I believe that was true in past editions but not the old world? Feel free to link me to some rules if I'm wrong. I think this is all they get: tow.whfb.app/characters/lone-characters Edit: turns out they ARE skirmishers. Thank you! For others, Rule reference is here: tow.whfb.app/characters/characters-and-formations
Good catch! In past editions (which I'm used to), the step forward rule wouldn't have prevented the rangers from attacking, so I let them attack out of habit. However, "The Old World" rules for Stepping Forward are pretty clear you're correct: tow.whfb.app/removing-casualties/stepping-forward Flanking just got even stronger
Making the audio mono or editing it a bit would have made this a lot better, it's basically only coming through from the right and it's super distracting, other than that I liked the editing and report!
Lone characters are always considered to be skirmishing
Isn’t that just for infantry models, don’t others get a choice to be open or closed order if they have the rule … just wondering
@@fiskcakes infantry and cav, yeah. And others don't get a choice - monsters are closed order
Exellent battle report! You made interesting and informative video. But, please, add army lists in video.
Okay! Noticed for next time. I started with a verbal rundown, but I could see how a list including options/equipment would be nice!
Really great report!
19:23 Lone characters have Skirmish formation so have 360 vision arc

@@lancedolan Go to "Characters & Formations": "A Lone character is always considered to be in a Skirmish formation."
Yeah, any Infantry or Cavalry line character is skirmish. Monsters and Behemoths don't, but Monstrous Infantry and Monstrous Cav aren't Monsters
Whoaaaa. Thanks guys!
@Downvotingpeople which means slap that Spellweaver on a Warhawk for maximum shenanigans
Well done sir!
Fun to watch! Cheers!
16:45 Dp made 2 kills, so no return attacks from the rangers.
Woops! Thanks!
Wouldn't make this mistake these days. Been playing a lot and skilling uo
23:50 im pretty new - how is the wildwood ranger able to swing back? hasn't he been killed by the DP?

should've done fire and flee with the deepwood scouts instead of stand and shoot!
I was going to. I measured and they were surprisingly close to running off the board. Chance was too high
Nice report, thanks for sharing. :)
Great report! Take a subscribe, sir!

Dang I'll have to look into that. Playing both speakers on my current device but I might be able to reproduce on other devices.
