Dope!! First heard this cut on a college radio station in St. Louis back in '90. Cold Chillin' shoulda put it on "Take A Look Around instead of makin' us have to buy that terrible "Movin On (RMX)" to get it!!
Damn, we might've been listening to the same thing. I heard it on KDHX's "African Alert" radio show (Friday nights) in 1990, too. At the time I lived in the shithole known as Jacksonville, IL (not originally from there, and I've long since moved the hell away, thank God). That show's one of the few things that kept me sane while living in that racist cesspool of a town.
This did the rounds as a white label in Soho, London, then vanished! Wasn't it a double 'A' side cut? Other side was heavy too, can't recall it's name, is it on youtube yet? Good to hear this again.
LOVE IT THUMBS UP , A few of my people have got a new thing we do on our UA-cam comments it's call " queue suggestion " And I suggest "Money In The Bank" Kool G Rap after you bump this gem
Man i knew i wasn't crazy i remember WBLS would play this to be honest the main reason why i bought his album iz cuz i thought this song wuz on the album. Good looking thebronxnyc. Im from the north Bronx E. 213th st by Evander high.
What was that song at 0:12, the vocal samples at 0:34, 0:38, 0:44, 0:49, 0:54, 0:59, and 1:04, laid over The Honey Drippers beat and a Johnny Cash sample?

Looking at the notes below I see it was a remix of 'Movin On' on the flip, yeah... Sirens and that!
Yeah,I picked it up a while back so I could have it on a CD,'cause the tape got kinda raggedy over the years.
