Any car that can make it through an entire Talbot video without being totally destroyed is definitely tough!!! This was a great time thanks for posting!
Both of those took some very hard hits. However, the XRT took that insane corner strike of that ramp ... and it soldiered on. That was insanely impressive.
The reason why the car twists during a front flip is due to the intermediate axis theorem. A simple solution is just applying reverse throttle after applying the brakes while being airborne. The reverse throttle makes the wheels spin and the car doesn't twist anymore due to the gyroscopic effect of the rotating wheels
Right and hitting the jump straight on helps a lot also, hitting a ramp at an angle throws off the geometry of the truck especially when doing a front flip.
The Version 2 Arrma Outcast 8S EXB is absolutely impressive. 😍 It’s awesome to see the classic review format return, and the Imar D300 charger is a perfect complement. Looking forward to seeing more of this beast in action!
Wow, the Version 2 Arrma Outcast 8S EXB is truly impressive! 😍 It’s great to see the classic review style back. The Imar D300 charger is a fantastic addition too. Can’t wait to see more of this beast in action!
Definitely seems tougher. Funny thing is, I didn't think the Outcast had too many durability problems. From watching this channel I thought it was the Kraton 8s that lacked durability. Great work as always Kev!
I've had a bunch of Eco Power WP120T standard servos in my crawlers and bashers. They've always been solid for me. I'm definitely going to have to get the 1/5 servo for sure if it's anything like the smaller servos. It looks pretty solid with almost 900 oz of torque. 👊👊👍👍
Yoo best way to do back flips is to let go of throttle right before you hit the ramp then hit the throttle 100% right before you’re about to leave the ramp to make your truck wheelie! This is how to get crazy triple and quad flips 🤙🏾
I have the roller OC8S EXB with a max5/800kv combo and it’s a tank. Only major upgrade I’ve done is Vitavon diff housing/driveshafts since it snapped the factory pins so easily. Other than that it just takes a kicking! I also got a lot more top end speed by putting earplugs in the center diff, from factory it sends most of the power to the front wheels at top speed.
Wait, am I at the right place? Wasn't this channel going to be the Yoga and Mental Exercise and Introspection channel, and the new RC channel would have the Trucks and Buggies going _To The Moon?_ I WANT YOGA KEV! (wink)
Front flips go funny because you lose the gyroscopic stability from the wheels spinning. Backflips are fine because you're accelerating to pull them off. Once you cut the throttle to drop the nose, your lateral stabiliser is gone - like a motorcycle can stay upright at speed without a rider, but falls over easily when it's stopped. I've experimented with this using software and hardware with an Arduino jump-lander some years back. Wheel speed really matters! No speed, no gyro affect = wonky time!
Almost 10,000 views and not even a half hour surely these people are paying you a good chunk of change to do these videos for them because you're bringing hell up publicity to them😊
Just a suggestion Kev, some of us WOULD be interested in seeing proper some gear reviews and “How to” videos - like that new charger you briefly showed. Just a thought.
Traxxas headquarters gave the approval for this review and for the last jump directly into that fence, maybe the chassis breaks, but it seems not Traxxas, it didn't break
To front flip clean you need the front wheels centered when you launch. Any turn in the wheels and the car spins. Also sweet backflip with both trucks at the same time 🤙🏻
Just in case normal humans are reading: I jumped the Arrma typhon (alum chassis) off 8th scale triple jumps and miffed the landing many times, not a hair out of place. Mr. Talbot puts bashers to the most extreme possible limits. If you don't obliterate it from orbit, arrma chassis seems sturdy.
All through out the video I was thinking you know hpi upgraded the 1st gen savage just like this after learning the weak points and nocked the x out of the park. Nice to see arma doing the same. And then we were treated to a savage at the end, yeehaaw. You gotta admit they were onto it with the TVP, when it comes to aluminum, the arma upper bracing is providing a similar larger moment of inertia, I.e. the when you bend a ruler on the straight edge vs the bendy part. The pan provide lateral strength, I.e. a ruler with strong axis in both primary directions of loading. Sweet great video.
I think back flip is easyer cuz the wheel spinning works almost like a gyroscope and stabilize the car, while on front flip you stop the wheels so you dont have controll
I have the OG Outcast 8s and it is a really fun truck but it does have its weak points. Definitely recommend rpm a arms front and back and m2c racing shock shafts makes it watbmore durable
For the front flip question; when car jumps wheels work like gyro and hold car stable. If you make front flip, you need to brake when in air so wheels stop turning. Gyroscope won't work if you're not turning the wheels.

This is the reason my daughter and I love watching your videos. You show the good and the bad in every rc.
90% of your audience loved to see these kinds of videos honestly Kevin
Yup

Absolutely. This is the winning formula for Kevin

It definitely looks more tough than the previous versions, which is great because I've always loved how the outcast looks.
Both of those took some very hard hits. However, the XRT took that insane corner strike of that ramp ... and it soldiered on. That was insanely impressive.
Christmas every day!

