Visited exactly the same fixture 2 years ago. Absolutely love the atmosphere there. Shame my game ended 0-0, but would love to come back to this stadium!
Also, that's not a washing machine advert. That's the theme song to a popular TV show of the 80's/90's. I absolutely popped for it when I heard it hahah
For an England game I advise going to Southend vs Dagenham and Redbridge. Massive game on Monday. Also a derby. If not all good. Loving these videos. Keep up the good work.
Great video! Was in Mainz just over a week ago, and it was great talking to the people in the shop about Bundesliga and English football! Just the passion and love of football they have their is fantastic, let alone how brilliant the stadium is!
Mainz is a great spot for all Brits who fancy a good drink before, during or after the game. Every Saturday from march til november you can get wine from local wine producers on the market you visited. They‘re open from 9AM to 3PM so lots of locals go there to get some pre drinks in. A Weinschorle (0,4L of a 50:50 wine and sparkling water mix) is about 5€ and gets you drunk VERY quickly. Also the city has lots of nice bars and pubs where travellers are always welcome.
Frankfurt, Koln or BvB would be nice… Btw, there is a little Italian restaurant at the HBF, I dont know if its still there, but I miss the pizzas there… Its called Da Vito btw.
For me you can’t beat going games in Germany and Poland. Atmospheres always great. Beautiful cities. Great beer. Great stadiums. Makes you realise how boring football is in England.
Mystery Game Days only caters UK airports. I was really looking forward to checking out a game, but being a Dutchy, I ended up clicking the site away 😢
my guess would be - by bus. There are public transport lines between Hahn Airport and Mainz Main Station. Strange that a bus ticket doesn't seem to be included in the package, though.
@@arthur_p_dent having match day ticket usually means you get to use local public transport for free but josh was there the night before the game, when I went to watch Mainz a few times, I flew to Frankfurt international airport once and Hahn once and it took me 3 hours to get there from Hahn but less than one hour from international
Before you spend £300 on a mystery game days please tell me there isn’t a slight chance you could be sent to a game like morcambe v Fleetwood and booked in a shitty little hotel 😂
Mystery football packages all well and good untill you end up at Chorley Vs Southport in the national league north 😂
What's wrong with that. At least its English non league. Which is the best non league
Don’t think that would happen anyways because you chose your preferred airport to go from 😂wouldn’t mind a Chorley vs Southport game day tho😂
@@samuelpinder1215Well, that's your opinion. I'd rather sit at a non-league game in Poland.
@@Dutchology yeah non league and sitting don't go together here. Proper football you get to stand
@@samuelpinder1215 You shouldn't read it so serious, you know what i mean.
