Robbie Hamza and Dr Zohair Rahman are both well known for their amazing work within the Brisbane community, and it was great to have these two sit together for this beautiful conversation. Dr. Zohair tells us a little about his childhood, growing up with a single father and how his father’s approach to raising him and his brother impacted his way of life until today.
The conversation largely surrounds the gaps that exist in Islamic education and how these gaps are playing a huge part in the ways that growing Muslim youth deal with the various social issues they are exposed to. This was a very engaging discussion which gives us, as a community, much to think about.
