Absolutely my swing plane when I get the sh#*! This video was precisely what I needed, I can't wait to try it during my next practice round, thank you!
That’s brilliant to read, pleased this resonates with you so you can really work on this in your game. Keep me posted and if there’s anything you’d like me to cover tips/ drills wise let me know!
Excellent job Harry in using your student and the adjustments that you made to his swing! I have to admit, I have hit a few of those S---ks during some tournament rounds and they are embarrassing. I like the way you moved your student back slightly to give his swing a little more room, slightly raise the butt end of the club and not swing the club toward the target. Another thing I picked up on was that in the iron swing the backswing should be more vertical and the right arm should cover the right shoulder. On the downswing, the left hip fires to the left and the hands follow. I shouldn't have any problem with this move, since I swing in to out anyway. All excellent points Harry! Well Done!
Thanks John, pleased you picked up on the setup changes and the hands following through. Yes absolutely, if you’re an in to our golfers anyway this should be great!
Excellent. I would appreciate a video about how to launch an iron higher. I struggle to get 75-80 feet height and 40 degree descent angle with 6 and 7 irons. Thank you.
Never thought much about having the handle too low at setup. I think I need to retrospectively thank my club fitter of last year to increase my club length from 3/4 inch to 1.1/4, which I initially thought he did just to help my stiff back.
Thank you, and not necessarily. It all depends on whether you let the club drop first before turning to hit the ball (getting the hands and club under the stick to begin the downswing) will give you the control.
I found myself getting over connected in the backswing as shown in this video. I will implement your technique into my swing, cheers!
You're very welcome, thanks for commenting, let me know how you get on!

Hi thanks for commenting with a great video idea… will take note of this!

There you go, custom fitting certainly makes a difference to the swing… in many good ways!
Impressive !!! One question, with that downswing feel, won't we only do some fades ?
