I’ve been thinking about getting a separate overdrive so I can stack my ds-2 with something other than my fuzz and boost pedal. I like the Joyo ultimate drive, it’s pretty similar to the OCD pedal
@@frusciantegeartone sounds interesting😃for real I don't got a crunch or normal overdrive pedal, neither a fuzz. Just my TURBOOOOOO DISTORTIOONNN and a Treble Booster that's it, beside of a vox wah wah, ultra wah by behringer which is used for the psychodelic sounds, harley benton digital delay, which is pretty good and a boss CE-5.
@@FarmerSlideJoeBob nice setup! Sounds like you can do enough with those pedals. If you’re looking for a fuzz, watch Ryan from 60 cycle hum (if you haven’t already). He compares affordable fuzz pedals. Also, I watched a video recently on flangers and how they can sound like choruses, rotary, univibe, vibrato, and a couple other sounds, with tweaking the knobs. I need to look into a flanger myself. Looking at either Joyo analog flanger or boss (purple one). Sometimes less is more 😆
@@frusciantegeartone Gotta check this fuzz out including the video😃In my early hardcore frusciante days, I was too deep into his effect pedals. Flanger was also a cool thing to me but mostly thinking in combination witg Rory Gallagher. My Setup is fine, but beside of the nice vox wah wah, I realised, after I've been using the Ibanez Wah, I do more appreciate the ibanez wah for his aggressive sound. So years went by and I changed from frusciante soundstyle to clapton blues style and now it's completly different thing when I've been using effects and how I use them🙂
@@FarmerSlideJoeBob do you run your distortion before Ibanez wah? It sounds so great after the wah. It almost takes some of that harshness away. The Ibanez wah I’m using has the Wilson’s effects mod to where you can control the volume. Huge improvement on not blowing my ears out everytime. Def worth upgrading.

I've been using the TURBOOOOO DISTORTIONNNN for Years and I like it, but I choose for a sweet crunch the SD-1 and for a Fuzz let me see🤔
