changed package. I wish they go back to the blue glass bottle & dropper, so much easier to use.
Because this has a lower ph should I apply my hydrating toner after instead of before
You can apply your toner before or you can apply it after. I personally like to apply my face mist first then my vitamin c.

I got finally got one of the airless pump bottles that leaked. It wasted more product then I used. Sad because I my previous 3 didn’t leak. I now wish they had an option on packaging because I’d go back to the dropper.
Yeah it's pretty frustrating and I also preferred the dropper as well but pumps are great too (obviously when they don't leak) to prevent oxidization..
My last container leaked. I contacted them and they sent me a replacement. But the replacement was starting to oxidize. It is dated 5/23/21.I contacted them again and never heard back. If it wasn't so darn good I would not order it again. I was, however, going to buy the CoQ10 serum because I was so impressed with the swift replacement but will not do that now. :( They need to improve the packaging! Such a fantastic product otherwise.
I agree! The pump needs to be improved. I do like pumps as this prevents the vitamin c from oxidizing so quickly but having a pump that leaks isn't cool🙈

Apply 1-2 pumps to face and neck daily in the morning.
I like Timeless however the container leaks from the bottom! It has happened every time, they had to send me new ones three times. The last time they sent the new bottle, it was delivered in a plastic bag, not a box, and there was no protective plastic cover on it so the bottle completely leaked during transit. I was appalled! I have not ordered since then. They are aware of the packaging issues, but what’s their excuse for the product being shipped like that? Really sucks because I would like to order again, however I don’t want to take chances again. I always order 120ml. Maybe I can try the 30 ml. I always keep it in the fridge where it leaked, so keep it in a zip lock bag to save yourself from cleaning your fridge.

What is the vitamin c derivative you use ?

i bought my 1st timeless vit. c on a blue bottle with dropper. it's really fantastic.its colorless and smells good. then i bought new one. on orange container. the color is slightly orange and the smell is weird. is that normal on the new packaging?? thank you for your reply.
The serum will be clear but with a slight slight orange hue to it. Mine does have a scent as well but it's very subtle. Most L-Ascorbic Acids will have this type of smell..

I just used the 20% and I didn't think it should look like water. I was totally surprised it didn't look like a white cream. So this is ok?
Yes, this formulation has a watery consistency so it's completely ok!

Yes.. Most L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C's (when fresh) will be clear with a slight yellow/orange hue to it and then as it starts to oxidize that colour will become darker and sometimes cloudy. The scent is normal as well...

Yes! I put all of my vitamin c's in the fridge..
How long will this last if used daily?
Generally for me a 30ml will lasts 4-5 weeks once a day but it depends on how much you are using and how often of course.
I bought the yellow one vitamin c, and the color wasn't crystal white, it's a light yellow.. is this safe to use? Hope you'll answer.
It should be safe but it means that it has started to oxidize which means it won't be as effective as it's lost it's potency. I would contact Timeless and complain

My bottle has a weird fishy smell. Could it be expired?
Yeah it sounds like it to me. I would contact them.
So how do you know if it has gone bad? I made the mistake and stocked up with good price…
Usually the colour is the first indication.. It will usually become darker, sometimes it will go a little cloudy and the scent can be off as well. As long as you stored it in a cool dark place it should be ok.

Yes.. The serum "when fresh" should be clear with a slight slight tinge of yellow.

Yes!! The dropper was really nice but there was always that worry about it oxidizing quicker since it's being exposed to air. Pro's and Con's for sure lol!

I recently purchased the timeless 20% Vitamin C and started to use it. Is it just me or does this serum have a weird smell, almost like bacon.
Yes this is quite normal when it comes to L-Ascorbic Acids.. They will have this type of scent to it... I find it smells a little smokey but everyone has different noses haha..

I live in Canada, and this company is charging $13.50 USD for shipping. This is ridiculous! I guess I have no choice.
Yes I pay for shipping too and it is unfortunate but they do have sales from time to time. I also order from Count On Us which is Canadian.
I just went on the website to order but with the shipping to Canada for 1 oz it's $40.49US so in CDN$ to pay over $50 every 2 months is too expensive. I thought of trying The Ordinary but Dr. Dray really gives it bad reviews. I guess I'll keep looking.
