Kaike Shogetsu, Yonago, Japan - Fantastic pond and superb view of the beach

Kaike Onsen is a scenic hot spring resort with a beautiful coastline of white sand and green pines and Mt.Daisen, which looks much like Mt.Fuji. The spring water is sodium calcium chloride spring. It is salty when licked. The hot water volume is abundant at 4456.5 liters per minute. Kaike Onsen is also known as the birthplace of triathlon in Japan. The region is home to one of Japan's leading fishing ports and Mt.Daisen, with its extensive beech forests, and is rich in food and water from the sea and mountains.
This will be my third visit to Kaike Shogetsu. It is my favorite ryokan because of its location along the coast, the spectacular sea view from the room, and the fantastic pond in the Japanese garden. Because of the cold weather, the coast was covered with snow on that day. The blue lights at night were beautiful against the white snow. The sea was also rough, and I could see the powerful waves. However, Mt. Daisen was covered by clouds and only faintly visible in the morning. Fresh sashimi, red snow crab, and Wagyu beef for dinner are the standard dishes at Kaike Onsen Hot Springs. Hot spring baths include separate large men's and women's baths and four private open-air baths.
Yonago City, where Kaike Onsen Hot Springs is located, is 1 hour and 20 minutes from Tokyo, 2 hours and 45 minutes from Hong Kong, and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Seoul by air.