Happy Halloween 🎃

This is true, and he's said it quite a lot before on this channel as well

This dude makes his childhood proud, in childhood we always wanted these cars, didn't get it good brother hats off to you
Awesome Kev!! Arrma is killin' it with this vers2!! 😎👍
The Version 2 Arrma Outcast 8S EXB is absolutely impressive. 😍
It’s awesome to see the classic review format return, and the Imar D300 charger is a perfect complement.
Looking forward to seeing more of this beast in action!
Lock the center diff, it'll backflip way easier. It's definitely WAY tougher and more powerful than the last version.
Wow, the Version 2 Arrma Outcast 8S EXB is truly impressive! 😍
It’s great to see the classic review style back.
The Imar D300 charger is a fantastic addition too. Can’t wait to see more of this beast in action!
I'm so happy to have found your channel years ago and the RC commmunity altogether!! Have a great day 🛻🚗
Those jumps are crazy.. hope no one ever gets hit by these things..
7075 aluminum is very tough, had an Emaxx fully converted to it
I absolutely love this channel. I need to get in on these contests!!!
Definitely seems tougher. Funny thing is, I didn't think the Outcast had too many durability problems. From watching this channel I thought it was the Kraton 8s that lacked durability. Great work as always Kev!
They're just about the same truck, just different chassis lengths, wheels, and tires. So if one breaks, expect the same of the other
Agreed, my old version 8S Outcast takes a beating!! But the Kratons are way more fragile
Awesome stuff Kev. Love the V2 O8s EXB and nice driving with the XRT Andy 🍻
These are the videos we want! Realistic usage of awesome r/cs and NO MAX UNNECESSARY DESTRUCTION!!

It feels like it's more durable than before.👍👍👍
Really good to watch Kev...Andy is a good driver and brought his own car to bash..thanks guys.
We had a great laugh with the Rc’s that day, Glad you liked the vid
The V2 EXB seems really sorted! Especially the much larger Motor and Servo 👍
The motor can definitely take some high gearing no worries.
It's a Dream come true!!!!!!!!! A beast I love it Thank you Kevin
Salut elle sont trop belles tes voitures 👍👍👍
Already had the batteries you got an charger. So I had to go get the car! It’s bad ass!
KEVIN WE NEED MORE XRT CONTENT PLEASE!!
Fantastic... Loving the silence and apreciation of the peel on that charger screen!!
gotta love the gens ace charger, thats what I have
Always having too much fun!!! She's tough outta the box, but soon she'll be M2C TOUGH!!! Thanks for posting!
This is literally my dream I would love to just have one of these cars
Just have to work hard and save for it!! I started in the hobby 6 months ago and now have 5 3s-6s bashers! This hobby is super fun and addicting!
And I’ll be getting this truck, the outlast 8s EXB tomorrow! Can’t wait.
@mitchellg849 I want to get this as my first car do you think it ended up being a good purchase? And does it really break as easily?
MAHHOOOOOOSIVE!!!!!😂😂😂❤❤❤

This is the only RC channel that survived my childhood
The way you pushed though that door Kev, ha good stuff. Love the car
Good to see the old videos back again. Love it when you showcase a car then abuse it 😂😂😂

You should reallt try the WLToys 104016 brushless truck. It's better than you'd think!
Look at all that extra weight you’re going to add to an Arrma truck…. Can’t wait to see the chassis bend on that baby!
I really liked the first, more cinematic style, montage. It was nice!
Whatever camera was used to film outdoors in this video looks very high quality. It feels very fluid with movements and color saturation.
Yes! the classic review is back ❤👌👌👍👍
Better than xmax, its nice!
it made me so sad when you said "its getting it now" i did not expect you to destroy such an awsome car.
Good job Kevin!!😊

Ive been debating about which one to get myself. Thanks Kev, just made it harder for me lol
Damn iam an old nitro guy and these electric r/c just dominates from torque to speed , iam a believer now lol
Absolutely love that your putting a link to the original video. Fantastic stuff.
7:22 - back of the Raminator 😃 new video of the beast soon ??? ⛽️👍😁👍👍
That rc passion bro I absolutely love it all the way here in South Africa
This is a tough and very sturdy stunt truck!😄😄😄
TECHNO BABBLE, love that term
Identic intro : ouhhhh Christmas Every Day! 🎉😂
Man I'd love to have either one.
Well well well, Arrma still at it again as usual lol. 1000 for the car, 500 in upgrades just to make it into a Traxxas.
Love it.
its fine right out of the box. It doesn't need any upgrades, i just want to upgrade it, all part of the hobby for me
@@KevinTalbotTV I'm a traxxas fanboy with an XRT. I just like talking trash to the arrma boys lol
Kev ya gotta smash the brake as soon as the front end leaves the ramp! Helps keep the rear stable 💯 👊 great video buddy
That new RC truck is really cool
I am behind on your vids. I better see if you bend it and what breaks.
Kevin: I need to get rid of some of my rc's.
Also Kevin: I just bought 12 more rc's.

The XRT nose dives like a french bull dog kissing the dirt....... 😂🤣😂🤣
Oh my God that thing is a freaking beast!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Only guy I know that can wreck a truck taking it out of the box!!!
Mine has been insane! Stock electronics were great even on 25/39 but ultimately wanted more.

You should do the arrma truck
Traxxas headquarters gave the approval for this review and for the last jump directly into that fence, maybe the chassis breaks, but it seems not Traxxas, it didn't break
Aarma watching this like “👀 did we do good this time?”
You're awesome dude! Keep doing what you do! Perfect positive attitude!

Just got my 1st RC. Used Arrma Senton 3s 4x4. Not what I wanted but it's still fun.
I loved the OG Edit and the music with it 😅
I think back flip is easyer cuz the wheel spinning works almost like a gyroscope and stabilize the car, while on front flip you stop the wheels so you dont have controll
I’m happy your finally gonna be using a balance charger. All lipos should have one
I have the OG Outcast 8s and it is a really fun truck but it does have its weak points. Definitely recommend rpm a arms front and back and m2c racing shock shafts makes it watbmore durable
Kev, this video was awesome. Total fun in the park
“Sun in my eyes” thats what they all say! 😂😂
