I put ear plugs in my Arrma Kraton 1/5 EXB now it does wheelies and flips off jumps with stock system. And spur. I do like both but for all purposes it was my first choice when I got the 1/8th scale version of the Karton and still going. Love Arrma now I own 8 Arrma s.
I definitely want to try adding some earplugs. I think I am going to upgrade the Kraton to the castle 2028. It seems like it can handle more power than the Outcast that just wants to flip already.
Thanks for making this video , I find it very useful . I just pick up a Outcast 8S two days ago , yet to try out.
Will try out tomorrow , if I find is fun , most likely I will get the Kraton 8S also.

I've got both bro, think I'd give the points to the outcast only cause I jump more than I blast but when I blast the kraton is still a lot of fun. I've also now got the new V2 exb outcast 8s and that is my favourite atm in the 1/5 scale world.👍
How do you like the V2 compared to the original? Are the changes noticeable?
@mzgarage v2 is a lot stronger than v1 but the v1 will keep up with a couple of upgrades I think 👍

What should i have between kraton 6s, outcast 6s, erevo 6s. Can you help me pls 😢😢
I have never drove any of those, but I would imagine the Outast 6s and Kraton 6s would share the same similarities/differences. Depends what you want to do with them? The e-revo and Kraton are truggy's style and probably handle similarly. I am Arrma guy, so I would go with the one of those.

I would go with the Kraton or E Revo, the Outcast will flip better thoough.

I would say the e revo and kraton would be more similar. The talion has much smaller tires and sits lower, it will likley handle better at higher speeds, but will not do as well on rougher terrain. The answer is to get both, eventually! lol

Well it’s neither of those 2, take it out box stock and that chassis will bend like warm butter.

One has been discontinued and can't be purchased? What are we even talking about? Who cares which one is better? Reminds me of another reviewer on UA-cam, he had a big Hummer that he gave a very positive review that you couldn't buy. You can't win them all. But I would have to go with the Kraton. It obviously handles better. Perfect for a track exactly as you said. It's forte is variable terrain and doing it fast. I have a Redcat Blackout Suburban that's exactly like that and it'll go 80. It's 3s and has a 120 amp 4900 KV motor in it. And it's still factory plastic. It screams. And you don't need wheelie bars on it. It doesn't try to pull a wheelie, it's just gone. LOL Since the Kraton's not trying to flip and wheelie all the time either, it's much better balanced under power and using all it's energy to go forward. Like it has a gyro in it. My Blackout does. Gotta be a winner on the track. If she'll hold together. I can't break my Blackout. But I have gone through 5 bodies. So you pay one way or another. Can you get larger pinion gears for them? How far can you gear them and how much speed does that represent? I can't imagine 30 volts, considering how much I can do already with 11.1. I run 120 amps and that's a lot in 10th scale. And they're also 4-pole motors.
Which one has been discontinued? They’re both available on their website to purchase or am I missing something?
@@G__Mason The Kraton 8s has been discontinued. I believe the only ones available are 6s and 4s which are smaller in scale.
@@markmejia7015 they have the 1/5 scale Kraton 8s on their website in stock right now… it’s the exb version, maybe that’s it 🤷🏻♂️

My brother in law and me go back n forth on this. I like 8s and he swears by 6s. Clearly I'm right and 8s is way better.

The truck I love is the outcast that’s the one I have. I got a big motor everything in the Alcest is upgraded. I’m talking about everything even the chassis every bit of my Alkirst truck 100% is upgraded. I have a I have a 12 S truck call Cass the best the fastest the number one truck I love.
