I was at this game! You can even see me celebrating with my white hoodie for the goals in the first half. Travelled an hour from 2 counties away to see the game, and what a game it was. As a Portadown fan, a qualification for Larne is a qualification for the whole league. It’s a shame they didn’t get Chelsea at home.
The1 in 10 support from the town of 19000 is good going ,but Ross County hammer that with Dingwall having a population of 5550 and they get attendance of 4000.
On a similar ratio, Tranmere in EFL league 2 had population of 11,668 in last census of 2021 and had opening day attendance this season of over 8,000 and historically have had higher still. Confidently expecting a gate of over 10,000 if a successful season this year. What makes it all the more remarkable is that we have two of the English games largest clubs that dominate (in a way you cannot imagine) the local media and between them now have a combined unbroken spell of top flight football extending over 130 years both within about a four mile radius of our ground. Tranmere don't get enough credit for their fans loyalty and their continued overachievement in the face of such opposition.
Shame you spoiled the video by posting who won in the description. When they were 3-1 down it would have been much more tense for me watching. Congrats to Larne great achievement.
In terms of support from population to attendances then surely ross county has to be best in UK and Ireland, Dingwall population around 5500 and they average around 4500 a game so around 80% of towns population
the percentage of population going to games is similar if not better at many clubs in Scotland. e.g. Dingwall has a population of only 5000. Motherwell has population of 32k and easily hit over 10%. Dunfermline population roughly 50k and average attendance last year 5500.
So proud of Larne. They have smashed the glass ceiling for Irish League clubs in Europe! This is massive for Norn Iron football!

Really enjoyable vlog as always!
Wow I only watch Gaelic football but fair play to Larne well done👏
I seen ya sitting on the railing in front of the chippy in the first half.
Great result for Larne....well done from a Blues man.
Great content as always
What a video honestly 🔥🔥
Well done Larne
Saw u on the camera at the end of the match. Was waiting for this
Saw you on BBC coverage and reminded me I haven't checked in your channel for a while
I just saw my club drew against them for an away game. Will be special to play against them (from Ghent, Belgium)
So glad that Northern Ireland finally get into the Group Stage, Well done Larne!
Good Irish Club 🫡☘️🇮🇪

Did not expect to see Nico 😊
the percentage of population going to games is similar if not better at many clubs in Scotland. e.g. Dingwall has a population of only 5000. Motherwell has population of 32k and easily hit over 10%. Dunfermline population roughly 50k and average attendance last year 5500.
